About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of my own and of friends and family since I was a small child. I have worked with many different cats and dogs of all different breeds, shapes, sizes, and I am currently on summer break from medical school, so my schedule is very flexible! As long as I have some advanced notice, I can probably make most times work. Just send me a message! If boarding in my home, your pet will be treated like a member of my family! If in your home, I will be very patient with your pet and make sure they are comfortable with me. I will treat your pet and your home with great care so you have a relaxed setting to come home to!

About: I've owned dogs since childhood, mainly labs and retrievers (+60 lbs). I also have experience walking/sitting for smaller dogs including pugs and doodles. New to the Rover app but I've been around dogs for years, very comfortable with all shapes, sizes and ages! I'm currently employed full-time and am available for walks Friday afternoons and weekends. My own dog gets two walks a day (morning/evening) for a minimum of 30 minutes per walk; I can be flexible with your pet's physical needs in terms of walk length, speed, etc. My lab gets a lot of attention throughout the day. She gets 2 walks a day around my residential neighborhood. I have a large backyard that she has access to 24/7 through her dog door. My home is also well stocked in dog toys and treats, so she stays plenty entertained (and fed!).
About: Hi! I’m a San Diego–based college student who has always loved being around animals. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, my goal is to make your pet feel relaxed, cared for, and at home while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to calm seniors. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m happy to follow specific routines, administer basic medications, and respect each pet’s unique needs. I believe communication is key, so I always provide regular photo and video updates to give you peace of mind. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and care for your furry family member! Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine as a college student. I plan my schedule around my classes, which allows me to be flexible with morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I’m able to provide consistent care for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, and I make sure pets are fed, exercised, and given attention at the same times each day to keep their routine stable. I check my schedule weekly to ensure I can fully commit to each booking, and I prioritize clear communication and reliability so pets and owners can feel confident their care will never be rushed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions closely to ensure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy. I provide feeding and fresh water on schedule, clean litter boxes or cages as needed, and give plenty of attention and playtime tailored to each animal’s personality. I also monitor their behavior, energy levels, and health, noting any changes in appetite, mood, or habits. For pets that require medication, I administer it according to instructions and keep the owner updated. I treat each home and pet with respect, making sure the space stays clean and secure, and I provide regular photo and video updates so owners can feel confident and reassured while they’re away.
About: I have grown up with dogs and cats in my home for all my life. I have been a doggie foster mom for about 10 years and have had the joy to foster about 34 pups throughout that time with half of them being medical fosters needing some extra love and care. I have had a wide age range from senior dogs to puppies and dealt with many different breads. I currently work part time and am a full time student. I have a big gap of time in between my days so would have some time to fit in my schedule. I have a small backyard but have a dog park in my neighborhood. I have one senior dog that is use to having some extra friends around the house. I love taking a stroll around the neighborhood and playing fetch with dogs!

“Due to an injury, living upstairs I’m not supposed to do much of and having to use a cane for awhile, I desperately needed help asap walking my big girl. We are active and usually walk at least two miles twice a day. I came across Daniel’s profile, nervous as I’ve never had anyone but myself walk my sometimes very hard headed strong Cane Corso. I really appreciated that his profile noted that he’s comfortable with bigger breeds and has one of his own. I can’t say enough good things about his work ethic, kindness, gentle demeanor, quick communication, punctuality, professionalism - all of it! Not to mention my dog with some serious separation anxiety by the 3rd morning was up before the alarm in the morning to put on her “necklace” and go walk with her new bestie! She now pouts and looks out the window for an hour after their walks! (ha ha thanks Daniel!) I have booked future walks with full confidence and absolutely no hesitation. I am so very very thankful for his way with my working breed dog and his help!”

About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little. I understand animals' body language and am well-adverse to many unique pet personalities and behaviors. I have experience working with reactive dogs, hyper-activity, Deaf and blind animals (my dog is Deaf and knows sign language!), medication and illness with pets, and more. I'm also understanding of different needs or specific routines to be followed for pets to feel comfortable. Whether your pup needs a walk and the bearded dragon needs to be fed, or the cat needs a clean litter box and the fish tank needs a skim, I'm here for you and all your fur (or scale) babies! My schedule is flexible currently. I recently moved back home to San Diego and have plenty of availability. I do have two large dogs of my own as well as a cat and will need to take care of them as well if house-sitting. I am aware of animals' body language and their need for routine. I will respect this and their specific needs (hand-signals, cue words, walking preferences, etc.). I can co-exist from a distance or offer lots of snuggles and playtime depending on your pets preferences. I can provide baths and maintain training if you're working on house training or pulling while walking.
“Shay was absolutely phenomenal—truly one of the best sitters we’ve ever worked with! Our dog is very shy and nervous around new people, but Shay was so patient, gentle, and intuitive that he quickly warmed up to her and felt completely safe and at ease. That alone meant the world to us. She followed our (very detailed!) instructions perfectly and treated our home with the utmost care and respect, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does and goes above and beyond for both pets and their owners. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Shay and will 100% be booking with her again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!”

“I have only had Hayden walk my dogs once but he is scheduled to walk them on a weekly basis. He was very prompt in coming to my home to meet me and the dogs and seemed comfortable with them. After the walk he left comments about both dogs which I appreciate. I look forward to a longer relationship with Hayden and my dogs.”

“Irena is so wonderful! My dog absolutely fell in love with Irena. My dog oesnt usually take up with new people. She met Irena like She's known her forever. It was such a relief to know my dog was in good hands.”

“Evelyn was extremely professional and communicative while caring for my pups. I needed somewhat last-minute care, and she helped me out and made me feel at ease. Both of my dogs were happy after her visits too!”

About: I've grown up my entire life around dogs and I would love to care for your dog(s)! I am fully available before and after I work to stay with or check up on your four legged family members. I've worked part - time as a pet groomer in the past and I've trained my own dogs over the years, so I know how to properly care for and treat furry friends. I have personally had 4 dogs and cared for many others, so I've encountered many different dog personalities and breeds and I've loved them all the same. I understand daily routines, exercise needs, feeding schedules, and basic behavior cues. I’ve also cared for family members’ cats, including feeding, litter care, and providing attention and enrichment. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize safety, structure, and affection. I communicate clearly with owners by phone and love sending updates and photos so you always know your pets are safe and enjoying their day.
About: I’ve cared for dogs in both my home and clients’ homes, offering drop-in visits and regular walks. Though I’m still building experience in puppy training, I approach every dog with patience, consistency, and genuine love for their well-being. I am available 6 days a week from 10/11am to 9/10pm, depending on my schedule changes. I am a part time college student but I am very free and open. Pets are only allowed on the patio when I’m outside with them, ensuring their safety at all times. During walks, I prioritize safety by keeping dogs securely leashed, avoiding high-traffic areas, and staying alert to their surroundings. I’m diligent about following each owner’s rules and routines to provide consistent, reliable care and peace of mind.
About: Certified dog trainer by the Japan Kennel Club with 20 years of experience. With a strong background in canine care and training, I served as a teaching assistant in dog trainer programs at a vocational school in Japan, where I managed a wide range of dogs. I also earned a certificate after completing the dog behaviorist program in Japan, which deepened my understanding of canine psychology and behavior. I am also a lifelong dog lover with personal experience raising dogs, including caring for senior dogs. This hands-on experience has given me a deeper appreciation for the emotional and physical needs of dogs at every stage of life. Since my availability as a dog walker may vary depending on the time and circumstances, I plan to update my schedule regularly. However, the usual schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00PM. I believe every dog deserves a walk that matches their needs. I thoughtfully choose safe paths based on their age and health, making sure they feel happy and cared for.
About: Hi, I'm Stella! Thank you for checking out my profile. Here's a little bit about me: 🐱 My cat Mr. Wigglesworth is the one who started all of this. He came to my partner's life starved, fleas, and smelling like garbage because he was thrown out. Even with a past like that, he showed me that cats aren't scary or mean. They just want to be loved. He changed everything for me. 🐶 And then Bingi sealed the deal. Wiggles is my indoor self and Bingi is my outdoor self and so together, they basically sum up my whole personality. 😄 🏡 When I come by for a drop-in, I'm not rushing in and out. I'm there to make sure your pet feels cared for. They are always fed, watered, cleaned up after, and most importantly, not lonely. The shy to eccentric playtime, the meows for treats, the "sitting-on-the-floor-letting-them-climb-all-over-me" part? That's my favorite part. Friendly or Spicy. Love them all. 🐾 I've cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, fish and honestly whatever else you've got going on at home. I'm not easily surprised 💊 I have experience with senior pets, puppies, anxious animals, and medication administration. 🌟 I use positive reinforcement only because every animal deserves to feel safe and respected. 📸 I take looooots of photos and videos! I will be in the weirdest positions just to get that perfect shot. You're going to get updates that make you smile in the middle of whatever you're doing. Typical Drop-In Routine: - Cleaning - Potty Time - Food - Water - Playtime / treats - Crate (if applicable) Send me a message and let's set up a meet and greet! :) ⏰ Time Availability: Monday to Friday - Open Saturday - Open Sunday - Open, except 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM *I work from home majority of the time. However, I may have to go to the office for a week. I will communicate with you if your booking coincides with my office week. ❤️ Safety First!: A meet and greet comes first! I take notes, ask questions, and make sure I know your pet's routine and personality before anything else! During visits, I follow your instructions closely, keep everything clean and tidy, and treat your home with the same respect as my own. Anxious or reactive pets are always handled with extra patience and care. Also, I'm the type to double-check the doors are closed!

I currently have two dogs of my own, and I understand the importance of providing them with attention, love and proper care. In addition to caring for my own pets, I volunteered at the Humane Society during High School, gaining hands-on experience with a variety of animals and learning how to meet their unique needs. “Honestly so happy that Jana was able to fit us in last minute. Moose loved her and I was glad I didn’t have to worry about him while I was at a work event. Would definitely recommend her to my friends who are pet parents in the area”

Serra Mesa dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ana is an absolutely incredible dog walker who is consistently punctual, highly communicative, and wonderfully reliable. She has a natural gift with animals, and our pup lights up with joy every single time she arrives. If you are looking for someone who provides top-notch care and total peace of mind, Ana is the perfect choice!

Sarah was amazing with my two pitbulls! She was communicative, reliable, and kept me updated with photos and videos. She took great care of my dogs and made me feel completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. My doggies absolutely loved her, and I could tell they were happy and comfortable with her. I look forward to booking with her again! 🐾💕

Tina has been an excellent walker for my older dog, Charlotte. I am chronically ill and housebound right now. I have my dog walked 3x a day. Sometimes walkers can’t cover their walks or cancel last minute. Tina has subbed in for almost all of the walks I’ve offered her outright. She has shown up for every last minute walk for which I needed coverage. My dog is a special needs dog, and Tina has been very good at following my requests on how my dog’s walk needs to be limited or otherwise. I would definitely recommend her!
