About: I have worked with animals since I can remember. I have had 3 dogs and many other animals. I worked at the Austin Animal Center between 10 and 15 hours every week for 2 years. I worked specifically in the ICU, meaning I know how to deal with healthy and the less healthy animals. I am an active college student at UCSD, so I do have classes to attend. Nevertheless, I have a pretty fluid schedule and am available at one point or another everyday of the week. I am very in tune with animals needs, especially since working in the ICU. I am a quick learner, so whatever is necessary for a specific animal, I have no doubt I can take it on.

About: I’m a HUGEEE cat lover. I adopted my fur baby Bobo from a small family-owned shelter in Baltimore. Ever since then, Bobo has traveled with me from Baltimore to New York, from west coast to the east, and we finally settled down in San Diego. Bobo is a loving lap cat and friendly to other cats as well. So cat boarding is welcome. Other than routine cat care, Bobo has developed UTI issues couple years ago, so I’m also comfortable giving medication, supporting hydration, monitoring litter box behavior closely, and following special diets. Since his first UTI five years ago, he hasn’t had a recurrence thanks to consistent, attentive care. I also have experience boarding and walking my friend’s medium-sized dog. Unfortunately as Bobo gets more sensitive on dogs, I’m not available for dog boarding service but I’m happy to walk your dogs. I’m available for drop in visits before 9am or after 3pm on weekdays. I’m available for most of the time frame on weekends. For boarding, please dm me for availabilities. When I cat sit at a friend’s house, I follow their routine as closely as possible so the cat feels safe and relaxed. I always let the cat greet me first (and get familiar with my scent) before starting anything. Then I do a quick wellness check—gently checking overall mood/energy and, if the cat is comfortable, giving a light pet along the back and belly. After that, I refresh food and water, clean and monitor the litter box, and give any medications or special diet items as needed. I spend quality time based on the cat’s personality—playtime, brushing, or quiet companionship for shy cats. I keep the home tidy and send daily updates with notes and photos, including anything I notice that seems different.

On weekends, I make it a point to take my dog to a dog park or beach—Fiesta Island has been our go-to lately for some off-leash fun! Your pup will have plenty of company—my own dog is friendly and loves making new friends! My apartment is on the second floor, which minimizes escape risks, and I have a sunny balcony with a comfy couch for lounging. We can also create a quiet, safe space in the bedroom if your dog needs a little separation. I supervise play, follow routines you’re comfortable with, and make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care.
