They typically are timid and bark at new people for a while after entering the home, but when she came in, they took so quickly to her and my most fearful and timid dog did not bark at her nonstop. He actually went up to her quicker than any other dog sitter previously. Michaela sent updates throughout the visit and kept me up to date. The dogs really seemed to like her which was such a blessing. Having 3 large dogs can be intimidating, but Michaela was at ease and did a wonderful job. About: Your dogs will be able to go to the dog park and given treats for good deeds. They'll be able to play with toys and have a constant water supply. I am open to washing and grooming the dog as well if you ask. They will get all my attention. Regarding to my schedule, I go to college everyday at 2pm and I arrive home at different times each day. I am completely available during the weekends. I have had experience before of dog sitting and the owner can vouch for me that I did a great job. I walked the dog, cleaned up their business, made sure the house was tidy, I grabbed their mail when they asked, and more. Your dog will be well taken care of.

He's super active, so walks and park trips are already part of my everyday routine. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs, so dog walking and drop in visits fit naturally into my schedule. About: I’ve had about 13 dogs of different breeds in my lifetime. Every dog that I’ve had in my life still carry on in my heart. I was responsible for all of my dogs and made sure to attend to their needs in a safe manner. I’m able to work any day of the week as long as it’s 8-3pm. I’m just not available around 4-6, but I am able to care for them in my home if necessary. We have a screen door and our parking lot is gated, so there is no way for them to get through. There is also a park nearby that is great for walking.

About: I've had pets my whole life, and I've always been considered the animal whisperer of my family. I've owned and cared for cats, dogs, birds (parakeets + cockatiels), freshwater fish, toads, ferrets, and event rats! I'm very in tune and informed on common health issues or changes in behavior that may indicate health problems I just recently moved to the El Cajon area and would love to care for your pets :) My availability is currently fully open! I’m originally from San Diego and am home for a few months after finishing my masters degree at Columbia University. While I don't have a pup of my own right now, I'm all about providing top-notch care. I absolutely love strolling around local parks, and exploring new places! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I've got some wiggle room to hang out with your furry pal throughout the week and over the weekends. About: I grew up with so many animals around me! My mom has 3 cats and 2 dogs, and my dad has the opposite, 3 dogs and two cats. For a semester at college, I volunteered at a small cat adoption area where I would clean, play, and process cat adoptions. About: I've had the pleasure of caring for all kinds of animals big and small. Seizure disorder, elderly, puppies, high-energy dogs are all welcome! I am able to administer medicine and follow any particular rules you'd like. Between my husband and I we both are home Monday thru Sunday. Always home with our pups and yours! No kids or cats live here. Just a husband and wife and 2 amazingly friendly dogs. We have a large property with a fenced yard all around. We plan to use an AirTag for increased safety for all our doggy guests.

About: I've grown up with cats since I was 8 and began petsitting for people in my 1st couple years of college around 2015. I've done both dogsitting and catsitting for people and I love both animals equally! I have petsat for people with animals of all ages, with the youngest dog I have watched being about 8-10 months and the oldest being about 14 or 15. I love exploring new places and being outdoors especially since I live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. with the best weather! I find it equally enjoyable to see a dog smile and to see him/her bring joy to their owner and to people around them. I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. Feel free to reach out via text to clarify this, especially if your pet has specific needs or needs to be taken out more frequently to use the restroom.
