“Maria did drop-in visits for our 5 y.o. cat while we were away for a couple weeks, and she was wonderful! She tended to all of our precious girl’s needs (and she can be very needy), and kept her happy and active while we were out. I’d highly recommend Maria for cat-sitting needs.”

About: Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and have loved animals. I got a dog of my own at 7 years old, my first dog when I was seven years old, but I began caring for other dogs five years ago. I've walked and cared for dogs of all ages and I'm excited to meet you and your pet! I'm working this summer, but I'll still have plenty of time to play with your pups! In terms of pet sitting, I am available for both routine visits and overnight stays (in your house). As long as it does not interfere with work, I am relatively flexible with walking times. Weekends are also fairly open for me! I'll treat your dog and home as if they were mine! When putting your dog out, I'll make sure the backyard gates are shut, the doors to your home are always locked, that your dog is getting more than enough walks and exercise, and that they're never thirsty or hungry!

About: I have had animals my whole life. Dogs, horses, hamsters and even a rat. I am the go-to person for our family and friends when they need care for their dogs. Our family has an Australian Shepherd with very strong protection instincts and a Shih tzu with very strong sleeping instincts! I rode horses competitively until I was 15 and was hired to care for many horses at our barn while people were on vacation or unable to tend to their horse's exercise, feeding and medication needs. I am a senior at Poway High School and I am available Monday through Friday after 1:30 pm. My schedule on the weekend is flexible. If I am dropping in to check on your pet I always check house temperature, water and food. I am very familiar with crate training.

“This was our second time booking with Tiffany and she was amazing with our kitty Miso. She sent very detailed summaries/picturez about her visits and was very in tune with how miso was feeling. She left our place very clean and went above and beyond for our girl. We hate leaving Miso at home, but knowing Tiffany will be there to check on her always makes us feel so at ease.”

“For the cat lovers: Now I know the Rover is geared towards people who own dogs but if you own a cat and are looking for a reliable, friendly and attentive sitter, look no further, Ella is fantastic! I had searched and looked through the reviews of close to 50 different sitters and I am so happy that I found Ella. She attended to all my cat’s needs and took the time to just hang out with him and play. I received daily pictures, and updates about their day together. I think he already misses her! LOL! Thank you so much for taking such good care of him! I recommend Ella for any one looking for a pet sitter… she won’t disappoint. I definitely will be contacting her again.”

“Emily “Paige” was a great caretaker for our cats. She provided us ample pictures and communication and was very flexible when our travel plans at the last minute. Will be requesting her for our future needs!”

Sabre Springs pet parents share their Rover experiences
Nadya is both intelligent and conscientious. It was easy to tell she followed instructions for pet care, including multiple medicines. She also handled problems that wouldn’t normally be a pet sitter’s responsibility: the carbon monoxide detector that died, and kitchen counter cleaning to defeat the ants that tried to move in. Our dogs and kitchen were in great condition when we returned home.

Avery was amazing! I booked her for my newly adopted cat, and additionally it was my first time leaving her alone, and Avery's patience with her shyness and fear was truly amazing. She got her to open up and come out of her shell, which I didn't think would happen, and took care of her in exactly the way I asked. Truly couldn't have been a better experience. Highly recommend!

Sarah was amazing with my two cats! From the moment I met her, her calm and kind energy set all of us at ease. My high energy cat and fluffy scaredy cat both took to her immediately. She was caring, on time, sent cutest pictures and left the house tidy. I would recommend her to all my friends!

Carly was awesome! Came over a few days in advance to meet the cats and hear the set up for the five days we were gone. We had no worries while we were away with Carly checking in on them and keeping their litter boxes clean and waters stocked. She sent a picture of both of them each check in and was communicative and reliable. Thanks Carly! Would definitely book again 😸😸

Emily did an AMAZING job caring for our dog and cat. She was very thorough in following our requested guidance and our animals were very well loved in her care. She also was a great communicator about when she would be coming by and took lots of photos. Everyone was very happy when we got back home. Thanks, Emily!

Maria was absolutely incredible! She took care of our shy kitty for 3 days. She went above and beyond in every way. Maria took the time to send us thoughtful updates and gave our cat the care he needed. We came home to a content cat and everything in perfect order. She even brought in our Amazon packages. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, kind and truly exceptional.
