“Jayna was fantastic with our 10-month-old boy! She’s wonderful with him. She was professional, communicative, followed our instructions carefully, and even went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable while we were away. Jayna is truly part of the family now, and our pup loves seeing her. Thank you for everything, Jayna — you’re the best!”

About: Hi, I’m Ken 👋 I bring years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all temperaments, from playful pups to anxious and senior dogs who need a little extra patience. I’m a PAWS of Coronado Volunteer Behavior Training Level 1 graduate, and I’ve spent years volunteering in shelter environments where safety, calm handling, and compassion truly matter. I’ve also worked alongside canine police officers in training scenarios, giving me a strong foundation in reading dog behavior, maintaining control, and building trust through calm, consistent energy. Dogs tend to respond quickly to me — and both dogs and kids seem to sense that steady, grounded disposition. Every walk is about more than exercise. It’s about trust, structure, and care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and every client with the respect and reliability I’d expect for my own family. I maintain a structured weekly schedule so I can be dependable and fully present for each pet: • Mondays: Early mornings available (6:00–9:00 AM) Afternoon & evening available (2:30–10:00 PM) • Tuesdays: Available after 3:00 PM • Wednesdays: Available after 10:00 AM • Thursdays: Open availability • Fridays: Available after 4:00 PM • Weekends: Flexible availability I only accept bookings I can fully commit to, ensuring every walk or visit is calm, safe, and unhurried. How I Care for Pets Whether I’m caring for pets in my client’s home or during walks and drop-in visits, my approach is centered on safety, structure, and trust. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, temperament, and any training cues or boundaries already in place. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep things consistent, because dogs thrive on routine and calm leadership. I’m trained in reading body language and stress signals, which helps me adjust in real time and keep pets comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, organized, and low-impact. I leave the space as I found it and provide updates so owners feel informed and at ease. During walks, I prioritize safe leash handling, situational awareness, and positive reinforcement. I don’t rush walks — I allow time for exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation. Above all, I treat every pet as an individual. Some dogs want adventure, others need reassurance. My goal is always the same: a calm, safe, and positive experience for both the pet and their owner.
“Ra-Chel was phenomenal. She went out of her way to meet with me the night before her visit to meet Oliver and help alleviate some of my anxiety. She took time to play and and out with Oliver and made sure he was fed and happy before putting him in his bed.”

“Victoria was so sweet and attentive to my cat! I appreciate all the photos she sent me too! She was quick with her responses and easy to talk to. I will definitely rehire her if I’m in need again. Thank you so much!”

“Positively amazing! Met with me on short notice and took care of my pup later that same week. Good communication throughout and even went the extra mile to come back and let my dog go to the bathroom later in the evening at no extra charge! Would recommend 10/10 dog sitter! She is a life saver”

About: We’ve been raised around dogs and cats our whole life. As a result, we have vast experience of taking care of animals. Currently, we are the owners of 2 labrador retrievers, so we are in tune with the demands and joys of taking care of dogs. We are available for pet care in the morning before 7 and in the evening after 5 Monday through Friday. We are very flexible on the weekends. At our home, we have a fenced in small yard and also a dog park within my condominium which is spacious, clean, and fenced in. When taking care of dogs at other’s homes, we are willing to follow their instructions.
“Alanis took such great care of my anxious older cat. She followed all my instructions (even those super specific ones we all have for our unique pets?), and she was wonderfully communicative before, during, and after all of her check-ins. I arrived home to a very happy and content kitty who'd clearly had all her needs met while I was away. Thank you so much, Alanis!”
About: My name is Tara, and I am a nurse by day. I have two cats that are my children, and am always looking to love on other fur babies. I am available to walk dogs, do drop in visits, house-sit animals in a client's home, and administer medications. I can clean after pets and care for puppies and kittens as well. I have previously volunteered at animal shelters and worked with many different animals. Other than pet care, I love being outdoors and staying active in nature. I absolutely love to travel in my spare time. I am also available for farm animal care as well- although I don't have any experience in this I would really love to learn. Thank you for reading! I am taking a break from nursing for a couple months and my schedule is pretty flexible/open! I am happy to provide care during this time of transition. I am reliable, friendly, and safe in my interactions with pets. Regardless of the temperament of the animal, I can read animals body language well and know how to make them feel safe.
“Karmelita was amazing! Zippo can be kind of skittish with sitters, but had no problem coming out for her. Our cat needs medication regularly twice a day and Karmelita had no problem giving him the medication or with the schedule. And even stayed to play with him for a bit! She was an amazing communicator and took lots of photos. I highly recommend Karmelita and hope she is available next time we need someone to watch our cat!”

“Cynthia was really great with our 2 adult female cats! she was very responsive, stepping in last minute to do drop in visits after our original sitter fell through. Cynthia was very detail oriented and gave us great updates on each of her visits. We'd definitely consider using Cynthia the next time we need a pet sitter!”

“We booked this visit last minute due to our flights being canceled and having to drive cross country. She did not even hesitate to help us. Which made our lives so much easier during that time!! If you don’t have a sitter yet Kelsey’s the one!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for both cats and dogs for most of my life. I currently have a cat and a dog of my own, and I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and attentive to care for your pets. In addition to caring for my own animals, I have fostered a dog and successfully helped her find a loving forever home. I have experience with walking, feeding, bathing, administering medications, and providing plenty of attention, affection, and exercise based on each pet’s individual needs. When caring for pets, I treat them as if they were my own. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and comfort to ensure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, long walks, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I’m committed to providing reliable and compassionate care. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I currently work as a teacher, so I would be mainly available after 4:00pm on the weekends. During the weekend, summer, spring break, and winter break, I am available anytime. I live in a house. The backyard is fenced, there are food and water bowls, litter boxes, dog/cat beds. I have 1 dog that is the sweetest and loves to play. I have 3 cats that would not bother the dog. If the need medication, I of course give them their needed medicine. I talk my dogs to the beach, for a walk around the neighborhood, and they love car rides! They love toys!
About: I don’t have any professional experience when it comes to dogs but I’ve always been around dogs growing up and have always loved their company. Being around family members and friends dog over the years makes me confident and comfortable around animals. Currently almost around my roommates dog, she’s full of energy and we go on daily walks. A recent VET so my schedule is pretty open right now, just looking to help others take care of their fur babies in my free time. I care for pets as if they were my own, with the utmost care so they are safely returned and happier than when they left home. Respect is important and it’s always important to treat others and their fur babies how you would want you and your fur baby to be treated when you’re not around.
“CJ did a great job with the cats while I was gone for 10 days. He was able to come twice a day and hang out with them and give them the attention they needed. He updated me on everything and was easy to communicate with. He also shared great pictures from each visit! I came home to two happy cats.”

“Martha was phenomenal with my mini australian shepherd! She was always on time and quick to respond to any requests. I would definetly recommend her for any kind of pet, and I will be rebooking in the future! Thank you!”

Spring Valley cat parents share their Rover experiences
Karmelita was a true godsend for our two cats. It was great having someone check on the two boys and ensuring they were okay. She provided great photos of them and gave them much needed play. Overall I feel my cats did well under her care, vs the unattended check in my neighbors previously did. I will definitely consider booking Karmelita in the future.

Mackenzie was amazing! She took care of our cat like he was her own. My cat loved her. She was very communicative and sent pictures with every visit. We’re very impressed, and will definitely be using her services again in the future. Can’t recommend her enough

Kelsey was incredible! She was so kind and communicative with me about my kitties and any issues that arose (for example, my automatic litterbox got stuck and needed to be manually reset). I can tell she truly has a deep love and respect for all animals. One of my cats is very shy usually but by day 2 he was coming out to see her for treats and toys during their drop in! I came home to happy and healthy animals and Kelsey was even kind enough to bring my Amazon packages inside. This was a great experience and I’ll be using her in the future again for sure!

Ariana was wonderful in caring for our kitties (and small flock of chickens too). She played with them, cuddled with them and took care to check food/water supply too. We appreciated her communication and photo updates and are excited to use her again for pet care!

Sabrina goes above and beyond. She is great with our two feral cats, always being careful not to spook them by being loud. We are so pleased that they come out to visit while she is here (something they never do with strangers). She gives us peace of mind while we are gone!

Josie is amazing! She is truly the cat whisper. We were nervous leaving Mister behind for 9 days. Every neighbor we left him with, left him distraught and even though it was only 2 days at a time previously, he would be full of anxiety and all bound up. Chaos was happy and content when we got home. Highly recommend for your kitty sitting needs.
