I have been a pet sitter for almost 15 years now. I initially relocated to California from Virginia to begin my travel nursing career back in 2019. I sadly had to leave many of my established clients back in Virginia that I loved and cared for for many years. While it was sad to part with them, I'm always looking forward to meeting and establishing new wonderful clients. Travel nursing has taken me all up and down the west coast, which has now become my permanent home. I love living in San Diego full time and the endless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Taking your furry friends on walks is one of my favorite activities. I also volunteer for The Animal Pad and get to spend time caring for the amazing rescue animals that come through their doors. I’m excited to meet you and your four legged children.

Jessica was very friendly and easy to talk to. She responded very quickly to all my texts and was amazing at sending updates and pics which helped us to feel more at ease. I was a little surprised when we returned home because the house smelled absolutely awful and the downstairs litter boxes were so full that they were unscoopable and we had to just throw away and use all new litter. It took several days to get the cat poop smell out of the house which led me to believe that maybe they weren't scooped the entire 8 days? I think Jessica is really nice and is probably normally a lot better than this but maybe just had too much on her plate? I'm not sure but $15 dollars a day for the cats I feel like deserved for the boxes to be scooped at least every other day if not daily. I hope this was just a fluke situation. Jessica has great reviews which is why I chose her. In the end, our pets were alive and seemingly happy and that's the most important thing.

My dogs LOVE Jessica! She is always so professional, punctual, and I love that she always sends pictures of the pups after their walk to let me know how things went. I would always feel comfortable having her around and my dogs definitely agree!

Schedule
I work 4 days a week as a recovery room RN and my hours range from 8-10hrs. I am flexible with timing requests for most walks and am happy to provide walks before or after my shifts and, of course, on my days off.

- I would always like to know if there’s any aggression around other animals...especially for walks. There’s always the possibility of running into others on the road and would like to know how to handle any encounters (i.e. steer clear of others). Any allergies or particulars that your pet likes and/or does not like are important to know as well. I accept all breeds and all sizes!
