“Tina has been looking after my cat Romulus for a few months now. She is professional, reliable, thorough, compassionate, and has provided excellent counsel on how to handle some of his recent acting out behaviors. Tina is so supportive and genuinely LOVES her work which really shows every time she babysits my fur baby! I have never doubted her character and believe her to be trustworthy and 100% ethical in her work. After each time away, I return to my apartment with a satisfied pet who has been looked at for with with tender, loving care. During a shaky mental crisis regarding my pet, she went above and beyond in giving ME emotional support in a nonjudgmental, genuine manner. I value her character and commitment to her work- anyone utilizing her services is lucky to have someone as dedicated and skillful as she is. Thank you so much Tina! Warmly, Alex & Romulus”

“Danielle was great! She took very good care of my very shy cat. She was available on short notice and there was great communication throughout the whole visit.”

“I appreciated the detailed messages Monica sent about my cat’s mood and behavior. Monica made it easy to trust that she could watch my cat for such a long time. I will use her again!”

About: I’ve helped take care of my family’s dogs my whole life, including raising my parent’s puppy when I was living at home a few years ago. I also have a cat myself, and have been used as a pet sitter by friends and family over the years. I love animals and will give your furry friends the care they deserve! I am currently changing careers to become a nurse, and Rover is my only job until I start nursing school in January. That being the case, I am highly flexible throughout the week and can also work on weekends if I don’t have plans. I live in a two bedroom apartment with a fenced/gated courtyard. I also have a cat who enjoys interacting with other animals. For any services that require me to enter your home, you can trust me to be respectful of the environment.

About: Hi, I’m Jana! I am a full-time physical therapist looking to spend time with some pups since I currently do not have one of my own. I’ve been a passionate animal lover my entire life, growing up with a beloved family dog and later raising my own Australian Shepherd from a puppy. Because of my Aussie, I am incredibly comfortable managing high-energy breeds and keeping up with demanding exercise schedules, making me the perfect match for active dogs who love long, fulfilling walks. Over the years, I’ve also become the trusted, go-to dog and cat sitter for my friends. Through these diverse experiences, I’ve developed a deep understanding of animal behavior and know exactly how to read their cues to make them feel safe, secure, and completely comfortable around me. Above all, safety is my absolute top priority. I approach every walk and sitting session with extreme care, ensuring your furry family member is never put in danger. I can't wait to meet your pet and provide the reliable, attentive care they deserve! Certifications: Cat and Dog First Aid and IAP Dog Walker certified. I currently work Tuesday through Fridays so I am available Saturday, Sunday and Mondays when most pet parents may be traveling. Also, I am willing to walk or drop in during my days off for those who work weekends! When caring for pets at their own home I prioritize their needs as well as the privacy of my clients. I will always treat their home with respect. If your pup is staying with me, be assured I will keep them on their normal schedule and give them the love and attention they deserve.

Thank you Rachel for taking care of pumpkin while I was away! Rachael provided plenty of pictures, a sweet little recap of their visit and tons of enrichment for my boy. I hate having to leave my animals when I travel but feel so much better knowing they’re being watched after by someone who truly cares for them like their own, and that is Rachel. 100% recommend

I’m so glad Stass and I found Christine! She is so sweet, detailed and communicative. I travel a lot for work, and it brings me such peace of mind to know that Stassi is in great hands while I’m away. I am so grateful for the care and consistent updates she always provides. I 100% recommend her and have even asked to be a recurring client of hers! Thank you so much Christine!

Latisha was an amazing sitter for my cats! I had her drop on a few times while I was out of town to check on my babies. She was thorough and kind and made sure my cats got treats, play time, and pets. I have a cat who is particularly untrusting of strangers and she seems to take to Latisha right away which honestly has never happened! I'll definitely contact her in the future if I need check ins done again - I can't recommend her enough!

I'm so grateful that Destiny was able to help out when my usual sitter had to cancel last minute! She was very conscientious, taking proactive steps to look after my cat when there was unusually hot weather & other unexpected issues that came up! Thanks again!
It was wonderful to have Ginny come daily in the morning and feed my two cats. One of my cats is way more social than the other, and she was able to get the shy one out and eating while she was there and also pet him. I knew my cats were in compassionate, caring and competent hands.

We had Chelsea over again to watch our 4 year old tuxedo cat. Her communication is always so great & she sends the sweetest photos. Also, my cat is actually obsessed with her. So thankful she makes going away that much easier! We will keep asking her back so long as she will have us!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
