I work full-time remotely, and can plan accordingly for day time walks (am & pm) as well as potty breaks if there isn’t a yard. During the weekend I like to spend time outside. Depending on the pets comfort we would go on multiple walks and lounge in the backyard together. During my long pet sitting stays I try to keep my schedule very open so I’m spending time with the pet and not leaving them alone. If I need to run errands the goal is to be away for no more than 3 hours (usually less).

Depending on the situation and client relationship only certain pets will be boarding in my home. They must be crate trained for nighttime and potty trained. My preference is to stay at the pets home to avoid extra anxiety caused from being in a new environment.

I’ve become very comfortable with pets who have special needs. Such as, high anxiety, fearful, shy, aggressive towards other breeds, need oral medication, and suffer with depression. You can trust that no matter the issue they will have my full attention and care.
A typical day
In an ideal situation we’d plays games, check out the new smells in the neighborhood, walk around the park if pet is comfortable in that environment, and hang out together at home. For special needs pets we will stay close to home and familiar walking paths. Please note I do not go to off leash locations with ANY pets. We will stay in controlled environments regardless if there is a special need or not.

We recently used Gina this past week for a one week stay with our 27lb bernedoodle. In a word – she was wonderful. Gina was very communicative, sending pictures and updates a couple of times per day, and walked our dog two or more times each day. Our dog took an instant liking to Gina – and Gina was very engaged and attentive to her. She also did some extras for us with respect to watering plants due to high temperatures. Gina is a mature and very pleasant young lady who works from home so that she is available and present much of each day; and at the end of her stay, she left our home in as good or better condition than when she started - and left us a very detailed note summarizing noteworthy items during her stay. We will definitely be using Gina in the future!
Gina was phenomenal with my sweet/senior labrador retriever, Penny. Super communicative before and during the period she took care of Penny, and sent photos and updates as well. Clearly has a fondness for dogs, as well as experience with senior doggos. Penny loved her from the moment they mer. Couldn’t recommend Gina more highly and will definitely be going to her first should I leave town again!
Gina went above and beyond when watching my cat! I really appreciated all the pictures and updates throughout the weekend. She was very professional and trustworthy which is of utmost importance for anyone coming into your home and caring for your fur baby. I will reach out to her first next time I need a sitter and I’d recommend her to anyone!
Gina is a great pet sitter! She sent lots of photos throughout the night, and my dogs looked so happy and comfortable with her. She took them on an evening walk, followed all instructions perfectly, and was very communicative and friendly. I would absolutely hire her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter.
