About: I have never known a life without a pet of some kind. Having animals, I learned very early on the importance of responsibility as well as empathy for the feelings and lives of others. Just as we pay attention to human body language for cues, the same standard comes into play for animals. Because they can’t speak like we do, it is important to be attentive as well as respectful of their needs. I have 10+ years of experience from not only my own array of pets (dogs, geckos, horses, chickens, ratties, cats, etc), but also from my main line of work. I have been an in home nursing assistant for 5 years, beginning with taking care of my great grandmother and her dog in her home which blossomed into the career I know and love today. My integrity and compassion for both animals and humans has led to many opportunities for me. From walking dogs for neighbors and friends, grooming assistance, occasional medical assistance, Overnight sitting/boarding, and even small excursions for enrichment, all the way down to childcare in some cases. I am a child at heart and with animals, my spirit is at play. they bring just as much joy to my life as I hope to bring to theirs. I’d love to treat your furrever baby like my own while you’re away 🤍 I am currently taking a break from my human patients and putting more emphasis on building my animal care portfolio. I’d like to become a pet sitter/walker full time while back in school. I am able to provide A well enriched and attentive home with lots of toys and attention to offer. There is a park less than 5 minutes walking distance as well that I’d be happy to take your pet to visit for potty breaks and play, should that be okay with you. I don’t particularly like to crate dogs, however, if that is their safe space or they happen to be crate trained that’s no issue at all/is appreciated if they do not do well being left alone for an hour or so at a time. Communication is key and you will always be contacted should anything of concern arise.
About: I’ve been a vet assistant for over 20 years. I have been a pet sitter back in New Jersey. It’s what I love to do. Pet sitting is what I love to do. About: I’m mama to four crazy cats: Mark, Quid, Star, and Wally. They’re the most recent squad in a long line of kitties ( + one doggy!) that came before. I’m very comfortable around sassy pets, as well as ones with special diets or medication needs. I took care of my Delia doggy for 3 years, with all her rambunctious walks and homemade meals. I’m currently working part-time evenings in La Mesa, typically 3:00p-8:30p at the most. I am off work and completely free on Mon/Tue/, but I am available throughout the week to drop-in and housesit, provided I can fit it around my work schedule. I’m very flexible! I’m ready to handle any special dietary requirements (including cooking), as well as medication needs. I’m comfortable with crating dogs and/or banishing cats to a certain part of the residence. I have a bunch of little escape artists, so I’m always careful to account for everyone and keep the space organized.

“Trent and his wife were absolutely fantastic with my two boys Astro & Adonis! Astro is my senior and Adonis is still a puppy but super big and super reactive with other people and animals. Trent and his wife made sure to introduce themselves very gently and were so amazing! Both Astro and Adonis absolutely loved them and all their care. I always worry for my boys but I was so relieved leaving them both under Trent's supervision. I highly recommend Trent for anybody who has large dogs like mine. Bobbie was a fantastic house and pup sitter. She was very attentive to my young Australian Shepherd and ensured he was engaged and cared for while I was out of town. Mariah was truly amazing. I was gone for 5 days and my dog started coughing seriously the 3rd day. She kept me informed by text including video, and, on her own contacted the Rover veterinarian (I didn't now there is one!) for advice which was very helpful. We ultimately decided she should take him to Urgent Care which she did willingly. She sat with the vet while they called me on the phone and she made very clear notes for me to use on my return. Mariah was up with Joey in the middle of the night for two nights - and after visiting Urgent Care, she gave him medicine at 3AM. And, when I talked to her, she seemed much more concerned with interrupting my vacation than that she was losing sleep and having to do more than expected. She sounded so loving to Joey the entire time - and thought her way through a number of possibilities to relieve Joey's distress. AND when she left, she had washed the sheets and towels and the house was as clean as when I left. I could not have expected more from anyone. She was absolutely terrific - and I am so grateful.
Angie took great care of Ziggy while we were away for almost two weeks. She took him on lots of walks and sent us pictures and videos every day, which we really appreciated and helped us feel comfortable knowing he was happy and well cared for. Ziggy seemed to really enjoy his time with her, and we came home to a happy pup! Would definitely book Angie again in the future!
