About: I grew up with dogs in the house, and have always helped out at animal shelters. I love dogs big and small, and have dog sat for people with dogs as small as chihuahua to dogs as big as Tibetan mastiffs. I currently have a rescue pit/lab mix. I have my own car, so pick ups, drop offs, and dog sitting at the owner’s house would not be an issue. I do speak Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese fluently in case there is a need for communication with the owners or families in a different language. I love outdoor sports and walks in the park and trail, so that is something I could offer if the owner wishes their pups get some more exercise. I have also cat sit for friends many of times. I have never had a cat of my own, but always enjoy playing with my friends’ cats. Honestly, I love animals of all kinds! I’m an icu nurse, so I work 3 days a week. Rest of the time I spend hanging out with friends and families and my dog. I typically walk my dog about 3 times a day and feed him twice a day. Depending on what your pet’s needs are, I am flexible to meet your pet’s needs.

About: Hey there! My name is Natasha and I have been an avid dog lover since I was young. My partner and I both WFH and we have a fully fenced in front and backyard for the pups to play and roam. With my 8+ years of dog care experience, it's my pleasure to make our house your dog's favorite home away from home! A little about me: My first dog was a Christmas gift when I was 16. Despite being on crutches, I learned a lot about dog training and care. Fast forward to 7 years ago, I rescued my border collie and trained her to become a service dog. We go everywhere and do (almost) everything together - including taking care of other dogs! I've also fostered dogs through Amazing Strays and really enjoyed the process of helping them decompress, recalibrate, and feel safe enough to trust and love again. I am also happy to watch your pet(s) at your home as my partner can take care of the gang here at home while I'm away. Whatever works best for you! Either way - your pets will be loved, mentally and physically engaged, and cared for however long you need! I work remote full-time and set my own schedule. Nyla joins me for runs, frisbee sessions at the park, hikes, and fetch 5-6 days a week. After that, it’s all cuddle puddle. We also do some training on our walks for breakfast! We go for a long walk in the morning and evening, with plenty of short breaks throughout the day - or one of the aforementioned activities! Safety is of utmost importance to me. I know many dogs have lots of ways they communicate their boundaries and I keep a close eye for any or all of them your dog may show. We have a fully fenced in front and backyard, a way to divide the two, and live in a residential neighborhood. I work with each pet to learn their comfort level and earn their trust on their terms and timetable. Nyla and our foster are both crate trained so separation is always available if need be!

PLEASE have your dog up to date on core vaccines: Bordetella, Rabies, DHP (distemper/parvo) - with medical exceptions. PLEASE have your dog on a flea/tick medication prescribed by your vet. About: Doggy Mama of 10 years for my sweet Wheaten Terrier, Suki! I have been with her for all stages of life: curious puppy, energetic teenager, and mellow adult. This has taught me how to adjust towards whatever needs your pet may have. No matter the attention your furry friend needs— whether it be downtime and cuddles, or zoomies and long walks— I am here to provide! I can administer medication, and will easily adapt to the schedule/routine that your pet requires. I am a sophomore student at San Diego State University, majoring in Criminal Justice. I have classes Monday-Thursday starting at 12:00pm and ending by 4:00pm. I live on campus and have a car so transportation is not an issue. I am able to pet sit at anytime throughout the week that I don’t have classes- and am willing to stay over night and/or through the weekends. Caring for your companion will vary depending on personality and routine but there are definitely some core principles that I carry with me. First one being respect— respect of your home, respect of your animals needs and wants, and respect of your time. I will be present as much as I can be, even if that means just sitting in the same room as them. Another core value, depending on your pet, is exercise. It doesn’t matter if it’s a long walk, a short and slow walk, or even just interacting with toys— something that gets them moving and keeps them entertained. And a big one is love, I promise to absolutely adore your animal and show them kindness in whatever ways they need. That could look like self care: brushing their coat, massaging stiff joints. That could look like affection: rubbing on them, talking to them, and making sure they know i’m here for them. And that could also mean giving them space. Any adjustment that I can make to give you and your pet a smooth experience, I would love to do.

About: My friends and neighbors count on me to check on and sit their animals, and I regularly walk my own pups with their neighborhood furry friends. I grew up with Rottweilers, and have embraced small dogs in recent years. I'm 6ft and 200lbs, and am comfortable with a variety of sizes of dogs. I currently have total flexibility in my schedule and am happy to help with pet care throughout the day. I'm just getting started on Rover, but I've been a dedicated pet parent for almost a decade and love the way it enriches my life. I'd be happy to extend the same level of care and understanding I give to my own pets to yours. I live with my two pups in a small condo complex, where I have an enclosed back patio and immediate access to a very walkable neighborhood. I am comfortable entering friends' homes and allowing the animals to acclimate at their own pace, and am just as happy taking pets for walks as I am keeping them company in their own homes.

About: I have the most experience with adult and senior dogs. My dog is 11 years old and she’s had numerous medications prescribed to her, so giving medicine to animals is not a problem. I currently work Monday through Friday 8:30-3:30, but can come to your home to care for your animal and house right after I get off work. On the weekends, I have open availability. I will let animals out to use the restroom every 2 hours and follow all instructions left for me. I will cuddle with them if they allow me to do so because that’s my favorite part!
