About: We’ve been raised around dogs and cats our whole life. As a result, we have vast experience of taking care of animals. Currently, we are the owners of 2 labrador retrievers, so we are in tune with the demands and joys of taking care of dogs. We are available for pet care in the morning before 7 and in the evening after 5 Monday through Friday. We are very flexible on the weekends. At our home, we have a fenced in small yard and also a dog park within my condominium which is spacious, clean, and fenced in. One of my dogs wanted to be in the house and spent a lot of time sleeping on her bed, and Dawn was kind enough to let her hang out there. The best sign they were happy and comfortable: one dog has separation anxiety, and when I came to pick them up, she was excited to greet me, but then immediately turned around and went back into the yard, explored more, then asked to be let into the house. About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life and genuinely love being around animals. My dog, Bearra, a Lab and German Shepherd mix, recently passed away after living an amazing 15.5 years. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I would love the opportunity to provide dependable, caring, and attentive service for both you and your dog. I am a teacher on summer break, so I currently have a very flexible schedule with my days, evenings, and weekends available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I enjoy being active and outside, so caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine and gives me the opportunity to spend time doing something I genuinely love. While I do not have a private yard, my complex has safe grassy areas for walks and bathroom breaks, and I enjoy taking dogs on walks around Coronado, Seaport Village, and Miramar Reservoir. I treat pets like family, so they are welcome on the furniture and will receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and care while they are with me.

“Lori watched our dog Hana for four nights and we couldn’t be more pleased. Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

“We are so happy and relieved that we found Todd and Bill to board our somewhat anxious rescue dog, who also has a medical condition. He received loving care while we were gone, reflected by daily pictures. Bill administered oral medication twice per day with no problems whatsoever. I love the idea of a home setting with canine companions where he wasn’t restricted to a kennel, but rather could roam around the house and yard. He ate well which is a sure sign he was happy and was exhausted when we got him home. Bill responds to messages within minutes and is extremely accommodating to special requests and needs. Bill and Todd have our highest recommendation.”
