“We are so thankful to Xochitl for taking such amazing care of Fluffy during his 5-day boarding stay while we were out of town. Knowing Fluffy was in such loving, patient, and trustworthy hands gave us so much peace of mind. Xochitl treated him like family, making sure he was comfortable, happy, and well cared for every day. Fluffy also had so much fun playing with the other puppies, which made his stay even more enjoyable. When we came back, he was relaxed, healthy, and clearly happy, showing how much he enjoyed his time with her. We truly appreciate the love and attention she gave him and highly recommend Xochitl to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter!”

“This was Willow’s second time staying with Araceli, and when I picked her up, she didn’t want to come home! Araceli is the best, her manner with pups and her joyfulness with being a sitter is what makes me effortlessly comfortable to leave my Willow with her. Willow loves her “Tia” and she’ll be back!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. We currently have two rescue beagles and 5 rescued cats. I do not currently work and can be home with your animals unless running short errands, and once someone enters our home they are family and will be treated like the spoiled royalty they are. I'm happy to send updates and pictures throughout their stay as well. I do not currently work, so I have all the time in the world for your furry friend. The animals rule our house and are allowed on all furniture/beds so they will be very comfortable. I do walks in the early morning with my dogs, but could also do day time/evening walks if your pets need. We have a fenced in dog-run with 24/7 access through a 1-flap dog door. They can go in and out as they please, but the fences are only 3ft high in the dog run, so jumpers/runners might not be the best fit. We feed our dogs twice a day and cannot free-feed animals.
“4th time! Rachelle is THE BEST! She sends so many pictures, kept our dogs an extra night when our flight was delayed, and even made cute little ink paw prints! We trust Rachelle to always take the best care of our pups.”

“Natasha was incredibly attentive to our 8 month old pup and communicated regular updates! I appreciated that she asked how frequently we wanted updates to help set expectations upfront. She made sure our pup was not just well taken care of but engaged and exercised regularly, plus she kept up with training which was a bonus. We even went through travel delays getting home and she was flexible to accommodate the extra time, it was great knowing our dog was taken care of and didn't add to the stress of travel. We would absolutely use Natasha again.”

“Alexis eased our mind during our dog, Chili’s, first Rover experience with her. She sent several photo updates, quick to respond and very knowledgeable. We are glad we found her!”

“William, his wife, and their dog Roux were the PERFECT dog sitters for my girl Emma! I was instantly comfortable with them during the meet-and-greet. Emma was also immediately comfortable in their home. They were very focused on making sure they had all the information needed to make Emma's stay with them a positive experience. Emma and Roux became quick friends. During the four days I was away, I received multiple text messages and photos of Emma doing well in their home. I will DEFINITELY hire them again for future trips.”

“Lynn was amazing! My two cats clearly loved spending time with her and took to her immediately during our meet and greet. She watered my plants, sent me lots of pictures, and was very communicative. I accidentally miscalculated how many days I’d need a sitter and she was super understanding and came to take care of the cats again on very short notice. I will definitely be asking Lynn to watch my cats again and would recommend her to anyone.”
“Mariela did an amazing job watching my 2 cats while I was away. She gave great updates on the cats and everything was neat and clean in my house when I got home. Would definitely book again!!”

“Julia was quick to respond and super reliable. She took my puppy to her house to play with her two dogs and then dropped her back off, and visited again in the afternoon to feed her lunch and let her out. She sent many pictures and took great care. Highly recommend and have already booked Julia again!”

I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! “Luana was absolutely incredible, and gave me lots of pictures of my kitty during the drop-in visits. This was my first time using Rover to do drop-ins for my cat, and it was such a wonderful experience and gave me the piece of mind that she was being well looked after. I would happily have Luana look after my cat again! ?”

About: I’m a lifelong cat lover and a cat parent myself, so I understand how important it is to find someone who will treat your cat like family. I’m very attentive to their individual personalities, routines, and comfort levels, whether they’re playful and social or prefer a little more space. I’m also extremely clean and detail-oriented. I stay on top of litter boxes, food and water areas, and any messes so your home stays fresh and comfortable while you’re away. I personally keep my own home completely free of lingering litter-box odors, and I’ll bring that same level of cleanliness to your home. Most importantly, I’m patient, gentle, and genuinely enjoy giving cats the attention and care they deserve. 🐱🤍

About: Hi! I’m Sohlaire, a reliable and attentive dog walker and pet sitter who genuinely cares about the well-being, safety, and happiness of every animal I work with. I have experience with a wide range of dogs—from easygoing companions to strong, high-energy dogs that require more control, structure, and patience. I’m confident handling dogs that pull, get distracted, or need a calm, steady presence during walks. I also have a special understanding of French Bulldogs and other brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds. I’m very mindful of their breathing, overheating, and need for slower, more controlled walks—especially in warmer weather. I make sure they stay safe, comfortable, and never overexerted. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I pay close attention to behavior, surroundings, and individual needs, and I make sure each walk or visit is tailored to your dog’s personality and energy level. I also have experience with: • Administering medications • Caring for multiple dogs at once • Providing calm, consistent care for older dogs I’m dependable, communicative, and respectful of your home. You can expect updates, photos, and peace of mind while your pet is in my care. I’m currently accepting a limited number of consistent weekly clients, as well as pet sitting bookings. If you’re looking for someone responsible, grounded, and genuinely tuned in to your pet’s needs—I’d love to connect. I truly love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I am currently a full time pet care and dog walker which provides me the ability to give all my love & attention into caring for our furry best friends. *Please note i do NOT bring my pup with me unless there is prior approval and preferred meet and greet between our pets. In your home I treat your babies as you would, follow their structure and routines so they continue to have their stability and safety. I also treat your home with respect as my own, keeping it clean and organized so you return to it just as you left!

“Our dogs and cats loved Ravit! It made our trip so much nicer to know that they were getting great care. Ravit even figured out how to get our incredibly picky dog to eat!”

About: Hi, I'm Catie! While I am launching my professional pet sitting career, I bring a lifetime of personal devotion, deep patience, and specialized care straight to your doorstep. In my own home, I manage a beautifully blended, multi-pet family. I am the proud pet parent of a 55lb, 16 yr old senior dog, who is currently navigating mobility loss, as well as a wonderful 7 yr old cat. They have lived together for years and get along exactly like brothers! Whether your cat is an outgoing social butterfly or a shy hider who needs their boundaries respected, I know how to read cat body language, manage meticulous litter box habits, and provide gentle, stress-free companionship.

About: After my first 3 years of experience caring for dogs as a pet sitter, dog walker, groomer, and puppy trainer I decided to expand my services and began working as a cat sitter in my hometown. With over 5 years of hands on experience caring for pets and managing more than 15 clients per week (with around 80% returning regularly), I bring a strong foundation of trust, consistency, and professionalism to every service. When I transitioned into cat care, I made a conscious effort to study feline behavior and needs in depth, so I could provide a level of care that truly respects each cat’s personality whether they are playful, shy, or more independent. I quickly fell in love with cats and even adopted one myself, which deepened my understanding and connection with them.
About: I’ve taken care of my boxer dog for 12 years and have been taking care of my cats for 10 years. Experience with dog sitting/walking. I have a daytime weekday job, so I am available to walk/run your dog or to play with your cats evenings after 4pm and weekend mornings or afternoons. I am available to visit and play or take them for long walks or runs. Very active, so extended runs available on weekend mornings or afternoons.
About: My husband and I are big animal lovers and wish we could adopt more pets. We recently had to say goodbye to our 11 yo corgi due to cancer and 10 yo cat due to kidney disease — we have so much love to share while we heal and are happy to give your kids the best care and ensure they feel at home. I work from home and we have a large deck that’s fenced and great for sunning or lounging. We are active and our social life has always revolved around where we can bring our fur kiddos. Your pup will be treated like family and we look forward to taking him/her out on lunch or dinner dates, walks, park trips, or just exploring San Diego as a crew. I know what it’s like to have a stranger pet sit your pup through Rover, and we’ve had some not so great experiences with dog sitters in the past, so we wanted to be able to provide a super positive experience while you’re on vacation since we’ve been on the other end too! Also, be prepared to get spammed with lots of cute photos of your pet while you are away (unless you request otherwise!). I work from home 5 days a week in San Diego (my husband works hybrid 3 days a week) and we live in a quiet culdesac in the heart of Bay Park. We are very active and love exploring San Diego - you’ll most likely find us in Ocean Beach playing volleyball, at dog beach, walking Mission Bay or Crown Point, at Fiesta Island, or at a dog-friendly restaurant. We are accustomed to at least 3 walks a day and field trips to the local restaurants or parks. We love exploring the best dog friendly spots San Diego has to offer to make the most out of their day and ours. We have a large fenced patio deck great for lounging and live in a quiet, safe culdesac. Your pet’s safety is number one and we realize the importance as fellow pet parents. We will always keep your pup on leash unless you specifically request a visit to an off leash dog park.

About: I have taken care of my several cats belonging to my roommates and friends - up to 9 different cats (three of which were 18 years old). I am more of a dog person and have more experience with dogs but I love all animals and make effort to give all of them the best care possible. I make sure they are fed, have water, and litter boxes are scooped and cleaned 1-2 times daily. I also take time to pet them (if they want/allow any petting or desire attention) and play with them if any toys are provided or available (and they have interest in play). I am very conscientious about making sure indoor cats do not get let out of the house. If they are outdoor cats, I try to check on them each day to make sure they are in good condition and make sure their food dishes are full and they are as safe as possible (and have ability to come indoors if they are allowed to) a

“We had some last minute construction going on in our house, and Laryssa helped us out last minute. Such a blessing to have a place for my baby to go to have a peaceful day, play in a yard, and get lots of love while it's so crazy at home. She was responsive, sweet, sent me pictures and updates, and just gave me the peace of mind I needed. I will definitely send Mr. Kirby back to Laryssa's place. Thank you so much! :)”

About: Hi my name is Collin and I've been sitting/ walking dogs since I was a 6 year old kid! I used to own a 150 pound Bernese Mountain Dog, and more recently two little french bulldogs for the past 6 years. I've cared for and dog sat at three of my neighbors homes for years, along with walking multiple dogs at once when I lived in San Luis Obispo for four years. I have great experience and am comfortable caring for any dog. I understand that you are entrusting a pet you love with me, and I take my role as the dog walker/ house/dog sitter very seriously. I’ve also helped with an old sick dog for months house sitting over night and administering medication. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! I have multiple references as well that will vouch I am responsible and will do a great job! I currently work remote from home, I am mostly just at home, and love bringing a dog on my daily walks/hikes. I love dogs and have had a few in the past for over 15 years. I can provide many references, but I am very responsible and will treat the pet as my own. I am super reliable and trustworthy as well, making sure I'm always keeping an eye on your dog and taking him/her on walks and playing with them.

“LeeAnn was very sweet to Mowgli during our meet and greet and pickup, and understood his anxieties. She sent pictures of Mowgli being comfy with her dogs. It was a hot day, so she kept the pups inside and cool. We look forward to Mowgli and LeeAnn spending more time together!”
About: I have owned and cared for dogs for more than 35 years, including Cocker Spaniels, Bulldogs, and Jack Russells. This has given me experience with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I provide a calm, dependable home, am available throughout the day, and have a secure fenced yard where dogs can safely play and relax. I am home throughout the day, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have plenty of time for regular walks, playtime, feeding, bathroom breaks, attention, and quiet time. I can also follow each dog’s normal schedule to help them feel comfortable and settled. Pets in my home are cared for in a calm, secure environment with a fully fenced yard and plenty of supervision. I follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medication, and routines. Our children are experienced around dogs and understand the importance of treating them gently and respectfully. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep their pet’s routine as consistent as possible.
“Julia and Jack are amazing, what a team! Their dogs are lovely, playful, and happy go lucky, got along great with my pup! Tons of pictures tons of updates well worth the price! I strongly recommend!”

“Kayla was amazing with my dog. She provided lots of pictures and videos the entire time, which I greatly appreciate. Highly recommend and I will use her again for future sitting.”

“Xochitl did an amazing job with our two pugs! Pugs are needy and she handled them brilliantly. She was patient and understanding even though they were more to handle than her usual dogs. I will book with her again, if she'll have us!”

“Benny loves it at Gabrielle & Matthew's! Their house and yard is doggy heaven. Lots of space to roam, play, and sniff. He loves their two shepherds. They all seem to get along, and they are good influences on Benny, as they are so well behaved. Benny always comes home happy and tired. Couldn't ask for more!”

“My precious PugZ took an immediate liking to Rachelle. She sent plenty of pictures and updates. I’d definitely have Rachelle care for PugZ again and highly recommend her services”

“Lynn took great care of Bagel. She sent us plenty of pictures throughout the day and we could see that Bagel was being well cared for and happy. I loved getting the report card at the end of the visit. This was a fantastic experience thanks to Lynn.”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have had dogs as small as Yorkies to as big as German Shepards. I love every type of dog and treat each one I encounter like it’s my own. Dogs deserve nothing but the best because at the end of the day they are one of us! I work early mornings so I will be free to take care of your dog in the afternoon during the week, and I am free all weekends at anytime. When it comes to taking care of dogs I do not take it lightly. They are a living being and deserved to be treated with kindness and respect. I enjoy playing with dogs even if we are sitting on the couch at home watching tv. When watching your dog, I will never take my eye off them if I am watching them at your house, or mine and especially on walks!

About: I’ve cared for dogs from puppyhood through adulthood, so I understand how different each dog’s personality, routine, and needs can be. I adapt my care to what makes each pet feel comfortable, confident, and secure. Because I primarily work remotely, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend more quality time with the pets in my care, whether that means long walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company. While I can’t have another dog of my own right now, my life just isn’t complete without animals in it. I’ll care for your pet like they’re part of my own family, and you’ll receive plenty of photo updates along the way so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re happy, safe, and well cared for. My schedule is typically very flexible so either pet care fits into my routine or I make pet care fit into my routine. I primarily work remote, so if your pet prefers short outings and hanging at home, we do that. If your pet is high energy and needs extra exercise, then we work on the go! Every dog has a different personality and routine, so I take the time to learn what makes your pet feel comfortable and secure. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I prioritize safety, consistency, and plenty of attention. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any house rules you’ve established. You’ll also receive regular photo updates so you can relax knowing exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away.
“Julia did a wonderful job with my Bo! She also lives in a beautiful spot with plenty of outdoor space to roam around. She sent plenty of pictures including ones cuddling with her son who was also great with him!”

About: My roommate and I have been caring for pets together for years and absolutely love animals. We share our home with two friendly dogs and a rabbit who are used to meeting new furry friends. Whether your pup loves playtime, cuddles, or just relaxing, we’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. We provide plenty of attention, exercise, and updates so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. I’m a full-time college student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to give pets the attention they deserve. I’m available most days of the week, and because my roommate is also a Rover sitter, there’s usually someone home to provide care, playtime, and supervision. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I keep a close eye on pets both indoors and outdoors and make sure they feel comfortable in a clean, secure environment. Whether we’re playing, going for walks, or relaxing at home, your pet will always be treated like one of my own.
“Kari was absolutely amazing . It was my first time doing doggy day care and I couldn’t be happier . He had a great time and she is so friendly and responsive . Highly recommend .”

About: I have experience with all kinds of animals! I grew up with a pet filled home. I have experience with elderly animals, sick animals, puppies, kittens, and tons of other animals as well. I love them all the same. I work completely remote in San Diego. I am able to drive to local homes, parks, etc. I have a lot of flexibility for drop in visits, walks, or I can stay and hangout with your pets if I am able to bring my computer :). I have two kitties of my own so I likely cannot bring any more pets back to my own home, but I am open to the idea if you are comfortable with it!
“Very grateful to have found Catherine. She did an excellent job walking my 2 dogs who have different needs. Highly recommended in all ways - communication, trustworthiness, reliability, etc.”

About: I've have been dog sitting/walking and grooming since I was ten years old for all my neighbors. I always had a love for every animal. When I turned 17 I've worked as a wildlife technician/ vet assistant for 9 years now, and been a dog /cat groomer for 8 years, also I was a animal safety officer at my last salon,I'm always very aware of how just a little stress can affect a animal in a big way and strive to make sure there as relaxed as possible when there in my care. I do not mind taking on any animal with any physical or medical issues (including giving insulin/oral medication). I'm very patient with nervous dogs, and can always make them feel safe.My husband and I have been in the animal medical profession for 30 years put together. I always take walks in the mornings, noon and afternoon. If you wish as well I was a groomer with petsmart for 5 years before going into private practice, I have all salon quality equipment at home and can give your dog anything from nail trim, ear cleaning, to a bath or all of it including haircut. Hope you do pick me because your animals will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. I have a daughter, so I'm home all the time and have lots of time for love and cuddles, and getting out multiple times a day for exercise for my daughter your pup will be a welcome addition to help both of them get there energy out. I have two baby gates, 1 at the front door and 1 at the kitchen. And keep all electrical cords up. Because I have a toddler my house is more baby proofed so nothing dangerous can be chewed on. I vacuum twice a day and make sure all meds are up high and in baby lock cabinets.
“Jelena was responsive, friendly, punctual, and a good communicator during this process. It was a somewhat last-minute holiday weekend request, she handled everything great. Would definitely re-book with her.”

“Heather was able to help us out with dog walking on short notice. She was very communicative and on time, and the pups really took to her. We definitely recommend her and would use her for house sitting as well.”

About: I've been around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets. Growing up, my family always had dogs, cats, and rabbits, so I became familiar with the daily responsibilities of feeding, cleaning, exercise, playtime, and providing loving, attentive care. I now have a cat of my own, Stevie, and continue to enjoy caring for animals of all personalities and temperaments. In addition to caring for my own pets, I've also looked after neighbors' dogs while they were away. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines, and I always strive to provide reliable, patient, and compassionate care to help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time to caring for your pets. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting during the week, as well as evenings and weekends. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. I'll care for your pet as if they were my own by following their routine, providing plenty of attention and affection, and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away, and I'll always treat your home with the utmost respect.

“Ravit did walks with our dog Ada for a little over a week. She quickly bonded with Ada, who was excited to see her every day. Ravit was flexible when we wanted to change times or find extra times. She took great cute pictures and gave frequent updates. Highly recommend!”

“For anyone who feels that their dog is less a pet and more a family member, Liz is the right fit for you. She treats our Lulu like she is a member of her own pack. She is reliable, thoughtful, trustworthy, and very loving. Our dog gets so excited to see her. We’ve been extremely happy with her dog walking services and would highly recommend her.”

“Emily was fantastic with our two pups - including one sweet but large and leash-reactive rescue dog! She went above and beyond in making sure that our dogs got to work out some of their mental and physical energy (even on days with heavy rain), and it was obvious to us when we got home that the two pups were much more happy and calm than they would have been otherwise. Will definitely be reaching out to Emily the next time we need help!”

“Jenna was amazing! She went above and beyond to help me check in on my friend’s senior dog while we were out for the day. She was very responsive and kept me updated on everything. Jenna was so patient with Sadie, making sure she was comfortable and safe before leaving. I truly appreciated her help and would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

About: I am very involved in the loving and care of your precious cat! I will spend lots of time with them and take care of every basic need and more. Hi there! I work in the school district and unfortunately don’t have as many hours over the summer. However, that means I have more free time to take care of cute animals over the summer. I am very involved in the love and caring of animals. My daily routine with them looks like walking them 1-3 times day (if you have a dog), petting them animals, spending time with them, feeding them, washing them if needed, and medications are fine too.

“Lisa always takes the best care of Onyx. She cares for the dogs like they are her own. Onyx loves going to Lisa’s to stay while we are gone. We love Lisa and highly recommend her!”

“Joseph and Tyler were amazing. We had to book a rover last minute and we were so happy to have found them. They took our two dogs for a long weekend and sent us lots of pics of our doggos on walks and having the best time. 10/10 recommend!”

“Emily & Steven we're absolutely amazing! They were incredibly accommodating with any instructions we had for taking care of Messi and always provided us with regular status updates on how he was doing. Messi seemed to be very comfortable at their place and we will absolutely be reaching out again in the future :) could not recommend this family enough!”

“Sarah and Taylor were amazing dog sitters! They took such great car of Trooper and he looked so happy in all the pics! Great communication and updates, very kind and friendly! Highly recommend 😃 We will definitely use Sarah and Taylor again!”

“Repeat customer here-Alegra is wonderful! My pup started wagging her tail as soon as we stepped on the porch. My dog is older and has some problems but Alegra is so patient and understanding with her. I get updates and pictures at least daily which I love. Highly recommend Alegra!”

“Taynara and Matt were incredible. I felt so comfortable leaving my old pup with them and they took extra special care of him. Very communicative, easy to work with, and kind people.”

“Benjamin was absolutely the best! He was responsive, kind, and so easy to work with. Our baby Salem adored him and loved having a new furry best friend to play with. We always felt she was safe and cared for, and we appreciated the thoughtful updates along the way. When we’re back, we’ll definitely book with Benjamin again and recommend him to all our friends with furry babies. Thank you, Benjamin, for being so wonderful and for accommodating us on such short notice!”

“Genevieve was, as always, a fantastic sitter. We had an emergency and having such a trusted sitter for our dog took such a stress off our shoulders. She sent great pictures and updates, and Charlie had an amazing time playing with Willow and snuggling Genevieve and her husband. Thank you so much and we’ll 1000% book again!”
