When caring for pets in someone else's home, it is really important to follow the standards set forth by the pet owners. Most pets have a set routine and it is important to stick with their routine while providing lots of love and attention.

About: Rescued my current 5 year old dog from being abandoned in Tijuana. Spent every day with her since, I have so much love for animals especially dogs. I’m currently working part time and am looking for a side hustle that can help others and something that I love at the same time. I have 1 medium sized dog and 3 cats, I know how they both can be, I’ve seen the good and the bad and know how to handle situations.

About: I've grown up with cats since I was 8 and began petsitting for people in my 1st couple years of college around 2015. I've done both dogsitting and catsitting for people and I love both animals equally! I have petsat for people with animals of all ages, with the youngest dog I have watched being about 8-10 months and the oldest being about 14 or 15. I love exploring new places and being outdoors especially since I live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. with the best weather! I find it equally enjoyable to see a dog smile and to see him/her bring joy to their owner and to people around them. I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. Feel free to reach out via text to clarify this, especially if your pet has specific needs or needs to be taken out more frequently to use the restroom.

About: I’ve had a guinea pig, a bunny, and 2 dogs. I’ve always been an animal person. And I help my friends out by taking care of there pets. It depends on the my work day sense I do freelance contracting for production work. But I would have to what day you would want to book me for and times. It depends on how friendly the animal is and how many days I am pet sitting for. But I will feed, bathe, play and be around to watch what they do.

About: i currently am working at a puppy adoption place where i am an ACT kinda like a puppy nurse and i take care of these puppies all day long with training, medications, vaccinations , grooming, etc. I have taken care of many breeds and sizes of dogs since i was little. I absolutely love dogs and i have walked, overnight sat, feed, washed, etc all kinds of dogs i work 5 days out of the week but mainly mornings and am available from 3 until night. i am pretty flexible with my schedule. i have a dog myself that i take care of as well I have a dog park right across the grass at my apartment complex, i have my own dog that is playful and can keep your pet company.

About: Hi there! I’ve had my own dogs and cats my whole life and have done pet sitting for over 10 years. I am also well-versed in dog training and have worked extensively with cats at a pet resort. They call me the animal whisperer. 😋 I am a freelance photographer so my schedule is very flexible. I am available on weekdays and weekends and you can guarantee you’ll get some nice photos of your furry friend while you’re away. I have a senior cat at home so I don’t allow other pets at my home but I’m available for drop ins and walk dates no problem.

About: Being raised in the rural parts of El Cajon, with my mom being apart of the AKC- American Kennel Club, I spent a lot of time around animals. Learning at a young age how to properly interact with dogs. I have walked up to three small dogs at the same time that belonged to my land-lord of 5 years. Even though these three dogs were considered aggressive toward other people, they loved and trusted me and I loved them back. I enjoy being around small animals and spending quality time with them. I am retired from the County of San Diego where I worked for 16 years. I am very flexible, reliable and punctual. I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies.
