“I have had a handful of dog walkers over the years and Missy is by far my favorite. She is extremely detailed in her updates plus the pictures she takes are great. She is communicative and I can tell my pup has a great time with her and her daughters. I highly recommend Missy!”

“Erika did a great job keeping me updated and taking care of the pups. Thank you!”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was about 10 years old. I have two of my own and foster dogs/puppies as well! One of my dogs has epilepsy and congestive heart failure so I have experience with providing medication especially at specific times during the day. My other dog has extreme anxiety and I am familiar with the signs and ways to go about situations with a dog who may be nervous or anxious, or even takes a while to trust. I also have experience with all different behaviors from dogs from getting the opportunity to foster. I am patient, especially with animals that don't trust easily, have anxiety, are timid, or who have had an abusive past etc. I have experience with puppies as small as 6 weeks, and dogs as old as 14! Currently, I have a part time job at a restaurant but my schedule is very flexible. Since it is summer I do not have school at the moment and have a lot of free time that I would love to dedicate to your fur baby/babies!!! As someone with animals of my own and a volunteer foster, I know that pets behaviors and personalities can shift when their owners are away. I want them to be comfortable, trust me, receive lots of love and attention and stay up to their normal routines so that it doesn't feel like too much has changed for them! I will spend quality time with your fur babies and give them plenty of love, as I need some company too!!:) I can send you updates and pictures via text as a way of checking in and updating you on how they are doing! I am using rover for exposure and to get my pet sitting name out there!!

“Kauai is the best! She took very good care of my 10year old black lab while I’ve been out of the country. Her communication is the best and she was very punctual. I trusted her with my key to my place and she did great! She showed Athena so much love and took her on great walk. Best dog sitter around!”

“Evelyn is great! This is our first walk with her and she is very thorough which makes me feel at ease. Dakota loves her!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who've cared for dogs all ages and sizes. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, medication, or just extra snuggles, I treat every pet like family. I’m reliable, patient, and passionate about making sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away! I'm fortunate to be working from home for my job, so my attention is readily available to your pet and being able to stay close them. And without any other responsibilities except for myself and my dog, Mochi, your pet will be my priority as well. I understand the anxiousness, concern, and overall stress leaving your loving pet with anyone. I do with my own dog, so I want to do whatever I can to help reassure you that your pet is my top responsibility for its safety, health and wellbeing. I will take them out as needed to get in steps, fresh air, and to do their business. I also have a large dog potty patch on the balcony to ensure any urgent moments they can be let out to do their business as well. They have full access to my home, whether that's the couch, bed, other dog beds, toys, etc. And my dog is crate trained, while there are multiple rooms that I am able to separate them if necessary. Note that my dog is extremely passive, he is not able to go to dog parks due to others dog bullying him, while he does not prefer to bark or even play with toys (though there are tons of toys available since he doesn't touch all the toys he's gotten over the years). If you need anything, please call or text me any time for updates or inquires. And I will ensure timely updates are providing including photos and videos as you like. Please let me know if your pet has any allergies, temperament concerns, medication needs, or any concerns that I should know about.

About: I’ve been around pets my entire life. I’ve always loved animals. My family members always thought I would be a vet. When I turned 16 I started pet sitting for family and close friends. A few years later I got my first pet care job working in a grooming salon. Throughout the years I’ve had jobs and volunteered in pretty much every pet care industry possible. I’ve worked in boarding facilities, doggie daycares, grooming salons, vet hospitals, animal rescues, dog training and probably more that I’m forgetting. I’m always happiest when I’m around animals. I come with extensive experience in dog and cat care of all ages including the special needs of puppies and seniors. I’m extremely compassionate and always practice positive reinforcement. There are no other methods for me. On my own time I like to research and read about animal behavior and nutrition. I find it extremely fascinating. I understand that leaving your pet is stressful but I’m there to make it a great experience for you and your pet. I treat every animal I come across as if it’s my own and I’m adaptable to any need or situation. I have my own remote business so my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to work around your pet’s routine. I understand some pet parents have unique schedules and I’m confident we can come up with a routine that benefits your pet and you. Currently , I’m unable to bring animals into my home but in your home I will follow your routine and rules. Safety and comfort are two of my highest priorities.

About: With a natural ability to connect with animals, I prioritize safety, fun, and individualized attention. Whether it’s a long walk or cozy cuddle, I’ve got it covered! While I don’t have formal animal training experience, I’m confident in my ability to teach basic commands and obedience. I’ve successfully taught my cats several tricks, like sit, spin and high-five! I’m currently in the military with a very relaxed schedule. I’m available most days of the week after 1 pm. I would also love to visit your pet on the weekends! When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize consistency. I’ll follow your instructions closely, whether it’s sticking to a walk schedule, giving medications, or just providing plenty of playtime and affection! I will treat your home with respect and your furry friend like my own.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes since I can remember, from newborn all the way up to senior pets. I have experience with medications, potty training, heat, etc. I am available all day on for drop ins and walks! I can be flexible with times that you need and work around your schedule! I can keep them company for as long as they need and make sure that they are comfortable and well taken care of before I leave.

About: I’m new to Rover but not new to pet sitting! Ive loved animals my entire life and genuinely enjoy spending time and caring for them. I became a pet sitter in 2022 after subletting someone's home and watching their dog for a month while they were away. Based on their positive experience (and mine!), this individual referred me to their friends, and my client base has grown ever since! What truly sets me apart is that I don’t just care for pets—I also care for their people. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s hands, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will take time to get to know you and your pet so I can ensure we are a good match. I know you’re probably looking for someone with a lot of reviews and ratings, but unfortunately I’m new to Rover and don’t have a ton yet. I’ve asked my current clients outside of Rover to write reviews for me, so please check out my testimonials! I know you want the best for your pet, and I do, too 😊 I work part-time for a consulting firm and have a generally flexible schedule. I can work from home most days, and when I do go into the office, it's usually for about 3-4 hours. I have time to take your dog for long walks and give them plenty of potty breaks. When I'm pet sitting, your pet's well-being is my #1 priority. I also care deeply about your experience and will ensure your home is cared for properly. My goal is to take care of your pet and home exactly the way you would.

“Lauren always does a great job with our difficult bully and senior pug! We are very appreciative for her help and feel confident they are in good hands while she is watching them. We highly recommend Lauren!”

About: My love for animals is something I was born with, as a kid, I had all kinds of pets: dogs, cats, bunnies, rats, turtles, ducks... you name it! Taking care of animals and sharing my love with them is what I enjoy the most. I currently volunteer at two different animal sanctuaries and I'm also part of the Care Team at a dog rescue. This is something that is not only rewarding but it is also a great way to learn from animals and gain experience while doing something I love. I just recently lost Lola, my Pug-Lhasa apso mix, after she had an awesome long life by my side. With Lola, I learned a lot about taking care of senior dogs with different conditions, including mobility issues. Three years before I lost Yuyo, a rescue with some behavior issues we adopted, that little by little, with lots of patience and love became a playful and adventurer doggie that loved hiking and exploring, learning how to enjoy and live a full life. Because I miss Lola and Yuyo so much, and my love for them was so enormous, the animals at the sanctuaries and the doggies at the dog rescue, are still not enough to take all this love from my heart, so I want to share it with your pets too like if they were mine, while I give them the best care for your peace of mind. I currently have plenty of flexibility and will do my best to accommodate your request. I can do walks, visits and house-sitting during weekdays (except Mondays) and most of weekends when requested in advance I can take your dog for walks and/or play time at the area of your preference or my favorite places if that is ok with you. I can play with them at your house or mine during day care and I can take them out to potty as needed/requested.

“Tessa is just the best. Can always count on her to be there on time and provide the best care for our fur baby. She even reached out during a rain storm to let us know she had noticed a leak at our home, put down towels, and even sent us a video so we could assess the issue.”

“Alex helps me with dog walks and kitty drop-ins, and I am so happy to have her! She is a reliable communicator and sitter, and my cat and dog both look forward to hanging out with her :) Thank you, Alex!”

“Karilou is probably the best dog walker Gus and I've had. He adores her. One day I stayed home from work and forgot to contact Karilou. Gus knew she was coming before I did. When she arrived a was so glad because I was too sick to walk Gus. I thought he was going to knock her over he was so happy to see her. Thanks Karilou! I know Gus is always happy to spend time with you!”

About: I am able to take care of tiny and big dogs. My friends and family would always have me take care of their pets when they go on vacation. I love training doggies so if you need some extra help I am more than willing to do so. From healthy to sick pups, I am always giving them my whole hearted attention. I am available from the morning to even night times through out the weekdays and I have some availability weekends. Scheduling in advanced is best for me. But last minute sitting is okay with me. If you need your pups taking care of at crazy hours, I am willing to do so! When it comes to taking care of your pet in your own home, I am respectful of the place and treat it with care. I am a firm believer of leaving as if I weren’t there.

About: Your dog isn’t just a pet—they’re family, and I’ll treat them like my own. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or just loving companionship, I’m here to make tails wag and hearts happy. From playful puppies to sweet seniors, I provide the care, patience, and affection they deserve. While you’re away, I’ll make sure your furry friend feels safe, loved, and right at home! As a ceramic artist, I'm fortunate to work from home, allowing me to share my day with my loyal companion, Nugget. After dropping off my kid at school, Nugget and I start our morning with a refreshing walk. My garage studio is where the creativity happens, and Nugget loves to keep me company, enjoying play breaks throughout the day. To refuel, we head out for another adventure after lunch, ensuring she gets the exercise, love, and attention she deserves. With Nugget by my side, every day is a joy! As a dedicated and passionate pet lover, I prioritize the safety, trust, and well-being of the pets in my care. Whether in my own home or those of my clients, I provide top-notch care tailored to each pet's unique needs. As a sitter and dog walker, I offer: - Personalized attention and playtime - Feeding and administering medication (if needed) - Regular updates for pet owners - Clean and comfortable living spaces I understand that every pet is different, and I'm committed to delivering exceptional care that meets their individual needs. I'm excited to meet your furry friend and provide them with the love and attention they deserve!

“Whitney is phenomenal! She has looked after and walked our dog quite a few times and has taken such wonderful care of her. She is always on time and takes our dog on amazingly long walks which is so appreciated Bc our dog is a husky and has so much energy. We highly recommend her :-) and feel lucky to have someone so trustworthy to watch after our fur baby!”

About: Had my own large special needs dog until he passed at 15.5 years old, and he was my world. I can't get another dog at the moment so I will love your dog instead! I'm great with old or special needs dogs. I am also a long distance runner and can take active dogs on long scenic runs! I work evenings as a restaurant server, and my shifts are typically no more than 5 hours long. I can accommodate your dog outside of this time. I can't accomodate dogs at my house (only in emergencies). However, in your home, your dog will be in great, trustworthy, fun hands! I will make sure they and your home are safe and give your dog the best possible experience while they wait for mom and dad to come home.
