“Nadya was an excellent pet sitter! She was very communicative and went above and beyond by checking in on my chickens and tortoise. Her reliability and responsibility gave me peace of mind while I was away, knowing my pets were well cared for with daily visits. Highly recommend!”

“Verona was absolutely incredible with my dog Luca! She was able to help us out pretty short notice and come take care of my pup for an hour, 3X per day! She would often come early and leave late, play ball (fetch), go for long walks, make sure he was eating & drinking water, etc. She truly cares about dogs and it shows. She also keeps in constant contact, and keeps great notes, which helps ease your mind while traveling. Do not hesitate to book Verona, she’s amazing! 10/10!”

About: Growing up my family has always had cats and dogs, as well as chickens, horses, goats, and ducks! I’ve made it a hobby of mine to study and understand the body language and communication of dogs and cats, as one of the best ways to understand our pets is to understand their language and how they communicate with us and others. I have a 6 year old Golden Retriever who I’ve had since he was 11 weeks old, so I understand the level of care required for young puppies, adolescent dogs, and the mature adult. Cooper has had two cruciate ligament repairs (TPLO) in his hind legs so I have extensive understanding of post-operative recovery for dogs from major surgery. I like to practice obedience and mindfulness with Cooper and have successfully taught him many obedience commands, recall, and practicing loose leash walking and neutrality while we’re out. I have helped out family with senior dogs and cats so I understand the unique care requirements they have. I have two cats, Pacha and Kiki, that are strictly indoor cats and have raised them since they were kittens. I have experience giving medication through eyes, ears, mouth, and topically. When I give walks, as a safety protocol I do not let other dogs approach me for meet and greets and visa-versa. I am very comfortable walking dogs on a flat collar, martingale collar, slip lead, prong collar, and well fitted harnesses, as well as the use of muzzles and e-collars. Additionally, I do not walk large dogs on a “flexi” lead (retractable leash) or back clip harnesses for the safety of myself and others. I’m currently on summer break from my undergraduate studies at San Diego State University. So I have plenty of time to care for both my pets and your pets! I do have a Saturday morning commitment to my beach volleyball league from 10 am to 12 pm at Ocean Beach. All of my pets get portion-controlled scheduled feedings morning and night. Water is replaced and litter boxes cleaned daily. I like to give both my dog and cats mental enrichment either through food toys or scent work games. I’m very flexible and can adjust to the care needs of your pet. I have experience feeding kibble, wet food, fresh food, and raw food, as well as free feeding. When meeting new pets I like to be as neutral and calm as possible while being observant of your pets body language towards me and around you. To ensure your pet has the most comfortable and stress free experience, I like to meet and greet at the pets pace and will not pressure your pet for interaction. I you do not allow certain habits, such as jumping and mouthiness, I am happy to follow your guidelines.

“Maria did drop-in visits for our 5 y.o. cat while we were away for a couple weeks, and she was wonderful! She tended to all of our precious girl’s needs (and she can be very needy), and kept her happy and active while we were out. I’d highly recommend Maria for cat-sitting needs.”

“Heather is definitely a great cat sitter! She not only takes good care of Mochi, but also helps me maintain my home well. I can feel that Mochi likes Heather very much.😄 100% recommend her.👍”

About: We are a husband and wife team who love furry companions! We've both been doggy parents since we were kids. Most were raised from puppies. We've also had bunnies, birds, fish, turtles and chickens, whew! We haven't had a dog since we lost our beloved black lab. The heartbreak is real! We miss the companionship animals bring so nowadays, we are aunts and uncles to our friends' dogs. We regularly care for a senior dog who requires medication twice a day. With two sitters, you can be assured that your pet will receive all the attention they need and deserve. We run a home-based business so our time is very flexible and we can tailor our schedule around your and your dog's needs. During weekends and holidays, our two daughters are willing and able to offer additional cuddles and belly rubs. We live in a house with a fenced yard, in a gated community. Our neighborhood is quiet and very dog friendly. For house sitting clients, we will always respect your home and your pets as if they were our own. We would like to meet you and your fur babies prior to all bookings. It's important to us that we're a good match to one another.

About: Hi, we are Anthony and Kylie! We are HUGE dog lovers who figured we could use Rover to help our military family of 6 with a little extra income while also getting to meet and love on doggies without having to buy any more 😂 Anthony works nights and Kylie works from home, so there is plenty of time during the day for play, walks, adventures, and cuddles! We have 2 heelers (Tizzy and Giulia) LOVE other dogs and want nothing more than to have friends to play with. Tizzy and Giulia have been with us since 8 weeks old and are both command trained and off leash trained (by Kylie, who has worked with a professional trainer to help train her dogs in the past and absorbed as much information as possible). Our house can accommodate special requests such as separate eating areas, seclusion if needed for special care, and there are no stairs to get into the house in case a senior pup needs an easy entry. Kylie works from home and Anthony works nights, so our schedule is really flexible to accommodate multiple walks and potty breaks a day! Our dogs are kenneled if we ever need to leave, so your pup can either also be kenneled or can have free roam of the house. We go for walks and potty breaks, lounge on the couch, and play in the unfenced backyard. We have baby gates for secluded feeding and free access to water always. Dog beds for comfort and crates for dogs who are trained. In the client’s home, I care for pets exactly how the owners ask. I take care of business like feeding and then make a point to devote plenty of time to play, pets, etc. if the pets desire!

“Nicole was great! She was super friendly and easy to work with. Our cats were well taken care of and she provided daily updates which we appreciated. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a great pet sitter!”

“I trust Tuan with my dog a lot and he has been so great! He is my go to when I need a sitter or a drop in. He is very respectful of my home and my dog. Highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up around dogs since I was a kid and absolutely love them. Currently I have a 2 year old pawfect Goldendoodle - Dobby. He is very friendly and playful and will keep your dog good company. I have experience in training puppies as I trained my dog since he was a puppy. I can administer medicines too, if required as per schedule. I have experience in fostering as well where my goal is to find forever homes for the furry friends and usually work with the local Adoption agency. My daily routine includes going on walks, regular breaks and proper feeding as per the schedule. I take my pet to the dog park a few times in a week so that he gets the required exercise and gets to play with other dogs freely. I work from home and I will provide dedicated care for your pet, ensuring their comfort and happiness. I have a dog bed in each room and lots of toys to play with. I will take care of your pet as my own.

About: Recently moved back into the San Diego area and excited to start dog sitting again! :) I joined Rover to feel all the joys of having a dog at home since I don’t have one of my own, while giving pet owners a much deserved break. I work remotely in cybersecurity, so it’s easy for me to find time to step away for potty breaks or short walks throughout the day. I don’t need to leave the home often because of my job so if your dog can’t be alone for long I’m a great fit. I keep just one dog at a time in my home so I can give my full attention to that pup. I live in a safe neighborhood that’s a bit far inland but is great for taking dogs out on walks.

About: I have many years of experience with all kinds of animals! Friends often ask me, as their go-to, for pet sitting. Multiple dogs at once, dogs and cats together in the same house, etc. I am currently a weekly dog sitter and walker for my best friend for over a year now! I received a liver transplant that saved my life almost two years ago, and walking was and has been a great recovery activity for me, especially when dogs are included. :) I currently have lots of time to spare! Interacting with animals and being outside is very important to me to lead a joyful life. I have very open availability, especially during the week. I am experienced with crate trained dogs, but I do keep them out the entirety that I am with them and try to provide an engaging interaction with your pets! I understand how important it is to provide your animals with stimulation!

“Kelcy is the best! She checked in on my pup several times. My pup loved her, and got a ton of attention. I would definitely recommend Kelcy to a anyone.”

About: I have had dogs all my life, from big Golden Retrievers to little Golden Doodles. I truly love dogs and desire for them to have a fun, joy filled life. I currently walk our family dog multiple times a day, and am responsible for feedings and giving him treats. I also take frequent outings with my dog whether it is to the beach or on a hike. I am careful to ensure my pet gets all it needs from walks, to meals, and attention. Pets truly value attention and it is something I know I can give them.

“Avery was so great with Harry! Super friendly, great communication and lots of cute pictures. I had peace of mind while on vacation and I’m very thankful I found her. Thank you Avery!”

About: I’ve been petsitting/housesitting for 7 years in San Diego CA and when I travel for petsitting. My experience with animals ranges from a wide variety of chickens, goats, pigs, a pet cow, horses, lizards, snakes and turtles as well as; cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes I am available most weekdays for drop ins and walks; with limited weekend availability depending on the week. If my schedule shows I am available through the weekend, then I am! Please keep in mind for overnight care due to personal and professional commitments I may need to be away from the home for 6-8 hours. Generally included in my overnight care is 14-16 hours of care including the overnight. Accommodations can be prearranged of course if needs are greater than this and I have availability. Safety is very important to me as well as keeping the animals safe. I expect that all dogs and cats I care for to be non aggressive and properly trained to be safe to all in public. If they are not I require that it be disclosed in full and discussed with me prior to the sit, drop in, or walking; I am familiar with and can accommodate almost all behaviors but I do require it to be disclosed before proceeding. My priority is the comfort of your pet within their environment as well as the safety of all within that environment including your pet. If there are any quirks or triggers that your pets exhibit it is expected that they be disclosed when booking a walk, drop in or house sit as they can be accommodated if they are disclosed before the walk/visit. Please disclose if your cat is a frequent scratcher or biter, or if you dog has a rage/bite history for the safety of all parties.

I've had the pleasure of having Barath look after my dog Dino on several occasions, and I've been consistently impressed with Barath reliability and genuine love for animals. Barath is incredibly punctual and organized, always arriving on time and sticking to the agreed-upon schedule. My dog is high-energy, and Barath consistently provides him with long walks and plenty of playtime to keep him happy and healthy. 20. Michelle M.
“I am delighted that I was lucky enough to find Michelle after my previous petsitter had bailed on me and Bailey at the last second! From the moment I contacted Michelle to her final update she was super professional and it was obvious she had a genuine love for animals! She took the time to understand Bailey's needs and routines, so well that Bailey was pretty indifferent when I got back from vacation, which was kind of harsh lol. Michelle also maintained a clean and organized environment, which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend her services to all of my friends and family, and now to anyone needing a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Bailey and I will definitely be seeking her services in the future for all of the postponed weddings I now will need to attend! Thank you for being such a caring sitter and for always taking such outstanding care of Bailey while I was away!”
