About: I grew up with dogs in the house, and have always helped out at animal shelters. I love dogs big and small, and have dog sat for people with dogs as small as chihuahua to dogs as big as Tibetan mastiffs. I currently have a rescue pit/lab mix. I have my own car, so pick ups, drop offs, and dog sitting at the owner’s house would not be an issue. I do speak Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese fluently in case there is a need for communication with the owners or families in a different language. We always had two Siamese cats in the house growing up, and my first pet I adopted out of college was my very own cat. About: I have taken care of dogs eight years of my life! I have also have dogs along the way as i’ve grown up as well as seeing dogs everyday at my old job at Dutch Bros Coffee. Neighbors and friends have trusted me with their animals. I have noticed dogs and cats often feel safe with me quickly and i feel that it’s due to their ability to sense a humans positive energy. My goal is to make your dog or cat feel safe and loved as their owner does and it’s a perk for me because I get to spend time with an animal!! I do school full time but that is fully online so I can be fully available for that. And depending on pay and your schedule, i would be working at another job and would adjust my hours accordingly to fit your needs. I know how scary it can be to trust your animal with a stranger let alone trust that they will be there enough to attend to the dogs/cats needs but that would be my priority and im flexible!!! The services will definitely depend on the owners wishes. I will live with other dogs in my home so it would be a better idea to take care of the animal in the owners home to prevent any conflict with different animals. Again, i’m flexible.
About: My friends and neighbors count on me to check on and sit their animals, and I regularly walk my own pups with their neighborhood furry friends. I grew up with Rottweilers, and have embraced small dogs in recent years. I'm 6ft and 200lbs, and am comfortable with a variety of sizes of dogs. I currently have total flexibility in my schedule and am happy to help with pet care throughout the day. I'm just getting started on Rover, but I've been a dedicated pet parent for almost a decade and love the way it enriches my life. I'd be happy to extend the same level of care and understanding I give to my own pets to yours. I live with my two pups in a small condo complex, where I have an enclosed back patio and immediate access to a very walkable neighborhood. I am comfortable entering friends' homes and allowing the animals to acclimate at their own pace, and am just as happy taking pets for walks as I am keeping them company in their own homes.
