About: I have never known a life without a pet of some kind. Having animals, I learned very early on the importance of responsibility as well as empathy for the feelings and lives of others. Because they can’t speak like we do, it is important to be attentive as well as respectful of their needs. I have 10+ years of experience from not only my own array of pets (dogs, geckos, horses, chickens, ratties, cats, etc), but also from my main line of work. I have been an in home nursing assistant for 5 years, beginning with taking care of my great grandmother and her dog in her home which blossomed into the career I know and love today. My integrity and compassion for both animals and humans has led to many opportunities for me. From walking dogs for neighbors and friends, grooming assistance, occasional medical assistance, Overnight sitting/boarding, and even small excursions for enrichment, all the way down to childcare in some cases. There is a park less than 5 minutes walking distance as well that I’d be happy to take your pet to visit for potty breaks and play, should that be okay with you. I don’t particularly like to crate dogs, however, if that is their safe space or they happen to be crate trained that’s no issue at all/is appreciated if they do not do well being left alone for an hour or so at a time. Communication is key and you will always be contacted should anything of concern arise.
