“I have only had Hayden walk my dogs once but he is scheduled to walk them on a weekly basis. He was very prompt in coming to my home to meet me and the dogs and seemed comfortable with them. After the walk he left comments about both dogs which I appreciate. I look forward to a longer relationship with Hayden and my dogs.”

About: I've owned dogs since childhood, mainly labs and retrievers (+60 lbs). I also have experience walking/sitting for smaller dogs including pugs and doodles. New to the Rover app but I've been around dogs for years, very comfortable with all shapes, sizes and ages! I'm currently employed full-time and am available for walks Friday afternoons and weekends. My own dog gets two walks a day (morning/evening) for a minimum of 30 minutes per walk; I can be flexible with your pet's physical needs in terms of walk length, speed, etc. My lab gets a lot of attention throughout the day. She gets 2 walks a day around my residential neighborhood. I have a large backyard that she has access to 24/7 through her dog door. My home is also well stocked in dog toys and treats, so she stays plenty entertained (and fed!).

I can work through my schedule to take care of your dog. I can do weekdays and weekends. I have two dogs who I care for at home with walking them in my neighborhood and taking them to the dog park. “We appreciate Jacob! He has been a very dependable dog walker. He follows directions and really cares about his clients. Our dog Ollie, loves his outings with Jacob. He is a high energy dog and comes back from his runs so happy and satisfied. Jacob is truly a 5 star dog walker!”

About: I've grown up my entire life around dogs and I would love to care for your dog(s)! I would love the opportunity to check up on or walk your four legged family members! I've worked part - time as a pet groomer in the past and I've trained my own dogs over the years, so I know how to properly care for and treat furry friends. I have personally had 5 dogs, one cat, and I’ve cared for many others, so I have encountered many different personalities and breeds and I've loved them all the same. Trusting me with your pet is ensuring that they will be treated, respected and cared for just the same as my own pets. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your babies!
“Kiera is wonderfully responsive, professional, and so so sweet to our four-legged child. She helped us out so much by walking our Doberman 5 days a week for 10 weeks straight without fail! THANK YOU KIERA! If I could tip you a million dollars I would!”

“Evelyn was extremely professional and communicative while caring for my pups. I needed somewhat last-minute care, and she helped me out and made me feel at ease. Both of my dogs were happy after her visits too!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs in both my home and clients’ homes, offering drop-in visits and regular walks. Though I’m still building experience in puppy training, I approach every dog with patience, consistency, and genuine love for their well-being. I am available 6 days a week from 10/11am to 9/10pm, depending on my schedule changes. I am a part time college student but I am very free and open. Pets are only allowed on the patio when I’m outside with them, ensuring their safety at all times. During walks, I prioritize safety by keeping dogs securely leashed, avoiding high-traffic areas, and staying alert to their surroundings. I’m diligent about following each owner’s rules and routines to provide consistent, reliable care and peace of mind.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid and have hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve owned and cared for Dalmatians, Pit Bulls, Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Doberman Pinschers, so I’m comfortable with everything from high-energy working dogs to small companion breeds. I understand daily routines, exercise needs, feeding schedules, and basic behavior cues. I’ve also cared for family members’ cats, including feeding, litter care, and providing attention and enrichment. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize safety, structure, and affection. As a U.S. Air Force veteran and full-time engineering student, discipline and dependability are built into everything I do — including how I care for your pets. I’m available all day Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with limited availability on Tuesday and Thursday mornings due to class (7:55 AM–12:45 PM). My days start at 5–6 AM, so your pets get an energetic, attentive caregiver from the moment the day begins — flexible, dependable, and genuinely invested in their well-being. I prioritize your pets’ safety and comfort at all times. I maintain a clean, secure, and calm environment and make sure pets feel happy and cared for. I communicate clearly with owners by phone and love sending updates and photos so you always know your pets are safe and enjoying their day.

“Due to an injury, living upstairs I’m not supposed to do much of and having to use a cane for awhile, I desperately needed help asap walking my big girl. We are active and usually walk at least two miles twice a day. I came across Daniel’s profile, nervous as I’ve never had anyone but myself walk my sometimes very hard headed strong Cane Corso. I really appreciated that his profile noted that he’s comfortable with bigger breeds and has one of his own. I can’t say enough good things about his work ethic, kindness, gentle demeanor, quick communication, punctuality, professionalism - all of it! Not to mention my dog with some serious separation anxiety by the 3rd morning was up before the alarm in the morning to put on her “necklace” and go walk with her new bestie! She now pouts and looks out the window for an hour after their walks! (ha ha thanks Daniel!) I have booked future walks with full confidence and absolutely no hesitation. I am so very very thankful for his way with my working breed dog and his help!”

“Shay was absolutely phenomenal—truly one of the best sitters we’ve ever worked with! Our dog is very shy and nervous around new people, but Shay was so patient, gentle, and intuitive that he quickly warmed up to her and felt completely safe and at ease. That alone meant the world to us. She followed our (very detailed!) instructions perfectly and treated our home with the utmost care and respect, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does and goes above and beyond for both pets and their owners. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Shay and will 100% be booking with her again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!”

About: Certified dog trainer by the Japan Kennel Club with 20 years of experience. With a strong background in canine care and training, I served as a teaching assistant in dog trainer programs at a vocational school in Japan, where I managed a wide range of dogs. I also earned a certificate after completing the dog behaviorist program in Japan, which deepened my understanding of canine psychology and behavior. I am also a lifelong dog lover with personal experience raising dogs, including caring for senior dogs. This hands-on experience has given me a deeper appreciation for the emotional and physical needs of dogs at every stage of life. Since my availability as a dog walker may vary depending on the time and circumstances, I plan to update my schedule regularly. However, the usual schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00PM. I believe every dog deserves a walk that matches their needs. I thoughtfully choose safe paths based on their age and health, making sure they feel happy and cared for.
About: Hi! I’m a San Diego–based college student who has always loved being around animals. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, my goal is to make your pet feel relaxed, cared for, and at home while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to calm seniors. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m happy to follow specific routines, administer basic medications, and respect each pet’s unique needs. I believe communication is key, so I always provide regular photo and video updates to give you peace of mind. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and care for your furry family member! Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine as a college student. I plan my schedule around my classes, which allows me to be flexible with morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I’m able to provide consistent care for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, and I make sure pets are fed, exercised, and given attention at the same times each day to keep their routine stable. I check my schedule weekly to ensure I can fully commit to each booking, and I prioritize clear communication and reliability so pets and owners can feel confident their care will never be rushed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions closely to ensure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy. I provide feeding and fresh water on schedule, clean litter boxes or cages as needed, and give plenty of attention and playtime tailored to each animal’s personality. I also monitor their behavior, energy levels, and health, noting any changes in appetite, mood, or habits. For pets that require medication, I administer it according to instructions and keep the owner updated. I treat each home and pet with respect, making sure the space stays clean and secure, and I provide regular photo and video updates so owners can feel confident and reassured while they’re away.
About: I am a certified massage therapist (cert#: 77139) with a specialty in canine and feline functional massage therapy which I will gladly add to your service free of charge if requested! I have had over 25 years of animal care and experience, growing up, my Mom always had multiple dogs in the house where we did everything from basic care, walking, cleaning to even helping them give birth to their pups. My parents upgraded to a small farm when I was a teenager where we all pitched in with the 12 dogs, 25 goats, 2 mini donkeys, chickens, pigs, cats, birds and most recently hairless guinea pigs! I now live away from the farm in Serra Mesa but I still have a passion for animals. We do not have pets in our home at the moment so there is no chance of your pet not getting along with another animal. We keep a clean, tranquil home and there is always someone home to keep a close eye on your pet :) I am looking forward to meeting you & your awesome animal! I make my own hours as a massage therapist & am also a surrogate so I am not working as many hours. I am home most days of the week. I will have plenty of time to care for your animal and get them outside, going on walks for plenty of sunshine :) I have a ground floor fenced in balcony but am frequently taking my kids to the park and am open to going to dog beach or dog parks if requested. Your pet will have a lot of fun, care and attention!
About: Growing up with bully breed dogs taught me patience, confidence, and how to handle big love (and bigger cuddles!). I also used to volunteer at an animal shelter, giving every pet the care and comfort they deserved. 🐶💖 I’m flexible during the weekends! Your pet’s care always comes first—I’ll work with your schedule and needs! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, I am here for you and your baby 🫶🏽☺️ Safety and snuggles come first! 🐾 I treat every pet like my own—making sure they’re happy, comfy, and cared for every step of the way. You can trust me for belly rubs, safe walks, and endless tail wags! 💕
About: Greetings, I am Ellen (and Zopa), your trusted and experienced dog sitter. Warning: Your dog will be spoilt with kisses, walks and snooggles! My husband and I grew up with dogs all our lives and have taken care of pups ranges from 2 months to 16 years old. I work from home full time so I will be home with your fur bebe during the day as well. We have a fur bebe of our own, Zopa, 9 yo gentle Lab Mix and he is both people and dog-friendly; except for unneutered male pups (sorry, we tried with a meet up, and no go with the Zopa) Zopa is not possessive with his toys; so our doggo toy box is available for your pup as well. We have a large fenced backyard overlooking a canyon; this is where Zopa normally sunbathe and nap during the day or stretch his legs in between naps, snacks and walk breaks. During hot days, air conditioning is available and usually on. (Our late bulldog used to cycle between the AC and covered backyard area in the summer 🥰) We do not discriminate against any dog breed although I require a meet-up prior to booking to ensure everything is good with Zopa, your pup, us and so that you feel more comfortable trusting your fur bebe with us. Nothing make me happier but to give your dog a comfortable stay - a home away from home with loads of love, kisses and pampering while keeping them safe so you can focus on your trip. WFH Full Time - Flexible Schedule I work from home full time. I’m flexible with your pet needs, such as feeding time, walk schedules, heat sensitivity, food allergy, etc. I’ll update you with pics and/or videos as often as you would like; usually around 3 times per day on average. (Including tagging you or your fur baby’s ig account 😊) Weekday Routine Neighborhood walks or park trips 2 times a day are Zopa’s jam; once in the AM and once in the PM. We are early risers especially on weekdays - Zopa and I usually complete our morning rituals including breffast and AM neighborhood walk by 7:30-8 AM. In the summer, early walks will commence to avoid heat and PM walk is usually a little later depending on temperature of the day. (dogs can burn their paws on hot surfaces e.g. asphalt) Our backyard access is available at all times from inside the house so the pups can choose whether to chill inside or outside. Weekend Routine I usually take Zopa for a longer walk, for a chill hike, or dog park fun times in the weekend. (Balboa park, Grape Street Park, Civita Park are some of the parks we normally frequent) Sometimes, Zopa is out shopping with me (Nordstrom sales people are his besties), or to dog-friendly restaurant / breweries around San Diego as well. We usually end the night with chill time in our backyard. Your fur baby will be like my fur baby as well with access to fully fenced backyard, a furry super chill brother, plus safe and fun home 🏠. I prefer boarding in my own home. If your fur baby has heat sensitivity (e.g. bulldogs, Samoyed, husky) we turn on our air conditioner and fans when it’s hot. Let us know what your fur Bebe’s fave things are and their routine; we can adjust accordingly.

It was my first time using Rover, and I’m so glad I found Daniel for dog-walking services! I was out of town for 6 days and needed assistance with 3 walks per day. Daniel was punctual, communicative, and super-friendly. My dog connected with him instantly, and I will definitely be rebooking Daniel for my future needs!

Jesselle is a lovely person and dog walker! Due to an injury, I booked her for a week to help me out in the morning with my sometimes stubborn separation anxiety type Corso. Being as Jesselle had listed she has large dog experience, I felt more confident she would be able to handle my dog. She is very sweet, very kind, on time professional and my dog absolutely loved her after the very first day. Made me feel so much more confident as I navigated the help that I needed. I am very thankful and appreciated of her and highly recommend her.

Jacqueline was wonderful with my dogs! Always on time, super friendly, and easy to communicate with. My pups absolutely loved her and were always excited to see her. It gave me peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind dog walker.
