She sent us lots of good updates and photos which showed our dog and kitten were having a good time. She is an amazing resource when it comes to cats since she volunteers and a big cat Sanctuary, and with her degree in animal law and her passion for animal advocacy, we knew Huntington and Remi were in the best hands possible for their care! They typically are timid and bark at new people for a while after entering the home, but when she came in, they took so quickly to her and my most fearful and timid dog did not bark at her nonstop. He actually went up to her quicker than any other dog sitter previously. Michaela sent updates throughout the visit and kept me up to date. The dogs really seemed to like her which was such a blessing. Having 3 large dogs can be intimidating, but Michaela was at ease and did a wonderful job. About: Growing up, I’ve always had pets. I love animals more than anything, and i’m currently in school to become a Veterinary Technician. I attend Grossmont College as a Ceramics student, to further my hobby into a future part time career. We have two boston terriers at home, who are 4 and 6. i have experience caring for disabled pups as i had a 16 year old dachshund who had been paralyzed. while i don’t have a cat currently, i grew up with cats and love them dearly. I’ve pet sit for neighbors and friends since i was 16, watching dogs and cats of various sizes, energies, and behaviors. I’m available for overnight stays if you’re headed out of town, or a drop by visit if you need someone to feed and play with your baby while away! Whether you have one pup or a whole little crew, my goal is for everyone to feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re gone, and for you to be able to relax knowing your pets and home are in good hands. I work remotely and run my own small business, so my schedule is super flexible. I can work around your pet’s normal routine and I’m around a lot during the day. Walks, meals, potty breaks, playtime, or just hanging out while I work all fit pretty naturally into my day. I try to keep things as normal as possible for your pets while you’re gone.
