“Michaela was great with our gentle giants. They typically are timid and bark at new people for a while after entering the home, but when she came in, they took so quickly to her and my most fearful and timid dog did not bark at her nonstop. He actually went up to her quicker than any other dog sitter previously. Michaela sent updates throughout the visit and kept me up to date. The dogs really seemed to like her which was such a blessing. Having 3 large dogs can be intimidating, but Michaela was at ease and did a wonderful job. I definitely would recommend her and will use her again in the future.”

“Amanda is an absolute gem! She took such great care of our girls, Piper and Roux. They got walks, cuddles, time outside to play, and we got photos and videos throughout the time we were away. Amanda made sure to connect with us on prep beforehand, as well as any questions while we were away. About: I've had pets my whole life, and I've always been considered the animal whisperer of my family. I've owned and cared for cats, dogs, birds (parakeets + cockatiels), freshwater fish, toads, ferrets, and event rats! I'm very in tune and informed on common health issues or changes in behavior that may indicate health problems I just recently moved to the El Cajon area and would love to care for your pets :) My availability is currently fully open! I was told her she could leave at 6pm and we would be home at 10pm but she didn’t want to leave the dog along so she left around 9pm so they would not be left alone. I will rebook her”

About: I first started looking after and caring for dogs when I was 20 yrs old. Before that we had pet dogs at home. Growing up I have always had a good connection with dogs. Even after being bite more than once lol. It takes what it takes to build trust and I always have been good with dogs because I love them. I will love yours when they come to stay. Have a gated and fenced in yard for them to be safe Former contractor. I am currently at home as I transition out of the construction industry into this field that I love. I am excited for a change. I have a large gated yard and safe environment for dogs to play and room around if they choose to do so. They are always monitored and never left alone.

About: I have about 10 years of house sitting experience. I am comfortable with all types of animal. From dogs and cats to turtles and chickens! I currently work in education on Monday-Friday 7:30-4pm. I am excited to do walks after work and snuggles in the evening. And lots of love and playing of the weekends. About: I'm very accustomed to all kinds of dogs! From pups to elderly dogs, small to large I'm the right guy for the job. I've raised all 3 of my dogs from puppies along with helping friends with theirs. I have tons of experience in cleaning and keeping them busy so I am more then happy to help with watching pups! I also have experience with elderly dogs that require medical treatment, as long as I get a detailed explanation on the steps to help I'll be able to follow them perfectly. I also live with very large dogs so I have all the experience with how to handle them no problem. I'm currently on summer break so I have plenty of time to look over your pets! I am very willing to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays. I have 2 very friendly dogs while my third is pretty territorial so while I can make sure your dogs are safe and acclimate them to the others, I feel it would be best to stay at your house.

About: I've grown up with cats since I was 8 and began petsitting for people in my 1st couple years of college around 2015. I've done both dogsitting and catsitting for people and I love both animals equally! I have petsat for people with animals of all ages, with the youngest dog I have watched being about 8-10 months and the oldest being about 14 or 15. I love exploring new places and being outdoors especially since I live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. with the best weather! I find it equally enjoyable to see a dog smile and to see him/her bring joy to their owner and to people around them. I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. About: I've had the pleasure of caring for all kinds of animals big and small. Seizure disorder, elderly, puppies, high-energy dogs are all welcome! I am able to administer medicine and follow any particular rules you'd like. Between my husband and I we both are home Monday thru Sunday. Always home with our pups and yours! No kids or cats live here. Just a husband and wife and 2 amazingly friendly dogs. We have a large property with a fenced yard all around. We plan to use an AirTag for increased safety for all our doggy guests.
