“Denise watched Owen after a long weekend and provided photo and videos during the visit and Owen was chatty and well-taken care of when I got home! I’d recommend Denise to take care of your pets!”

“Alex is always the best! My bulldog loves spending time with her when Im out of town. Also, Alex was kind enough to leave the porch light and a small light on when I got come after a long day stuck at the airport. Very thoughtful and considerate, really appreciated! Thank you Alex!”

“Isabelle was so good with taking care of my cats. She gave prompt responses and shared daily updates. This was my first experience with Rover and Isabelle made it seamless. Highly recommend her for taking care of your kitties!”

“I could not have had a better experience with a better dog sitter than Jarrod. From the first moment I requested to book she was attentive and responsive even willing to do a meet and greet that day because my trip was very last-minute and I need to book him for the day after. When he came for the meet and greet he was already so loving and attentive with my doggo (Bear) and was eager to ask questions and understand what was expected of him. Throughout my trip he was so communicative sending me pictures and updating me on how each visit went, letting me know if she was feeling any types of ways and if she ate and went to the bathroom. Sent the most adorable pictures which Ofcourse I appreciated. After my original booking was over I had an emergency extension for work and Jarrod made it extremely easy to communicate with him to come back that night and to extend the booking. So happy I took the chance with this app and hire jarrod I will definitely be rebooking with him for future trips!!”
“Darya was an excellent caretaker for our 2 cats with twice daily drop in visits. She took time to play with our babies and get them lots of pets. We could tell by the pictures she sent that both cats were very appreciative of her care. We would hire Darya again!”

“Absolutely fantastic! She was so kind and loving to my fur babies and kept me updated the whole time I was gone. Also felt so much safer booking with her knowing she has a vet care background/knowledge. Would definitely book again!!!”

About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was a child, and I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels for over 11 years. I was the proud owner of a special-needs senior dog who I cared for from the time I was 18 until he peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge, so I understand the patience, dedication, and unconditional love our pets deserve. I also regularly dog sit and have experience walking large breeds, handling excited or strong dogs on leash, and staying calm in stressful situations. Safety is always my top priority, whether we’re out for a walk or relaxing at home. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family, making sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, routine, and personalized care. My goal is for both you and your pup to feel completely comfortable and confident while you’re apart. I’m currently in school, so I appreciate the flexibility that pet sitting provides. Outside of occasional Monday and Wednesday mornings, my schedule is very open, and I’m happy to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. If you’re located in the downtown area, I’m especially available for drop-in visits, walks, feedings, or last-minute check-ins. Caring for animals has been part of my daily routine for over 10 years, so fitting pet care into my schedule comes naturally. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine will always be my top priorities. I understand how important consistency is, so I’ll follow your care instructions closely—from feeding schedules and medications to walks, playtime, and bedtime routines. I pay close attention to each animal’s body language and behavior and can recognize when something seems off. I have experience caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and medical needs, and I remain calm in stressful situations. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keeping them safe, loved, entertained, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in good hands.
“Amazing sitter! Very communicative and follows instruction very well. She spent a little extra time with our kitties because of all the medications one of them has. We are very appreciative!”

“Armando is awesome! From the time we made contact, communication was great. My cat, Buddy, really enjoyed his time, and we are very grateful for Armando's commitment to Buddy's health and to the safety of our home. The first couple of days Buddy wasn't feeling well -- Armando and I reviewed the symptoms, made adjustments to food and medication, and within 24 hours we had turned a good corner! I got photos, activity reports, and we had a few phone calls at my request to make sure Armando had what he needed to keep my spoiled kitty happy :-). Thank You Armando!”

“Joseph is prompt, responsive, and exceptionally competent, especially with our old dog who needs lots of special care and patience. We have booked Joseph for a multi-day vacation, and I’m confident he will do well with both our dogs that week too.”
About: As a dedicated animal lover, I offer personalized in-home sitting and fun outdoor adventures. Through years of shelter work—including handling weekend walks and group pack hikes for Westside German Shepherd Rescue—I’ve gained great experience managing different sizes and energy levels safely. I have an extremely social pup of my own who loves making new friends. Whether I'm staying over to keep your dog comfortable in their own home or picking them up to join us for an after-work beach romp, your dog will get structure, great exercise, and endless love. My weekday routine is consistent and reliable: I work an office job during the day, leaving my evenings and weekends dedicated to pet care. I love winding down after work with active evening visits, walk routines, or dog beach outings, followed by cozy evening drop-ins for cats. I’m also fully available for weekend house sitting, long walks, and attentive care when you're away. I treat your home and your pets with the highest level of care and accountability. During house sits, I strictly maintain your established routines—including custom feeding, medication administration, exercise, and litter box or yard cleanup. Backed by years of rescue and volunteer experience, I’m quick to pick up on pet body language to ensure they feel safe and comfortable. You can expect regular photos, clear communication, and a clean, secure home to return to.

“She is the best rover we’ve ever had. Extremely communicative, can problem solve, and genuinely seems to enjoy spending time with the animals. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have worked with dogs for more than a year and would definitely be the best pet sitter & walker and treat them like my own. i am avaliable part time due to enrolling in college. I am pretty flexible with scheduling and will do my best to work hard and as many hours to take care of the fur babies. I can easily follow directions and will make sure to go the extra mile to keep any dog/dogs safe and make sure they are always happy and comfortable around me and also plan to keep the owners updated as much as possible throughout my care.
“Kaitlyn was extremely communicative, punctual, kind, good-humored, and got along very well with my cat. Steffen did an amazing job caring for my kitty girl. It was my first time leaving her with anyone other than family for more than a day, and I was "that" cat parent that left a list of just in case instructions. Steffen was kind & reassuring & followed them all to a T! I will definitely rebook if she'll have me!

Destiny is the absolute best! I haven’t been traveling much lately, but I was so happy she was available to take care of Crunchwrap! I got lots of great photos while I was away and I came home to a very happy cat. I always know Crunch and my home are in good hands with Destiny.

Chelsea once again provided exceptional care while we were out of town to our picky little tuxedo cat. Always great communication & the best pictures. You can just tell she is his favorite sitter. We will keep asking her back as long as she will let us! Thanks again!

Highly recommend Denise! Denise recently watched my cat, and I could not be happier with the care she provided. She was incredibly reliable, professional, and kept me updated the entire time. She even offered to ensure kitty litter wouldn’t run out. It gave me total peace of mind knowing my kitty was in such caring hands. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat. Thank you so much, Denise-will absolutely be booking you again!

Shannon was fantastic! Such an amazing help last minute. We received so many amazing photos and updates while we were away. Shannon really gave them such great enrichment time and was beyond helpful. We felt relaxed knowing she was taking such great care of them!

Roran was great for pet sitting our two cats. The cats were happy and healthy by the time we got back from our trip and the litter box was well maintained. Roran was very easy to work with, great at following all of our requests, and spent time keeping our cats company while we were gone.

Angela once again went above and beyond to take care of my two cats. She was extremely professional, caring, and communicative. Having her looking after my fur babies definitely gave me peace of mind and I will be rebooking with her in the future. Thank you Angela!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
