When dropping Chai off, Brittany instantly made us feel so comfortable and reassured us that our dog would be just fine. Chai took a liking to Brittany very quickly. Brittany was so good at keeping us updated throughout the day with pictures and a quick update with how Chai was doing and what they had been up too. They went on walks at least twice a day and cuddled (Chai’s favorite). When it was time to pick Chai up we could tell Brittany and Chai had bonded. We are pleased to have met Brittany and highly recommend her to anyone who is in the San Diego area or coming from out of town like us and needing someone who is truly trusting and felt like we were leaving our Chai with family. We will most definitely be looking Brittany up if we are back in the San Diego area in the future.”

About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. We currently have two rescue beagles and 5 rescued cats. I do not currently work and can be home with your animals unless running short errands, and once someone enters our home they are family and will be treated like the spoiled royalty they are. I'm happy to send updates and pictures throughout their stay as well. I do not currently work, so I have all the time in the world for your furry friend. The animals rule our house and are allowed on all furniture/beds so they will be very comfortable. I do walks in the early morning with my dogs, but could also do day time/evening walks if your pets need. We have a fenced in dog-run with 24/7 access through a 1-flap dog door. They can go in and out as they please, but the fences are only 3ft high in the dog run, so jumpers/runners might not be the best fit. We feed our dogs twice a day and cannot free-feed animals.

About: I’ve grown up with cats since birth, and they have a special place in my heart. Most recently I’ve taken care of two Siamese kitties for an artist that is always on the move. This required lots of overnights and special care and medications for older kitties.

About: I can't remember a time when I didn't live with a cat. I grew up with two cats in the house, Simpson and Janice, and developed a very strong bond with them. Six years ago, I adopted my cat Dilma. She had spent the first two years of her life in a shelter, and was very poorly socialized with people. Since, she has grown into a sweet and loving cat. The treats and furniture scratching definitely helped.

About: I grew up loving dogs and have always considered them to be more than a best friend. They’re a member of the family! After COVID, I started dog sitting for friends and family members in my free time because it was so fun, and it was a nice break from my full-time job as a copywriter for Walmart’s corporate team. In 2024, I took my love for dogs a step further and got my own puppy. His name is Yukon, and he’s a lovable goofball with lots of energy. I’ve loved seeing his personality develop over the last few years and having chats with him about what makes him happy (he’s a Pomeranian Husky mix, so he’s always got lots to tell me!) It’s been such a joy to watch him grow into the happy little man that he is today. My goal as a sitter is to give your dog the best care that I can offer. I’ve house sat for dogs that need senior care (daily medications/specific food requirements), puppies that are just learning to navigate the world, energetic breeds that have high activity requirements, and larger dogs. I love them all and I’d love to offer you peace of mind knowing that your fur baby will be in the best hands should you choose to trust me with their care. ❤️🐾 I’m currently working part-time as a personal trainer trying to build up that business, so I have plenty of available hours for house visits, walks, and playtime. I live in a fenced in community that is very dog friendly. Your dog will be able to interact with Yukon—who is always looking to make new friends!—and the dogs in the neighborhood if they choose. It’s a great environment for socialization as well as for safety. I have room to crate your dog if needed or they are happy to explore my home and it make it their own as well. 😊 *Please note*: If you are hoping to book me for house sitting on an overnight basis, I will not be able to leave my own dog unattended. He’s absolutely great with other dogs and he loves people as well. I’m more than happy to do a meet and greet to see if it would be a fit for you and your pet, but if this is something you are not comfortable with, please book another sitter for this service.

About: I grew up in rural Vermont taking care of animals in so many different ways. My family has always had dogs and cats, and I’ve always been the point person for neighbors when folks head out of town. I’ve also worked on a farm for six consecutive years helping care for all type of animals from rabbits, to cows, pigs, chickens, sheep and more. I just moved to San Diego this past month and do not have any prior engagements, so right now all my focus can be on making sure your animals needs are met! I would love nothing more than to see the animals in this city and build connections with them and you! Currently I have a small apartment, but am able to get to parks very near by. About: My entire life I've connected with animals. Even when I was young, animals gravitated to me, shy or hyper, old or young. It led my dad to call me the animal whisperer. I'm partial to cats, and adopted my cat Dilma six years ago. I love dog though, and grew up with a Golden Retriever in my family. Over the years, I've dog sat for family and friends many times. I have a very flexible schedule and job, freeing me up to watch pets during most times of the day. I also have a pet friendly car, so pets can be taken to appointments, parks etc. as needed. About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs at once. I take care of my friends dogs sometimes having 3-4 dogs at once including my own to care for at the same time. I am mostly available during the weekdays during the morning and daytime and I can occasionally do weekends and evenings as well depending on my current schedule. I have two friendly puppers of my own. One of my dogs is 16 years old and the other is 5 years old. About: I have been fostering dogs through a local San Diego rescue for about 3.5 years. I love caring for all types of dogs, but have a particular affinity for large-breed dogs (our dog that we adopted is an 85 pound husky mix). Fostering dogs for the last few years and helping them find their forever homes has been such a rewarding experience, that I recently decided to turn my passion into a profession by going back to school to become a vet tech! I recently went back to school and currently only work weekends, so my schedule is very open during the weekdays in the summer months.
