About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have been surrounded by them everywhere I go. Whether it’s my own furry family, my relative’s, close friends’, or a stranger’s, I have loved and adored them. As for my personal/professional experience, I have had the pleasure to care for dogs and/or cats that belong to family members and close friends that could be equivalent to about a year. I’m a full time student so I’ll be reducing all of my services to weekends and breaks during the academic year. As for what services and/or days I’m available for, please refer to my calendar as I update my schedule/availability at least once a week. I’m extremely detail oriented, responsible, and trustworthy, so I will take into account and ensure that any of your pet’s needs are met appropriately and to your expectations. I unfortunately cannot offer boarding because I have two senior pups who have anxiety and can be skittish, however, that doesn’t take away from the other services I offer.

About: I've taken care of dogs for around 12 years. My family and I used to rescued/foster dogs from all sorts of paths and I loved every single one of them. I genuinely care for the well being and happiness of dogs. For me, dogs are not just pets, they are family and they deserve nothing but the best! my weekends are pretty cleared up so my schedule is pretty flexible. During the week I am free in the afternoon. I will definitely have lots of time to spend with your pups. I respect client's home and ensure I follow every rule/preference they have. Your dogs will have the best care and love. No missed meals, walks, or love! I will make sure your pups have the attention they need.

About: I have 2 years of experience working at a dog/cat daycare and boarding facility. There I administered feeding and medications to cats and dogs according to owner instructions. I provided enrichment activities, walked dogs on leash to and from kennels and in yards some with barrier reactivity and leash reactivity. I have experience with off-leash dog play, recognizing dog body language and behavior, and providing redirections and intervening when needed. Other than my time there, I have owned both dogs and cats. I currently have a 2 year old pit-bull/staffy mix named Leia and have owned pit-bulls my whole life. I plan on someday becoming a veterinary technician and helping animals in any way I can. I have a pet CPR/first aid certificate and will treat your pet as my own. I just moved to California from Virginia to be with my husband who is stationed here in the Navy, so I am currently in between jobs. My schedule is wide open and I would love to help in any way I can. I cannot currently offer in home services, but I will happily come by and do drop-in visits with your pet and may be open to pet sitting in the future. I am offering dog walking services and I have access to a dog park that I can utilize as well. I have experience bathing dogs and clipping nails and am open to do that for an additional fee. I will provide undivided attention and top of the line care for your fur baby! I have experience feeding and administering medications, recognizing dog and cat body language, walking dogs, and providing off-leash play and enrichment.

About: In addition to having two senior pets and a cat of my own, I currently work as a veterinary assistant at an emergency animal hospital, where I care for pets in urgent situations and have experience recognizing signs of illness, administering treatments and keeping animals calm and comfortable during stressful times. I also previously worked as a client care representative at an animal specialty hospital, where I developed a strong understanding of pet health, client communication, and the importance of compassionate care. Moreover, I volunteer as a dog walker at the San Diego Humane Society and at a pig sanctuary, which has given me experience working with animals of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. Whether I'm caring for a playful puppy who needs consistency and patience or a senior pet who requires a gentler routine and extra attention, I tailor my care to each pet's individual needs. I treat every pet like my own and keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their fur baby is in caring, knowledgeable hands. I am in hospital during the late afternoons and evenings from Sunday through Wednesday. This means I'm available for morning and midday visits on those days, as well as more flexible availability Thursday through Saturday. I keep my Rover calendar up to date and communicate clearly about my availability. When I'm caring for your pet, I make sure they receive the attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection they need while sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. I am willing and receptive to any wishes, rules and specifications when it comes to ensuring the safety and happiness of your fur baby! I encourage communication and would love to share photos and updates of our walks and adventures!

About: Hi there, I’m Maryelle! I’m from Orange County and have been living in San Diego for about 5 years. I am a nurse looking for extra weekend work, and what could be a better side job than working with dogs?! I’ve had dogs in my home since the day I was born, and don’t know a life without my best furry friends! I’ve worked with senior dogs, puppies, and dogs aged all in between. I have several years of experience loving and working with my parents’ dog who has cerebeller abiotrophy, a neurodegenerative disorder that requires him to use a wheelchair. My own pup is a tripod, and he is my angel! I used to volunteer with The Animal Pad, a dog rescue foundation in San Diego, which is also where I ended up rescuing my sweet boy. About: I like to stay fit and I love dogs. So I spend a lot of time outside with dogs where they naturally belong. I’ve had a dogs in my family all my life. I’ve enjoyed training puppies and establishing loving ways of communication. I own a gym and I’m constantly telling my clients “want to get your steps in? Get a dog!” I love being outside and pet care keeps me honest. You will always find me out in the Sun with a doggie. We have a fenced bbq area where we hang out during the day and soak up the sun. At least one hour of sprinting up hills or running at a park with me. As long as we have instructions we can reinforce training commands and tons of playtime.

About: Howdy Rover! Growing up, my family always had cats, cats for days, mom did not have the bandwidth for dog shenanigans. But I have been passionate about canine's from my earliest memories. I have been dogsitting and walking my grandparents dog as well as neighborhood dogs since I was 12. MY first dog, raised from 3 months, is the big handsome purebred German Shepherd seen in my profile photo. Koda was adopted from a breeder in 2020. He's very friendly and well trained. My roommate has another Gshep adopted from a shelter, and an Aussie Shep, so I'm used to VERY high energy and demanding dogs. That said, our home can't accommodate anymore furry friends, so I'm only available for housesitting and visits. Looking forward to meeting your furbabies! At this time my availability is completely open. I happily make this my full-time job if possible. I've been out of formal work for a year due to a slump in the job market. I will do my utmost to ensure your pets are safe, happy, and healthy. I'll evaluate potential hazards in the home before you leave, ensure all special instructions are understood and followed, and give you and your pet the best experience possible. I'll give them the same care and attention I would give to my own.
