We had a sudden and heartbreaking family emergency—a reunion that ended in tragedy, which required a trip to the emergency room where my cell phone was stolen, leaving me with no immediate way to communicate with Cerita, and we even got a flat tire on the way home—and Cerita was a pillar of support and kindness throughout it all. ​She was incredibly understanding, flexible, and communicative, which took a huge weight off our shoulders during a time of great stress and grief.
