About: 🐾 About Me Hello! My name is Alexander, and caring for animals has been a meaningful part of my life for many years. Ever since I was in middle school, I have been trusted by neighbors to help care for their dogs and cats, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with over 10 different pets in my community. Building long-term trust with both pets and owners has always been very important to me. 🐶 Dog Walking Experience I have extensive experience walking dogs of different breeds, sizes, and energy levels. Over the years, I have regularly walked up to six different dogs, not including my own. I understand that every dog has unique needs, whether that means longer walks, slower-paced strolls, or extra attention along the way. Safety, consistency, and enjoyment are always my top priorities during walks. 💕 Passion for Animals Animals have always held a very special place in my heart. After recently losing my own pets, caring for other animals has become a meaningful way for me to stay connected to that love and companionship. Because of this, I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own, with patience, kindness, and genuine attention. 🤝 Trust & Reliability I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. My goal is always to provide reliable, loving, and attentive care so that both you and your pet feel comfortable and confident while you are away. 🌟 Why Choose Me If you are looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, and truly passionate about animals, I would be honored to help care for your pet. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member and providing the care and attention they deserve. I'm very flexible, with my schedule as long as the owner of the pet is proactive with scheduling. I am happy to make time for the animals. In terms of taking care of pets at clients homes I really just try to be as proactive as possible and stop problems before they have them. This includes really listening and seeing any reoccurring issues that these animals might face on a day-to-day basis and taking the steps to make sure they don't happen on my watch.
About: I have a 4-year-old Maltipoo and caring for dogs is part of my daily life. I’m experienced with administering medication, keeping consistent routines, and going on 4–5 walks a day. I treat every dog like my own and always focus on safety, patience, and lots of love. I work from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pup all the love, attention, and playtime they deserve. I’m patient, caring, and love keeping dogs happy, safe, and active throughout the day. In my home, I keep spaces clean, secure, and free of hazards, and I supervise pets at all times. I follow any instructions from the pet owner carefully, including feeding, medications, and routines. I create a calm and positive environment, provide plenty of play and attention, and always monitor their behavior and well-being to make sure they’re happy and healthy.
“Eli was incredibly professional, attentive, and kind. Her detailed updates and cute photos gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My cat was clearly well cared for, and I came home to a clean, tidy space. I would absolutely book Eli again. My cat adored her.”

About: I have worked with animals since I can remember. I have had 3 dogs and many other animals. I worked at the Austin Animal Center between 10 and 15 hours every week for 2 years. I worked specifically in the ICU, meaning I know how to deal with healthy and the less healthy animals. I am an active college student at UCSD, so I do have classes to attend. Nevertheless, I have a pretty fluid schedule and am available at one point or another everyday of the week. I am very in tune with animals needs, especially since working in the ICU. I am a quick learner, so whatever is necessary for a specific animal, I have no doubt I can take it on.
“Ella is so sweet and my boys seem to like her already. They are sometimes difficult cats so I appreciate her willingness to accept this task of being their cat sitter/friend.”

“Melissa does drop in visits with my brand new puppy while I’m at work. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing the pups are in great hands. I highly recommend!”

“I’m so glad Yue was available again for my most recent vacation out of town. Yue is consistent, responsive, great attention to details, and took great care of my cats while I was away. I would highly recommend Yue.”

About: Hi! I’m a dependable dog walker and pet sitter who genuinely loves spending time with dogs and making sure they’re happy, exercised, and well cared for. I'm more than excited for any dog walks, pet sitting, playtime, feeding as instructed, and lots of pets and attention!!! I’m also big on communication, so if you want photos or videos during walks or visits, I’m always happy to send updates immediately! I’ve cared for dogs from big to small, as I interned as a veterinarian. No matter how many zoomies, energetic, relaxed your dog is, I am ready to make their day safe and special. I will adjust to your pet, whether they want a fun walk to burn off energy or a stroll with sniff breaks! I treat every dog like they’re my own and I will make them feel loved. I currently intern as a vet after hours on weekends after 3pm. Anything other than that I am fully available during the whole week, which is prime time for dog walks when you’re out running errands, working, or need an extra hand! I work on weekends as a vet assistant intern after 3pm. Other than that, I am completely free! This is prime time for your busy work schedules. Im a student in UCSD and I do not have a mandatory in person class. I’m extremely flexible and I live near everything in La Jolla with transportation. In my clients home, I would directly listen to any instructions they specify, and do best in my capability to take care of their fur baby! I absolutely keep this goal to the highest standard and I value open communication. You will get a response from me right away, and I will stimulate your dog so they won’t get too bored with me.
About: Having walked and taken care of puppies, senior dogs, and everything in between since 2017, I am looking to give your fur baby a stimulating walk for mental and physical wellbeing! I am a big animal lover and would love to meet your dog 🤍🤎 I am currently working part-time and have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your specific needs! Reach out and let’s get something on the books that works best for you. I am an experienced dog sitter and can confidently remove your dog in the face of a reactive pet or danger in the environment! I am also open to spending time on basic training maneuvers for your puppy.
About: What sets me apart is how much care and attention I give to each pet as an individual. I take the time to learn their age, personality, and daily routine so they feel comfortable and at ease. I have experience with puppies and enjoy helping reinforce basic training like house routines, leash manners, and positive reinforcement. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and truly love making sure pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. I also make it a priority to keep owners updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. 🐾 I usually wake up around 5am to take the dogs out for their morning walks and that lasts about 30-60 minutes. Since I work from home most days, I sometimes take them for an afternoon walk if they are feeling very energetic. We have a little play ground we let them go to bring out their zoomies before coming back in. Around 4-5pm, we always go to the park close to our neighborhood to let our furry friends play with each other and socialize! In the days it rainy, we usually take a longer walk around the neighborhood. I care for pets by prioritizing their safety, routine, and overall well-being, whether they are in my home or a client’s home. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medication administration, exercise needs, and any behavioral or medical considerations. I ensure pets have a clean, comfortable environment, fresh water at all times, and appropriate physical and mental stimulation.

About: I’m a HUGEEE cat lover. I adopted my fur baby Bobo from a small family-owned shelter in Baltimore. Ever since then, Bobo has traveled with me from Baltimore to New York, from west coast to the east, and we finally settled down in San Diego. Bobo is a loving lap cat and friendly to other cats as well. So cat boarding is welcome. Other than routine cat care, Bobo has developed UTI issues couple years ago, so I’m also comfortable giving medication, supporting hydration, monitoring litter box behavior closely, and following special diets. Since his first UTI five years ago, he hasn’t had a recurrence thanks to consistent, attentive care. I also have experience boarding and walking my friend’s medium-sized dog. Unfortunately as Bobo gets more sensitive on dogs, I’m not available for dog boarding service but I’m happy to walk your dogs. I’m available for drop in visits before 9am or after 3pm on weekdays. I’m available for most of the time frame on weekends. For boarding, please dm me for availabilities. When I cat sit at a friend’s house, I follow their routine as closely as possible so the cat feels safe and relaxed. I always let the cat greet me first (and get familiar with my scent) before starting anything. Then I do a quick wellness check—gently checking overall mood/energy and, if the cat is comfortable, giving a light pet along the back and belly. After that, I refresh food and water, clean and monitor the litter box, and give any medications or special diet items as needed. I spend quality time based on the cat’s personality—playtime, brushing, or quiet companionship for shy cats. I keep the home tidy and send daily updates with notes and photos, including anything I notice that seems different.
About: There’s never been a time in my life without a dog by my side—from a loyal German Shepherd growing up, to a hyperactive black Lab, and now a foster-failure Foxhound who’s claimed my heart (and my couch). I love doing everything with pups: long walks, “sniffaries” (a.k.a. sniffing safaris) in the park, and marathon cuddle sessions under blankets. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, whether walking or boarding friends’ pups, and I pride myself on keeping tails wagging, paws happy, and occasionally sneaking in a few extra treats. As a dog mom myself, I know how much peace of mind a cute photo or quick update can bring when you’re away from your loved one. That’s why, in addition to prioritizing your pup’s care and comfort, I make sure to communicate regularly with updates, photos, and little moments that’ll make you smile. Basically, if it’s fun for your dog (and reassuring for you), I’m in! I start my day with a coffee and a 40–60 minute walk around the nearby park, so your pup will get their morning energy out (and a little people-watching too). I work remotely, so they’ll never be left alone. Around lunchtime, I sneak in another 30-minute stroll, and I always wrap up the day with a more adventurous evening walk or run. On weekends, I make it a point to take my dog to a dog park or beach—Fiesta Island has been our go-to lately for some off-leash fun! Your pup will have plenty of company—my own dog is friendly and loves making new friends! My apartment is on the second floor, which minimizes escape risks, and I have a sunny balcony with a comfy couch for lounging. We can also create a quiet, safe space in the bedroom if your dog needs a little separation. I supervise play, follow routines you’re comfortable with, and make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care.
“Angela went the extra mile to take care of our feline family member. I love that she pays attention to his social needs as well, with lots of play time and cuddle time!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for about 3 years and currently have my own cat. Through daily care, I’ve become very familiar with feeding routines, cleaning, playtime, and understanding animals’ behavior. I’m patient, calm, and responsible, and I’m comfortable caring for pets in their own homes. I follow instructions carefully and always make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I have a flexible schedule and can make time for drop in visits, walks, and house sitting during weekdays and weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine and needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow instructions carefully and respect their space. I make sure doors and windows are secure, food and litter areas are clean, and pets are safe and comfortable at all times. I also provide updates if needed.
Torrey Pines pet parents share their Rover experiences
Eli was incredibly professional, attentive, and kind. Her detailed updates and cute photos gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My cat was clearly well cared for, and I came home to a clean, tidy space. I would absolutely book Eli again. My cat adored her.

Kate was able to help out last minute. She was very prompt and clear in her communication which helped ease our minds while we were away. She was able to sort through our lengthy instructions to make sure our cats got their medications and were taken care of to our high standards. She came up with a plan to ensure one of our kitties who was experiencing some separation anxiety received her full dose of medication. Most importantly, we returned to a peaceful home. We will definitely reach out to Kate to help us with our cats in the future!

Ashley did a fantastic job! It was my first time using Rover, and she made the entire process incredibly easy. She was able to meet with us on short notice, sent updates and photos at every visit, and handled our cats’ separate medications without any issues. She was also very responsive throughout. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and wonderful pet sitter!

Audrey is absolutely amazing! She took such good care of our cat, making sure that Suki got as many pets and as much playtime as she wanted! Audrey went above and beyond- we really appreciate all the time she spent making sure Suki was comfortable while we were away. She was also incredibly responsive and communicative, and took some amazing and hilarious photos. Thank you so much Audrey!

Alex was an absolute wonderful cat sitter, I cannot emphasize how grateful I am for how well she took care of my two cats! One of them is incredibly shy, but from the day she started watching them, the shy one very quickly came around and would wait for her at the door. She was incredibly communicative and professional, and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure my pets and apartment were taken care of. Thank you Alex so much for watching my kitties! They will definitely be seeing you again next time!
