About: I am new to Rover, but not new to dog sitting! As a dog owner for majority of life, I have been without a canine companion for the last couple years after my last dog passed. Due to some newer work travel obligations, I don’t feel confident in owning a dog at the moment, so getting a quality fix while caring for other families’ doggos! Young puppies to senior dogs, I have had them all. From a 30-lb Shepard/chow/hound mix (Lucy) to a 100-lb chocolate lab (Belle) and a few in between (Irish setter,lab mix), I have had solo dogs and multiple dogs in the household at once. I am an active person who will hike / run / walk as each dog is interested or able to. For overnights, my house is a small two-story home. I have a fully fenced yard area, too compact an area for a dog to get up to full speed, but definitely large enough to accommodate a quality case of the zoomies. For drop-ins and pet walks, I am punctual, thorough, and a happy walker. And willing to jog with dogs who benefit from the extra cardio… I work full-time with a large degree of flexibility. Partially remote, partially in office on no “fixed” schedule. If I am booked, I am committed to working my schedule around the needs of the dog(s) to be home, to walk, to feed, etc. For overnights, my house is a small two-story home. I have a fully fenced yard area, too compact and area for a dog to get up to full speed, but definitely large enough to accommodate a quality case of the zoomies. No dogs in the household (hence the Rover profile!).

About: I’ve cared for my childhood dog for the past 10 years and other family pups, giving me plenty of experience with the daily responsibilities of caring for a pet. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, keeping a consistent routine, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs, and I’ll always treat your pet like family! I am a SDSU student who only has a couple classes a day, giving me plenty of availability to walk, accompany, and pet sit your precious animals! I am not into the party scene as much so weekends are completely free. I prioritize safety, comfort, and following each pet’s routine. I’ll carefully follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medications, and anything else their pet needs. I’m attentive to my surroundings, keep pets secure during walks and visits, and make sure they’re comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’ll also communicate with owners and provide updates so they know their pet is doing well! You won't go long without a cute photo updating that your pet is doing well!

About: As the son of a competitive sled dog racer in the northeast, I spent my entire childhood with dogs - at work, at play, and at rest. As an adult, I have cared for pets of my own as well as for pets of family and friends throughout the LA area, building strong bonds and providing reliable, attentive care. About: My friends and neighbors count on me to check on and sit their animals, and I regularly walk my own pups with their neighborhood furry friends. I grew up with Rottweilers, and have embraced small dogs in recent years. I'm 6ft and 200lbs, and am comfortable with a variety of sizes of dogs. I currently have total flexibility in my schedule and am happy to help with pet care throughout the day. I'm just getting started on Rover, but I've been a dedicated pet parent for almost a decade and love the way it enriches my life. I'd be happy to extend the same level of care and understanding I give to my own pets to yours. I live with my two pups in a small condo complex, where I have an enclosed back patio and immediate access to a very walkable neighborhood. I am comfortable entering friends' homes and allowing the animals to acclimate at their own pace, and am just as happy taking pets for walks as I am keeping them company in their own homes.

“I have three very picky kitty cats. I set up a meet and greet with Sara knowing full well that all three of the cats would scatter and she might not see them at all that day. Boy was I wrong instead of running two of them came to the door to greet her. The third cat didn't run away and even let Sara come pet her! I think it is safe to say that Sara does have some magic or charm that my kitty cats fell in love with. I felt secure and safe having her taking care of my cats, going above and beyond even. I felt at ease giving her the key to our house knowing everything would be okay. I also love using Rover because that is an extra measure of protection for my home and pets.
