I've owned and cared for cats, dogs, birds (parakeets + cockatiels), freshwater fish, toads, ferrets, and event rats! About: Hey there! I've been in raising and training dogs for a while and had a fun doing it. I’m originally from San Diego and am home for a few months after finishing my masters degree at Columbia University. While I don't have a pup of my own right now, I'm all about providing top-notch care. I absolutely love strolling around local parks, and exploring new places! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I've got some wiggle room to hang out with your furry pal throughout the week and over the weekends. Can’t wait to meet your fur-baby– they'll be in pawsitively great hands! RE: PRICES- I totally get times are tough, so I'm all ears for working out prices. Being in grad school, I’m available all evenings, free each weekend and have several gaps throughout the week! I take walks daily before/after work and on the weekends and would love to have a furry companion! I live near a few parks but there are many other parks walking distance from here. In my clients home, I will be sure to respect their belongings and be sure to keep any safety hazards away from their pets.

About: I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and making them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I'm active, patient, and love going on walks, playing, or just keeping them company. I'll care for your dog the same way I would my own. Pet care is already part of my everyday life because of my own dog, Taco. He's super active, so walks and park trips are already part of my everyday routine. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs, so dog walking and drop in visits fit naturally into my schedule. I'm available weekday afternoons and anytime on weekends. I always want dogs to feel safe and comfortable around me. On walks, I pay attention to their pace, surroundings, and anything that could stress them out. In a client's home, I follow their routine and make sure their dog feels relaxed and cared for. They typically are timid and bark at new people for a while after entering the home, but when she came in, they took so quickly to her and my most fearful and timid dog did not bark at her nonstop. He actually went up to her quicker than any other dog sitter previously. Michaela sent updates throughout the visit and kept me up to date. The dogs really seemed to like her which was such a blessing. Having 3 large dogs can be intimidating, but Michaela was at ease and did a wonderful job. “Angelina was an absolutely wonderful house sitter! She took care of our 3 cats and 1 dog for almost 2 weeks. She gave us updates throughout our trip. The pets seemed very well taken care of and they warmed up to Angelina very quickly. Our pets we happy, healthy, clean, and well fed when we got back from our trip. She gave our babies lots of attention, esp our dog who can be very hyperactive. She also went above and beyond for them when she stayed a while longer after her booked time to make sure they kids were taken care of until we got home even though she didn't need to! About: I've had the pleasure of caring for all kinds of animals big and small. Seizure disorder, elderly, puppies, high-energy dogs are all welcome! I am able to administer medicine and follow any particular rules you'd like. Between my husband and I we both are home Monday thru Sunday. Always home with our pups and yours! No kids or cats live here. Just a husband and wife and 2 amazingly friendly dogs. We have a large property with a fenced yard all around. We plan to use an AirTag for increased safety for all our doggy guests.

About: I grew up on a rescue farm, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me, and I’ve truly never met one I didn’t adore. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own! I have experience fostering and dog-sitting pups of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors. I’m also comfortable working with dogs who have medical needs or unique personalities, whether they’re high-energy, shy, reactive, or a little anxious in new settings. I am a dog person to my core and have loved them all! I work from home Monday - Friday, so my situation is ideal for boarding and daycare as well as shorter overnights. I enjoy being outdoors as much as I enjoy a night in, so I can be flexible depending on each dog's needs. I live in a walkable neighborhood where I only need to be away from home for short periods of time to go grocery shopping or to hit the gym. I have always had a dog (though I am currently dog-free, unfortunately), so I am naturally attuned to their schedules and needs. I live in a very dog-friendly complex in a very residential neighborhood. I have lots of experience with controlled walks, crate training, and general dog safety, including emergency care and safe/proper introductions with other dog-friendly dogs. I live alone in a very calm, peaceful environment, and am conscientious of respecting a dog's space and know the importance of maintaining a semi-normal schedule while they're in a new/unfamiliar environment.

About: I've grown up with cats since I was 8 and began petsitting for people in my 1st couple years of college around 2015. I've done both dogsitting and catsitting for people and I love both animals equally! I have petsat for people with animals of all ages, with the youngest dog I have watched being about 8-10 months and the oldest being about 14 or 15. I love exploring new places and being outdoors especially since I live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. with the best weather! I find it equally enjoyable to see a dog smile and to see him/her bring joy to their owner and to people around them. I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. Feel free to reach out via text to clarify this, especially if your pet has specific needs or needs to be taken out more frequently to use the restroom.

About: I am an animal lover and I have been lucky enough to love and care for many. I am a former volunteer at Project Wildlife and now a current foster mom for the Humane Society. I am lucky enough to have very flexible work schedule. I am home most of the time. However, my first job as a mother to my 2 girls is my priority. First I follow and respect all rules and requests by the pet parents. Your home and pets will be loved and cared for as it were my own.
