“Bobbie was above and beyond amazing with my dogs. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She did everything I asked and more with her thoughtfulness. I confide in her work ethic and would recommend her to anyone who needs Petcare while they’re out of town!”

“Amber did a drop-in visit with me and did a good job with short notice because I needed to work late. She did a report card and sent a picture and did a good job with Bailey.”

“CJ did a great job with the cats while I was gone for 10 days. He was able to come twice a day and hang out with them and give them the attention they needed. He updated me on everything and was easy to communicate with. He also shared great pictures from each visit! I came home to two happy cats.”

“Tally was wonderful with my last-minute request to look in on my dog and take her for a walk when I needed to be away for most of the day and night. She took good care of my dog and took care to secure the house. I happily recommend Tally as a reliable pet care professional and I will use her services in the future if she is available.”

“Ra-chel was absolutely wonderful! She was communicative, punctual, and followed all of the instructions I gave her. I have a puppy and a 3-year-old dog with anxiety, and she took the time to make sure both of them were comfortable and cared for. She sent plenty of updates and photos—and from the looks of it, they were both very happy! I felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. We will definitely be using her services again. Highly recommend!”

“Cynthia was really great with our 2 adult female cats! she was very responsive, stepping in last minute to do drop in visits after our original sitter fell through. Cynthia was very detail oriented and gave us great updates on each of her visits. We'd definitely consider using Cynthia the next time we need a pet sitter!”

“Thank you for always taking such great care of our Carlee girl, making sure she had plenty of water on hot days, dog proofing the house as she got into mischief and getting rid of ants❣️”

“This was my first time using rover and I will most definitely be using Adrian again in the future! The daily and detailed updates/photos gave me wonderful peace of mind that my cat was in great hands while I was away. The daily check-ins were always that designated times and communications were quick & precise!”

About: Hi, I’m Ken 👋 I bring years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all temperaments, from playful pups to anxious and senior dogs who need a little extra patience. I’m a PAWS of Coronado Volunteer Behavior Training Level 1 graduate, and I’ve spent years volunteering in shelter environments where safety, calm handling, and compassion truly matter. I’ve also worked alongside canine police officers in training scenarios, giving me a strong foundation in reading dog behavior, maintaining control, and building trust through calm, consistent energy. Dogs tend to respond quickly to me — and both dogs and kids seem to sense that steady, grounded disposition. Every walk is about more than exercise. It’s about trust, structure, and care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and every client with the respect and reliability I’d expect for my own family. I maintain a structured weekly schedule so I can be dependable and fully present for each pet: • Mondays: Early mornings available (6:00–9:00 AM) Afternoon & evening available (2:30–10:00 PM) • Tuesdays: Available after 3:00 PM • Wednesdays: Available after 10:00 AM • Thursdays: Open availability • Fridays: Available after 4:00 PM • Weekends: Flexible availability I only accept bookings I can fully commit to, ensuring every walk or visit is calm, safe, and unhurried. How I Care for Pets Whether I’m caring for pets in my client’s home or during walks and drop-in visits, my approach is centered on safety, structure, and trust. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, temperament, and any training cues or boundaries already in place. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep things consistent, because dogs thrive on routine and calm leadership. I’m trained in reading body language and stress signals, which helps me adjust in real time and keep pets comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, organized, and low-impact. I leave the space as I found it and provide updates so owners feel informed and at ease. During walks, I prioritize safe leash handling, situational awareness, and positive reinforcement. I don’t rush walks — I allow time for exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation. Above all, I treat every pet as an individual. Some dogs want adventure, others need reassurance. My goal is always the same: a calm, safe, and positive experience for both the pet and their owner.
About: I don’t have any professional experience when it comes to dogs but I’ve always been around dogs growing up and have always loved their company. Being around family members and friends dog over the years makes me confident and comfortable around animals. Currently almost around my roommates dog, she’s full of energy and we go on daily walks. A recent VET so my schedule is pretty open right now, just looking to help others take care of their fur babies in my free time. I care for pets as if they were my own, with the utmost care so they are safely returned and happier than when they left home. Respect is important and it’s always important to treat others and their fur babies how you would want you and your fur baby to be treated when you’re not around.
“Victoria was so sweet and attentive to my cat! I appreciate all the photos she sent me too! She was quick with her responses and easy to talk to. I will definitely rehire her if I’m in need again. Thank you so much!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Spring Valley
This was our second time asking Sahba to take care of our cats, and once again she did an amazing job. Sahba asked questions whenever something came up, which gave us peace of mind. She also sent us lots of photos and videos of our cats while we were away. We felt completely comfortable leaving our home and our cats in her care. We highly recommend her!

Kelsey was incredible! She was so kind and communicative with me about my kitties and any issues that arose (for example, my automatic litterbox got stuck and needed to be manually reset). I can tell she truly has a deep love and respect for all animals. One of my cats is very shy usually but by day 2 he was coming out to see her for treats and toys during their drop in! I came home to happy and healthy animals and Kelsey was even kind enough to bring my Amazon packages inside. This was a great experience and I’ll be using her in the future again for sure!

Ariana was wonderful in caring for our kitties (and small flock of chickens too). She played with them, cuddled with them and took care to check food/water supply too. We appreciated her communication and photo updates and are excited to use her again for pet care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
