About: Growing up, I’ve always had pets. I love animals more than anything, and i’m currently in school to become a Veterinary Technician. I attend Grossmont College as a Ceramics student, to further my hobby into a future part time career. We have two boston terriers at home, who are 4 and 6. i have experience caring for disabled pups as i had a 16 year old dachshund who had been paralyzed. while i don’t have a cat currently, i grew up with cats and love them dearly. I’ve pet sit for neighbors and friends since i was 16, watching dogs and cats of various sizes, energies, and behaviors. I’m available for overnight stays if you’re headed out of town, or a drop by visit if you need someone to feed and play with your baby while away! I hope you’ll consider me to watch your furry friend 🩷 I am a part time student at grossmont college, and grossmont adult school. Both are evening attendance. Class duration: Monday/Wednesday: 5:45pm-8:35pm Tuesday/Thursdays: 2pm-8pm Friday-Sunday: Open I’m happy to arrange a meeting with you prior to the job to see the home, and meet the animals. Please leave/send information about the animals feeding schedule, food type, medications/vitamins, and directions about your home. Overnight stays: I will bring my own food, i just ask to use the fridge :) Im okay with sleeping on the couch! Your home will be tidied up before i leave; you’ll find it just the way you left it.

About: I absolutely love taking care of my dogs and I treat any pets just as I do my own. I was especially drawn to Rover after long-term dog sitting these 2 wonderful Dobermans, it made me want to create even more special bonds just like that. I am used to incorporating 1-3 dogs + a cat into a daily routine (for several years). I really enjoy long walks and playing outside or even napping with my dogs. I do try to work on small behavioral training such as sit and stay on a daily basis. I will always be on top of it to make sure your dog stays on schedule and give endless cuddles so they stay happy as well.

They typically are timid and bark at new people for a while after entering the home, but when she came in, they took so quickly to her and my most fearful and timid dog did not bark at her nonstop. He actually went up to her quicker than any other dog sitter previously. Michaela sent updates throughout the visit and kept me up to date. The dogs really seemed to like her which was such a blessing. Having 3 large dogs can be intimidating, but Michaela was at ease and did a wonderful job. I definitely would recommend her and will use her again in the future.”

About: I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and making them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I'm active, patient, and love going on walks, playing, or just keeping them company. I'll care for your dog the same way I would my own. Pet care is already part of my everyday life because of my own dog, Taco. He's super active, so walks and park trips are already part of my everyday routine. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs, so dog walking and drop in visits fit naturally into my schedule. I'm available weekday afternoons and anytime on weekends. I always want dogs to feel safe and comfortable around me. On walks, I pay attention to their pace, surroundings, and anything that could stress them out. In a client's home, I follow their routine and make sure their dog feels relaxed and cared for. I treat my dog like they're my own ❤️

About: Growing up surrounded by a variety of animals has given me a deep understanding of their care, behavior, and needs. Over the years, I have had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of animals, including canines, equines, goats, reptiles, and arachnids. My current "fur family" includes four dogs—Emma and Levi (Border Collies), Strauss and Mazi (Belgian Malinois)—as well as two cats, Ferb (Domestic Shorthair) and Phineas (Domestic Longhair), and two horses, Chester (Quarter Horse x Belgian Cross) and Maggy (Thoroughbred). About: I've grown up with cats since I was 8 and began petsitting for people in my 1st couple years of college around 2015. I've done both dogsitting and catsitting for people and I love both animals equally! I have petsat for people with animals of all ages, with the youngest dog I have watched being about 8-10 months and the oldest being about 14 or 15. I love exploring new places and being outdoors especially since I live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. with the best weather! I find it equally enjoyable to see a dog smile and to see him/her bring joy to their owner and to people around them. I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. Feel free to reach out via text to clarify this, especially if your pet has specific needs or needs to be taken out more frequently to use the restroom.
