About: Hi! I'm Vivian, a UCSD medical student and lifelong animal lover. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from 9-week-old puppies to 12-year-old senior dogs. In the past, I've provided dog walking, feeding, and overnight house sitting, and I'm comfortable following specific routines, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I'm also a cat owner myself, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I'll make sure they receive attentive, reliable care and plenty of affection. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m currently a medical student on summer break so I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry friends! Throughout the rest of summer, my schedule is very flexible to cater to whatever your pet needs :) I live at graduate housing which has plenty of green space for your pets to roam around and explore! I am able to crate your pets if necessary. I have a senior cat at home that has lived with other cats before and has also been friendly with all dogs that have come to visit my home.

About: I have lived with furry friends my whole life, lending me years of firsthand experiences dealing with dog and cat ownership from little babies to senior animals and I am familiar with the special care needs that come with different age groups. In addition to dog and cat sitting for family I have several years of experience on Rover providing walking and house sitting care. Every animal has such a vibrant and unique personality and I can't wait to meet yours!

About: Seven years ago, I rescued a beagle, and I’ve been caring for him ever since. Through daily walks, feeding, training, playtime, and regular vet visits, I’ve gained hands-on experience understanding dogs’ needs and personalities. I know how important patience, consistency, and safety are, and I’ll treat every dog in my care with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m a full-time student with a flexible schedule outside of classes. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks on many weekdays, as well as weekends. I keep my calendar up to date and always communicate about changes. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I respect dogs, their habits and space. I follow the owner’s instructions, keep pets safe and comfortable, provide plenty of exercise and attention, and make sure their routine stays consistent.
“Celine has been so great and especially when having to book last minute she seems to always be able to fit us in. My dog is bigger and she does great with him. She’s super reliable and would 100% recommend her.”

“Sara is the best! I have two dogs and one pulls, and she’s been amazing walking both of them. She is so sweet and very considerate of my home. She is quick to respond and sends the best updates whenever she walks my pups. Highly recommend booking with Sara!”

About: While I haven’t had any dogs of my own (I do have two guinea pigs, though!), I’ve spent years dog sitting all types of dogs since I was young. From big to small and from check-ins to overnight stays, I have lots of experience with all. I hope to meet you and your pets soon! I’m currently a student, but my schedule is very flexible and completely free during the weekends. During weekdays, I will usually be free after 1pm, but this varies and can be earlier. With my long experience with dogs, I’ve been through many situations that were stressful to get through at the time, but have given me lots of skills and knowledge. For example, I’ve sat dogs with varies illness’s that needed constant care and medication, dogs with past traumas, and many more.
About: What sets me apart is real, hands-on experience, not just good intentions. I raised and trained my own dog from 8 weeks old, so I understand puppy behavior, training fundamentals, and how to build trust with a young or nervous dog from day one. I'm comfortable with all sizes, from tiny breeds to big dogs who need extra exercise and structure. I've also pet sat for countless friends since I was a teenager, so I know that every dog has a different personality and routine, and I take the time to learn what makes your pet comfortable rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether your pup needs an experienced hand with training reinforcement, extra patience, or just a loving, attentive presence while you're away, I treat every pet like my own. I currently have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I'm not tied to a rigid 9-to-5, so I'm able to offer flexible availability throughout the week — including midday visits, walks, and drop-ins that a lot of full-time sitters can't accommodate. Whether it's a regular weekly routine or last-minute coverage, I have the bandwidth to be reliable and consistent, which I know matters most to pet parents. In my home, your pet will have plenty of space to relax and play — I have a dog-friendly 1,200 square foot apartment, and a trail nearby for walks and exercise. My own dog is incredibly social and loves playing with other dogs, so if your pup enjoys company, they'll have a built-in playmate during their stay. I treat every pet like a member of the household — consistent feeding schedules, plenty of attention, and enough space to settle in and feel comfortable rather than confined. When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible — same feeding times, same walk schedule, same little habits they're used to. I want pets to feel like nothing has changed just because their owner is away, and I always treat their home with the same respect and care I'd want for my own.

About: I’ve been walking dogs for 6 years now. I’m a readily-available animal lover who wants to get your pet active and help take some stress off your plate. I’m available to walk your dog from 6 AM to 10 PM every day. If you have any special accommodations or questions just ask—I’m always happy to help where I can. As a longtime dog owner and dog walker myself, I can ensure that I will give your dog the attentiveness, care, and respect they deserve.
“This was our first meeting where I wanted to introduce my dog to Yang. All went well and smooth. My dog is quite active and excitable one, but so far Yang managed to handle her well, and he was very attentive to my instructions and introduction about her :)”

“Hanna has been indispensable in caring for our dog the past six months. Today she really went above and beyond with a last minute reschedule of visit times and a less than fun visit with his dietary upset. She is always cheerful and our pup just loves her, as fo we. 😊”
“It was our first time on Rover and Luciana was so kind enough to meet with our pup a couple of days before. We were worried about our pup having separation anxiety because we were going back to the office 4 days a week now.Shadow enjoyed the visits and was very glad to see her for his walks. Luciana made us feel comfortable and communicated well and promptly. We will definitely be booking Luciana for as long as she is available 🙂”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Torrey Pines
Jianxian (J) has been consistently walking my dog for about a month now and I am so happy I found her on Rover! My dog is very shy and nervous but she warmed up to J immediately. J is reliable and clearly loves dogs. I trust that she will take good care of my dog when taking her out. I highly recommend J!

Elise was a great sitter who really listened and followed my instructions for taking care of my dog. During our meet and greet, Elise was comfortable interacting with my dog and my dog really enjoyed playing with her too. Elise sent me picture updates during the walk and I can tell my dog had fun with her too. I would definitely recommend booking Elise's services!

Jennifer is hands down the best! She’s punctual, super flexible, and treats our dogs like her own. Our Bulldog and American Bully get so excited every time she comes by. It’s such a relief knowing they’re being cared for by someone so kind and dependable. I am a repeat customer for a reason!

I truly can’t say enough good things about Luciana. She consistently goes above and beyond, especially with the amazing photos and videos she sends of my fur baby while I’m at work—it gives me so much peace of mind. She’s also an excellent communicator, which makes such a difference. I always feel confident that my baby is safe and well cared for with her. From the very first meeting, my dog jumped right into her arms and gave her nonstop kisses—which honestly tells you everything you need to know ❤️
