About: I have cared for dogs since I was about 7 years old. I’ve owned or have pet sat for all ages, sizes, and breeds. From puppies, to 15 year old doggos, I’ve got your back! I am currently a student, so making a couple of pup friends sounds like a great way to spend time outside, get active, and be helpful! I have a fenced yard and two cats. I always walk dogs on a leash, on the sidewalk, in well lit, pet-friendly/safe areas. I have multiple dog parks nearby that I would be open to taking your dog to (upon request only).

About: I have never known a life without a pet of some kind. Having animals, I learned very early on the importance of responsibility as well as empathy for the feelings and lives of others. Just as we pay attention to human body language for cues, the same standard comes into play for animals. Because they can’t speak like we do, it is important to be attentive as well as respectful of their needs. I have 10+ years of experience from not only my own array of pets (dogs, geckos, horses, chickens, ratties, cats, etc), but also from my main line of work. I have been an in home nursing assistant for 5 years, beginning with taking care of my great grandmother and her dog in her home which blossomed into the career I know and love today. There is a park less than 5 minutes walking distance as well that I’d be happy to take your pet to visit for potty breaks and play, should that be okay with you. I don’t particularly like to crate dogs, however, if that is their safe space or they happen to be crate trained that’s no issue at all/is appreciated if they do not do well being left alone for an hour or so at a time. Communication is key and you will always be contacted should anything of concern arise.

I’m currently working part-time evenings in La Mesa, typically 3:00p-8:30p at the most. I am off work and completely free on Mon/Tue/, but I am available throughout the week to drop-in and housesit, provided I can fit it around my work schedule. I’m very flexible!
