About: I am new to Rover, but not new to dog sitting! As a dog owner for majority of life, I have been without a canine companion for the last couple years after my last dog passed. Due to some newer work travel obligations, I don’t feel confident in owning a dog at the moment, so getting a quality fix while caring for other families’ doggos! Young puppies to senior dogs, I have had them all. From a 30-lb Shepard/chow/hound mix (Lucy) to a 100-lb chocolate lab (Belle) and a few in between (Irish setter, lab mix), I have had solo dogs and multiple dogs in the household at once. I am an active person who will hike / run / walk as each dog is interested or able to. For overnights, my house is a small two-story home. I have a fully fenced yard area, too compact an area for a dog to get up to full speed, but definitely large enough to accommodate a quality case of the zoomies. For drop-ins and pet walks, I am punctual, thorough, and a happy walker. And willing to jog with dogs who benefit from the extra cardio… I work full-time with a large degree of flexibility. Partially remote, partially in office on no “fixed” schedule. If I am booked, I am committed to working my schedule around the needs of the dog(s) to be home, to walk, to feed, etc. For overnights, my house is a small two-story home. I have a fully fenced yard area, too compact and area for a dog to get up to full speed, but definitely large enough to accommodate a quality case of the zoomies. No dogs in the household (hence the Rover profile!).
About: Hey there! My name is Natasha and I have been an avid dog lover since I was young. My partner and I both WFH and we have a fully fenced in front and backyard for the pups to play and roam. With my 8+ years of dog care experience, it's my pleasure to make our house your dog's favorite home away from home! A little about me: My first dog was a Christmas gift when I was 16. Despite being on crutches, I learned a lot about dog training and care. Fast forward to 7 years ago, I rescued my border collie and trained her to become a service dog. We go everywhere and do (almost) everything together - including taking care of other dogs! I also now have a Foster dog, Ashe, who is very docile, gentle, and sweet. She's just happy to be here! I am also happy to watch your pet(s) at your home as my partner can take care of the gang here at home while I'm away. Whatever works best for you! Either way - your pets will be loved, mentally and physically engaged, and cared for however long you need! I work remote full-time and set my own schedule. Nyla joins me for runs, frisbee sessions at the park, hikes, and fetch 5-6 days a week. After that, it’s all cuddle puddle. We also do some training on our walks for breakfast! We go for a long walk in the morning and evening, with plenty of short breaks throughout the day - or one of the aforementioned activities! Safety is of utmost importance to me. I know many dogs have lots of ways they communicate their boundaries and I keep a close eye for any or all of them your dog may show. We have a fully fenced in front and backyard, a way to divide the two, and live in a residential neighborhood. I work with each pet to learn their comfort level and earn their trust on their terms and timetable. Nyla and our foster are both crate trained so separation is always available if need be!
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and grew up in a home where they were truly part of the family. Over the years, friends and family have trusted me to care for their furry loved ones while they’re away, and I take that responsibility seriously. I also have a dog of my own, Lev, a 6-year-old male who has taught me a lot about patience, communication, and positive reinforcement training. Because Lev can be leash reactive, I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and handling walks calmly and safely. Through consistent positive reinforcement, we’ve built successful and enjoyable walks together. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I always aim to create a safe, positive, and fun experience for every pup in my care. I currently WFH full-time! Afternoon/evenings between 3-7pm on weekdays are ideal times for walks and visits. Weekends would vary, but I have pretty open availability in general! My own pup gets at least three walks a day—a long walk first thing in the morning and another before bed, plus a midday walk for some relief and fresh air. We often go on other adventures, including the beach and the dog park, but this our typical schedule. Because of this routine, I’m very accustomed to walking during high dog-traffic times and always prioritize safe, attentive handling. I stay aware of our surroundings, read dog body language, and use positive reinforcement to keep walks calm, structured, and enjoyable for every pup.

“Daniel took great care of our 75 lbs pit bull, Rosie! He is very comfortable with large breed dogs and Rosie loved him. We booked 3 days in a row and will book again!”

“Sammy went above and beyond during her drop in visits this week with my kitty while I was out of town. She gave me great updates and she had no issues using an inhaler with Benny for the first time. She went overtime during her last visit when Benny had an accident just when she was about to leave my apartment for the final visit. I really appreciate her willingness to clean him and my apartment up as best as she could and to protect my couches from any unwanted stains until I could return. She was very professional about the accident and didn't complain once for having to stay 30 minutes longer. This is why Sammy is my go to sitter!”

About: Not your average dog caretaker! I am a big dog lover! I have experience walking and taking care of dogs, puppies as well as seniors, small, medium sized and with a high energy level. Walking with your dog is not just a good exercise, it is also a good opportunity to show them attention and affection. I take a trust based approach to dogs and make sure they feel safe, happy and loved when they are with me. My goal is to leave you with a happy dog and to leave your dog with a satisfied owner. Animal care is a big part of my daily routine, and I love spending time with dogs. With my flexible schedule, I can provide walks, sitting, and plenty of attention to keep them happy and safe while their owners are away. I provide personalized care, including walks, playtime, feeding, and a safe environment. My husband and I live in a pet friendly, cozy bungalow with a lot of grass areas. Whether in my home or a client’s, I follow their routine to keep pets happy and well cared for.
“Jazmin did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away. She communicated well and sent great photos. She also responded to additional requests promptly. I will be asking for her help in the future!”

About: I had my 16 year old dog Dakota since she was a puppy until she passed away earlier this year and I've fostered multiple senior dogs over the last couple of years for Frosted Faces. I only accept small dogs (under 16lbs) for daycare and boarding with a max of 3 dogs at any given time so you can be sure your dog will get dedicated attention and not be overwhelmed. If you need your dog(s) to be the only one in the home please let me know if the request message. If this is your first time using rover you can sign up via https://www.rover.com/sit/melant42759 or use promo code MELANT42759 for $20 off your first booking. I work full time from home and my schedule is pretty flexible - I can take breaks as needed to take care of the dogs. I live in a one bedroom apartment, there is no fenced in yard but the door always remains closed. I wouldn't take any dogs out without their collar and leash on. There is a set of stairs to get up to my apartment (~12 steps), I can carry dogs up and down if needed. The apartment itself is one level and I have doggy stairs to get on the couch as well as a gate to keep them in a carpeted area if they need that for balance or anything.

“Brenda was very patient with my 2 cats, who had never been left alone before. She took care of everything and I was very happy with the service she provided. Will definitely book again if needed.”

About: Have had family dogs all my life and my little guy for almost 5 years. I know the amount of work and dedication it takes to give them a happy and full life. I have also pet sit for friends both dogs and cats over the years. My friends know I’m someone they can depend on. I work from home primarily east coast hours so can be flexible in the afternoons/evenings. If your home is close can also work around meetings earlier in the day! I want to make sure your pet has a relaxed and comfortable time with me. I personally get pretty anxious when someone is checking in or taking care of my pet so I will do my best to ease that feeling for others.
“Savannah took great care of Maggie and Samba while we were away for the holidays!! Both animals seem seemed very relaxed once we returned. Her Rover cards were informative and she took lots of great pictures!”

I’m so glad Stass and I found Christine! She is so sweet, detailed and communicative. I travel a lot for work, and it brings me such peace of mind to know that Stassi is in great hands while I’m away. I am so grateful for the care and consistent updates she always provides. I 100% recommend her and have even asked to be a recurring client of hers! Thank you so much Christine!

I'm so grateful that Destiny was able to help out when my usual sitter had to cancel last minute! She was very conscientious, taking proactive steps to look after my cat when there was unusually hot weather & other unexpected issues that came up! Thanks again!
It was wonderful to have Ginny come daily in the morning and feed my two cats. One of my cats is way more social than the other, and she was able to get the shy one out and eating while she was there and also pet him. I knew my cats were in compassionate, caring and competent hands.

Brenda is an amazing pet sitter. She is always on time and really cares about pets in her care. She communicates very well and helped with administering medications to my cat. I would highly recommend her and my cat, who was very fond of her, would recommend her as well.

Diesel is currently dealing with old dog vestibular syndrome, so I was pretty nervous about leaving him with a new sitter as my usual one was unavailable. Eric was great! He kept me updated with clear communication, sent plenty of photos, and gave extra care to support Diesel’s condition and progress. He even offered extra drop-ins to make sure Diesel was comfortable. That level of care gave me peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely be booking with Eric again. Highly recommend!

First time Brittany did a drop in for us for our 2 doggies who are very protective and take a while to warm up. Brittany even did a meet and greet prior which was super helpful so she could meet us and the dogs and feel everything out. Brittany’s communication and care is top notch and is truly appreciated.

Everything with Paige was great! When I was out of town it was really hot in San Diego so I asked if she could split my hour up into 2 30 minute visits and she was able to accommodate that to leave the ac on for my cat. I definitely will be booking her again!

Anna was fantastic! She took great care of my cat, Clark, while I was out of town and gave me so much peace of mind. She was reliable, communicative, and sent thoughtful updates and photos after each visit, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure Clark was comfortable and well cared for. Highly recommend!
