“Sara is the best! I have two dogs and one pulls, and she’s been amazing walking both of them. She is so sweet and very considerate of my home. She is quick to respond and sends the best updates whenever she walks my pups. Highly recommend booking with Sara!”

About: Hi! I'm Vivian, a UCSD medical student and lifelong animal lover. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from 9-week-old puppies to 12-year-old senior dogs. In the past, I've provided dog walking, feeding, and overnight house sitting, and I'm comfortable following specific routines, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I'm also a cat owner myself, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I'll make sure they receive attentive, reliable care and plenty of affection. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m currently a medical student on summer break so I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry friends! Throughout the rest of summer, my schedule is very flexible to cater to whatever your pet needs :) I live at graduate housing which has plenty of green space for your pets to roam around and explore! I am able to crate your pets if necessary. I have a senior cat at home that has lived with other cats before and has also been friendly with all dogs that have come to visit my home.
About: I have grown up with pets in my family and have responsibly cared for dogs and rabbits. I am responsive and take commitments seriously. I think I would be an excellent pet sitter. I currently work part time at UTC, and attend UCSD as a full time student. I am available in the mornings/evenings as well as weekends. I am very flexible. I will be very respectful of the clients house should I find myself staying there with the dog. I am unable to house since I reside in an on campus apartment.
“Chaminie took really excellent care of our Spikey boy. She gave timely updates after their walks and always played with him at home. I would 100% recommend her to a friend and will def book her again!”

“Julie was wonderful with my 3-month-old puppy, Pearl, and took such great care of walking her and feeding her. She was reliable, caring, and gave me peace of mind knowing Pearl was in good hands. I would gladly book her again.”

“Brittany walks my golden weekly and always does a great job! She is punctual, attentive, and a good communicator. I recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy person to take care of their fur child.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and have plenty of experience caring for them. I have fostered cats and dog/cat sat all throughout middle and high school. I also trained my dog when he was a puppy. Comfortable with whatever fun quirks your dog may have:) I work part time in La Jolla, so I have plenty of time. My shifts are typically around 4 hours, with the maximum being 6. If longer than 5 hours, I can pop over on my lunch break and check on your pets! I am more than willing to spend the night with your pets, and can manage any crating needed. That being said, if they are most comfortable in the bed, I don't mind cuddling!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always been a huge animal lover. I rescued both of my dogs while I was in college about 12 years ago. I have a 13-year-old German Shepherd mix, Shepp, who now has a variety of skin and mobility issues, so I’m very comfortable with senior dogs, giving medications, and providing a little extra patience and care when needed. I also have Luna, my 9-year-old mixed breed, who is still crazy, energetic, and keeps me on my toes! I’m very comfortable caring for and walking multiple dogs at once, so multi-pet households are no problem at all. Over the years I’ve learned plenty of tricks for giving medications, handling different personalities, and making dogs feel comfortable and safe. I’ve always loved all kinds of animals. I even had a bearded dragon, and growing up I wanted to be a zoologist. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m returning to school at San Diego Mesa College and have classes Monday through Thursday, with classes starting as early as 8 AM and ending as late as 3 PM. My schedule still gives me plenty of flexibility for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, especially in the early morning, afternoon, and evening, and on Fridays and weekends. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet’s normal routine. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. I always treat every pet like I would my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions you have. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, including senior dogs who may need a little extra patience or assistance. I also live in a very dog-friendly community on the ground level with an enclosed patio, which gives dogs a safe and convenient outdoor space. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and get plenty of attention.

I am flexible in timing with my partner, trying to do what I can to get us to our savings goal I provide reliable, attentive care based on each pet's individual needs. I'm experienced with daily walks, feeding, medications, and caring for pets with medical needs. About: I enjoy helping out dogs in my neighborhood, whether it's just a walk or an over night stay! I have had great experiences with all different kinds of dog! I recently moved out here after getting married and am currently in between jobs. I love dogs and getting outside! I live a very active lifestyle and I’m excited to get your dogs moving too! “Paul saves the day! He’s super reliable, friendly, loves my pooch, he helped me while working long hours. Taking her for walks. I’m training my dog to use the doggy door and he helped me with reminding her to go in and out of the doggie door! Successfully!!”

“Celine is fantastic. You can tell she loves dogs, and Peach warmed up to her immediately. Peach has some anxiety around walking with new people, but she walked with Celine on her first visit. I can’t wait for Peach to continue walks with her!”

“Lyndsey was great!. Although I didn’t meet her I was grateful she could let Teddy out with her busy schedule She was flexible with walk times, posted pictures of my pup and was communicative on the app which is awesome ! As a fellow nurse I felt safe having her come to our place and walk Teddy - I will def use her again!”

About: Hey there! I’m Emily. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience dog sitting for a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I’m comfortable working with reactive dogs and am passionate about ethical dog training and reinforcing healthy habits to ensure your pup is as happy as possible. I’m also knowledgeable about animal nutrition and would be happy to chat about all things diet-related. (Note: I am not a professional dog trainer or nutritionist, just heavily researched and interested by the topics. I’ll always recommend you consult with a trusted vet for any important matters). I also love learning about care for unusual animals (bring on your critters 🦎) Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine, especially now that I’ve recently left a 9-5 job in marketing to go to school for midwifery. As a student, I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets I care for. Whether it's fitting in walks, playtime, or just being there for companionship, I’m able to adjust my day around the needs of the pets I’m watching. This flexibility also means I’m available for last-minute care or extended stays when needed. Pet care is a perfect balance to my studies, giving me a chance to step away from studying and spend time doing something I love—caring for some sweet pups and cats! Caring for pets is something I take very seriously, whether it’s in my home or a client’s. In either setting, I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment tailored to the specific needs of each pet. I pay close attention to their routines, preferences, and any special requirements they may have. In my home, I make sure to have plenty of cozy spots for lounging, engaging toys for playtime, and a clean, quiet space for feeding and resting. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and routines, ensuring that the pet feels secure and well-cared for in their familiar environment. Communication is key, so I always keep clients updated with photos and progress reports to ensure they’re comfortable with how their furry friend is doing. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them all the love, attention, and care they deserve!

About: Friends and family have always relied on me to watch their pets. I am a huge animal lover and would love to spend time with your pets. I have just graduated college, and I’m taking this summer to relax and hang out with friends and family. This allows me to have a lot of free time during the week! I have a fenced in yard that is perfect for your pets to exercise and play in. I am also located near a park which is perfect for walks.
About: I grew up taking care of 2 boxers, and am now the owner of a lovely 2 year-old corgi named Prince! I do my best to give my dog the best life possible, making sure he gets lots of treats, belly rubs, and exercise! I also take my dog to the beach at least 4 days a week! I would love to give your furry friend the same love and care that I give my own. I am a lover of all animals and can’t wait to meet your pet! I just graduated with my master’s from UCSD, so I’ve been focusing on my fitness and relaxing before I settle into a new job. Now, my usual routine is to wake up, take out my dog, go to Pilates, take my dog to the beach, and chill at home! I would love to walk your dog or board your dog, incorporating your pets needs into my routine! I live in a condo on the 2nd floor. If that’s not an issue for you, I’m happy to board your dog! I have a large balcony area for basking in the sun, and of course I would allow your dog to chill on my bed or couch! I keep the AC on so it doesn’t get hot and have water available at all times.
“This was our first meeting where I wanted to introduce my dog to Yang. All went well and smooth. My dog is quite active and excitable one, but so far Yang managed to handle her well, and he was very attentive to my instructions and introduction about her :)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Torrey Pines
Celine had recurring walks with my dog over the summer. She was great with him! He was very nervous at first and she was so gentle and patient with him. It was his first time being home alone so often! She was timely and available for changes on short notice. I definitely will rebook when Goat is needing walks! Thank you Celine for a great summer!!!

We highly recommend Sydney! She walked our 1.5-year-old Golden Retriever, Louie (big boy with lots of puppy energy), and did an amazing job. Communication was excellent, and we loved the daily updates and photos. Highly recommend her and will absolutely be booking her again!

Jianxian (J) has been consistently walking my dog for about a month now and I am so happy I found her on Rover! My dog is very shy and nervous but she warmed up to J immediately. J is reliable and clearly loves dogs. I trust that she will take good care of my dog when taking her out. I highly recommend J!

Elise was a great sitter who really listened and followed my instructions for taking care of my dog. During our meet and greet, Elise was comfortable interacting with my dog and my dog really enjoyed playing with her too. Elise sent me picture updates during the walk and I can tell my dog had fun with her too. I would definitely recommend booking Elise's services!

Jennifer is hands down the best! She’s punctual, super flexible, and treats our dogs like her own. Our Bulldog and American Bully get so excited every time she comes by. It’s such a relief knowing they’re being cared for by someone so kind and dependable. I am a repeat customer for a reason!
