I was the proud owner of a special-needs senior dog who I cared for from the time I was 18 until he peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge, so I understand the patience, dedication, and unconditional love our pets deserve. I also regularly dog sit and have experience walking large breeds, handling excited or strong dogs on leash, and staying calm in stressful situations. Safety is always my top priority, whether we’re out for a walk or relaxing at home. Our shy girl adored Kristin instantly and spent lots of time with her, and Kristin spent the time to take our crazy boy outside on a leash (a crazy thing to ask for a cat)! This was my husband’s and my first time ever using Rover and our first time having someone we didn’t know stay overnight in our home, so we were definitely a little nervous going into it. We have three pets, two dogs and a special-needs cat. They all have very different personalities and needs. Our cat also requires both topical and oral medications, so I had quite a few specific instructions for her care.
