“The only bad part about highly recommending Ana is that her schedule might get too full 😂 now for real, Ana is a saint. My dog is very picky and an old man and somehow she just gets him. She's incredibly reliable and quick to respond. I had a two week trip planned and Ana continuously gave updates and pictures, moreso than my own sister who was actually house sitting with him! She's so caring and loving, your pup will be so happy with Ana as a new friend”

About: Hi! I’m Sarah, a lifelong dog lover who has always grown up with multiple dogs in my family (besides my freshman year of college in the dorms, which was a long enough break for me before I adopted a dog of my own again). I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from black Labradors and American bulldogs to smaller breeds like pugs. I’ve also dog-sat for friends, family, and neighbors many times, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. I currently have two pugs of my own, Bean (3) and Gus (5), who keep me on my toes and bring a lot of joy to my everyday life. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. While this is my first time on Rover, I’m not new to dog care. I bring years of hands-on experience and a calm, attentive approach to every dog I care for. Whether your pup is playful and energetic or more relaxed and cuddly, I’ll treat them like my own and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m an elementary school teacher, so I currently have the summer off, which gives me a lot of free time during the week and a very flexible schedule. During the school year, I still have consistent mornings, evenings, and weekends available for pet care. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already structure my day around my two pugs and am used to taking on that sense of responsibility and consistency. I’m used to managing feeding/walking schedules, routines, and daily needs. I also enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so incorporating walks and check-ins is something I genuinely look forward to. In my home, pets would be cared for in a calm, safe, and supervised environment. I have two very friendly pugs, Bean (5) and Gus (3), who are social, gentle, and get along well with other dogs. I always do slow, supervised introductions to make sure everyone is comfortable. Dogs in my care get regular walks (at least 2–3 times a day depending on their needs), along with plenty of attention, playtime, and rest. I also have a securely fenced outdoor area for quick potty breaks, but I prioritize walks for exercise and enrichment. My goal is to make visiting dogs feel at home while keeping a structured, safe routine so they feel comfortable and cared for during their stay.

“Caitlin took EXCELLENT care of our kitties, she gave us super detailed check ins, lots of photos, and I can tell she really treated our babies like her own. We would 1000% recommend Caitlin!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats and other pets for 10 years , and I grew up in a home full of animals, so being around pets has always come naturally to me. I genuinely love spending time with animals, understanding their personalities, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I also enjoy helping people when they need an extra hand, especially when it comes to something as important as their pets. What sets me apart from other sitters is my patience, attentiveness, and ability to connect with animals of all ages. I’m especially good with young pets who need guidance and consistency, as well as senior pets who require a gentler, more attentive approach. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and small details to make sure each pet gets personalized care. I treat every animal like they’re my own, which helps them feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I’m currently a part-time college student looking to earn extra income while doing something I genuinely love like caring for pets! With a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide reliable and attentive care that helps keep your pets happy, safe, and comfortable. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making their day brighter through walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also dedicated to providing you with comfort and reassurance, knowing your pets are receiving attentive and loving care. I’m happy to arrange visits that fit your needs, including walks, drop-ins, and playtime. I’d love the opportunity to support you and your pets! Your pets' safety and happiness are my top priority! | provide walks, baths, feeding, and plenty of playtime, and I'm happy to help with household tasks. I also love sending updates and photos/ messages to you, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, comfortable, and having a wonderful time.
About: I am Bradley and I have taken care of dogs for the past 10 years. My own dog is almost 9 years old, 20 pounds, and is very friendly. I dog sit pretty often and love have extra furry friends stay with us. We have close access to grass for potty breaks and Balboa Park is only a few blocks away. We love to get outside and walk the neighborhood. I work from home, so I have lots of time to make sure any dogs staying with me has plenty of time to get outside and play. I typically am outside with my dog 4x a day. My own home has plenty of space to roam around. My dog is very friendly but typically keeps to herself even when other dogs are around. I am always available to help your dog for any particular need they might have.
“Tina was so sweet to check in on our cat Vic when I booked fairly last minute. I can always tell Vic is so much more chill and relaxed when I arrive home from a trip after she gets a visit from Tina. She is the best! We are really grateful to have someone we trust with our little cat.”

“Teresa is so good with my fur babies! Always follows instructions, sends lots of pictures and makes sure my kitties feel loved while I’m away! 10/10 recommend her!!”

“Our pups loved Phillip the moment they met him. He stopped by and did a meet and greet, which was very comforting. One could tell he also enjoys being around dogs. He kept us updated daily and even collected our mail and packages. We left him a letter regarding caring for the pups and he followed every step. On the last day he spent a few minutes with us and the dogs and you could tell they were happy to see him. Will definitely use him again.”

About: First experience with dogs was growing up and my yellow lab had 11 puppies all delivered in the house. I helped care for them while finding their new homes along with two cats. I would love a dog of my own, but don’t have the space for one to run around freely. Part-time pet sitting to help pay off some debt while I continue to grow my coaching business. I love animals and this was an easy way to do something to help and also make a little extra money. I respect pets and care for them. I do had a no fear attitude and understand that every pet has their preferences. I can do most things so long as I am prepared ahead of time.
About: I was a devoted dog mom for 10 years to my rescue pup, who was my best friend and constant companion. Most recently, my 10 year old senior dog, Keira just passed away. I am not ready for a dog of my own yet, but I love spending time with dogs. I’m really active, love being outdoors, and will make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise, attention, and care! I’ve also used dogsitters from Rover and know how important it is to feel comfortable that someone responsible is watching your dog and looking out for their best interests while you are away. I live with my boyfriend who loves dogs, plays an active dog parent role with our rescue dog, is very active, and extremely patient. In order to ensure the best experience for both them and myself, we will only care for one dog at a time, dogs who are adults or seniors, and moderate to lower energy. I only dog sit for pups who are comfortable sleeping in their own bed or designated space, as I don’t allow dogs to sleep in my bed. I’ve found this helps everyone settle in more comfortably and creates a consistent routine during their stay. I only care for dogs who are on a vet prescribed regular flea and tick preventative medicine and are spayed/neutered. I work remotely and take walks throughout the day, so why not enjoy them with a dog? Caring for pets fits perfectly into my routine, giving me the chance to provide them with exercise, companionship, and plenty of attention. My boyfriend has a hybrid work schedule and he loves going on long walks as well. On weekends, I usually go for long runs and may be out for up to 3 hours, so it’s important that your dog is comfortable being alone during that time. I prioritize safe, enjoyable walks tailored to each dog’s needs. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or an energetic outing, I ensure they get exercise, fresh air, and plenty of attention while keeping them safe and happy. My boyfriend and I are a mature couple and we’re very vigilant when taking care of a dog. In addition to our dog, we will only look after one other dog at a time to ensure that dog gets our full attention.
“Olivia is the best! I trust her completely with our cat. I always know our cat is in great hands while we are away. She makes traveling and leaving the country a little easier knowing how much she cares about our little guy. Thank you Olivia!!”

“Angela is great! She leaves detailed notes about her stay with your pet and is GREAT with anxious dogs. My Doberman was very hesitant when meeting her but she was able to get him to walk (and jog!) on their walk. She staid up to date with me about her drop in visit a d made me feel at ease knowing he was well taken care of.”

“Leilani did some drop-ins for our dog Moxie as we were away for the evening for a special event. I loved the reports we got from her with updates and our dog loved her at the meet and great! Will definitely be rebooking.”

Wow!!! Danielle was easy to communicate with and seems like she genuinely enjoyed spending time with our cats Suzie, Finny and Millie! This makes such a difference when working with a new sitter as you feel you can naturally trust them to take amazing care of the little ones, which gives true peace of mind :) She also sent a nice update with many lovely pictures! Thanks Danielle!

Catherine was so nice and easy to communicate with! She made it feel easy to trust her and I booked her last minute cause I had a change of plans. She was understanding, and I knew I could rely on her, she sent tons of cute pics and kept it simple and easy. I didn’t worry one bit!

Samantha did a great job watching the kitties. She followed the care instructions and extended efforts by cleaning up some messes from the cats and even gave our jumping spider some attention during my trip. Quick communication and responses which kept us at ease.

Brandon was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G with my cat while I was out of town for the weekend. My cat can need a lot of stimulation at times & Brandon was not only great at keeping him engaged but was also exceptional at reading when my cat needed some chill time. It’s super special to have someone who “gets cats” & pays attention to their subtle communications. Brandon is super organized, thorough, great at communication & following through with instructions & plans. Thank you again!

Jasmin was a wonderful pet sitter! She took excellent care of my two kitties while I was away and gave me so much peace of mind. She was reliable, communicative, and sent regular updates and photos, which I really appreciated. It was clear my cats were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would absolutely book with Jasmin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!

Chelsea was awesome taking care of my cat, she went above and beyond. She checked his water and food daily, ensured he got daily pets, snacks, and play. Throughout the visit Goose even began to seek pets and attention something he does not usually do. She even went so far as to check and change out his litter bag since it was getting full towards the end of my trip. I am really happy with the service she provided and will happily rebook with her if I need petsitting services.
