“Kaylan was the absolute perfect match for us and our fur babies! When she took the job, we explained that one of our pups, Charlie, is a little "special" and requires extra patience, constant redirection, and plenty of treat bribes. Managing four dogs is no small feat, but Kaylan went above and beyond. She was incredibly transparent, informative, and deeply caring with Charlie, Kona, William, and Quinnie. Right from our initial meet-and-greet, her energy and confidence put me completely at ease about leaving them while we went on vacation. Over the course of her six visits, she kept us updated with multiple texts, photos, and peace-of-mind check-ins. At one point, when the treats started running low, she gladly offered to run out and grab more—an extra step I was incredibly grateful for. I can’t express how thankful I am for Kaylan. If your dog is reactive, you’re in good hands. I’ve had two reactive dogs of my own, so I know how to stay calm, read the signs, and move them away from triggers before things get to be too much. About: Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and have loved animals. I got a dog of my own at 7 years old, my first dog when I was seven years old, but I began caring for other dogs five years ago. I've walked and cared for dogs of all ages and  I'm excited to meet you and your pet! I'm working this summer, but I'll still have plenty of time to play with your pups! In terms of pet sitting, I am available for both routine visits and overnight stays (in your house). As long as it does not interfere with work, I am relatively flexible with walking times. Weekends are also fairly open for me! I'll treat your dog and home as if they were mine! When putting your dog out, I'll make sure the backyard gates are shut, the doors to your home are always locked, that your dog is getting more than enough walks and exercise, and that they're never thirsty or hungry!

We reached out on fairly short notice, and she was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with from the start. She was professional, reliable, and very kind throughout the entire week. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over 20 years of hands on experience caring for them. I have cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family and always provide plenty of playtime, cuddles, and updates. I currently don’t work so I am free besides on school days, even then I’m only gone for about 4 hours so I’m never leaving the dogs alone for too long. I have my own 3 dogs at home but if needed they can stay in their crate. I usually keep mine in theirs when I’m gone because they can get a bit mischievous, I also have a play pen in case your fur baby doesn’t like crates but also have an extra one if you’re okay with them being in one.

About: I’ve taking care of many animals, puppy to old. I’ve trained my Akita since she was a puppy and know what it takes to care for stubborn dogs. I’m very attentive and will always make sure the animal comes first. I currently work a full time job but it’s fairly flexible when it comes to tasks I need to complete. On top of working full time I am also very excited to work extra hours because I love staying busy and being around animals! I make sure they always have fresh water and make sure the dog has everything they need right as I get there. As I’m leaving, I make sure to clean up after not only myself and the dog, but also make sure I tidy up a space better than I found it!

I can’t work with cats as much family has a history of cat allergies. I grew up with dogs and cats in my home my entire life, and look forward to having more animals in my life again. I am more than happy to watch a dog from my own home - can pick the dog up from your home/work/or public place. Or you can drop the dog off and take a peak at my setup. I live in a spacious 1500 SF 3 bedroom loft, with lots of space to play. I would love to watch your animals in the comfort of their own home as well. Some animals have separation anxiety and I realize taking them out of their usual space may not be an option, or easy. Our friends need a little more attention, so play dates and walks are great ways to help keep them active while you are running errands or need to step out. Just like humans, every dog is different. The dogs we had in our home growing up were fosters that we watched until they could be placed permanently, so I've been exposed to a wide variety of sizes, temperaments, and lets face it ATTITUDES! Attention to detail and a deep passion for what I am doing is what helps me mesh so well with all kinds of critters.
