I'm currently trying on early retirement after being laid off from biotech last year. I worked as an engineer for over 25 years and taking a break from the grind right now. So I have a lot of free time right now to do things I wasn't able to do while working in the corporate world.

I'm currently looking to walk dogs for the time being. I'm happy to pick up and walk your dog in your neighborhood or take him/her to a dog park if they are not afraid of being transported in a car. I come armed with a backpack stocked with poopy bags, water, wipes, and treats (if they are allowed to have any).

Let me know if there is any special care I should be aware of with your dog (i.e. skittish, not friendly with other dogs, bites people/dogs, etc.). Does your dog like to snout people in the crotch or jump on them? I will wear appropriate clothing if so and keep them from doing it to strangers. :0)
A typical day
I love walking dogs in the neighborhood because it gives me a chance to see areas I haven't been able to see on foot. Plus I like looking at the different houses in each neighborhood to inspire me on home improvements and any nearby places to eat and drink. I've lived in San Diego all my life and I have yet to explore all the neighborhoods by foot. I'm usually driving through them to get where I need to be.

Pet care experience
I've had dogs since I was a kid and helped raise my roommate's puggle pup for 15 years. I've been dog-sitting for my friends for years when they go out of town at either their house or my own. I have a good rapport with all kinds of dogs and know how to manage them when out on a walk when they come across other furry friends. I've taken care of puppies to senior age dealing with incontinence. I like taking dogs out for walks so that they don't feel cooped up in the house and get bored. It gives them a chance to sniff their senses away and stretch their legs. This also gives me a chance to work on my tan in sunny San Diego and get my cardio on. :0)

Grace is amazing! Just the best
grace was so attentive with our little lady! We feel so comfortable with having her visit and hang with Winnie, she’s gotten lots of pets and got some good outside time as well. Grace is very attentive and communicative! We will be using her again!!
