Hi my name is Courtney I am new to Rover, but familiar with animals. PLEASE READ: I am offering “dog running” services. This is primarily for high energy larger dogs. Who need to run to release extra energy. Running will be 3-5+ miles and will vary by breed. I have the proper running hydration and leases. Morning and evenings only. Afternoon runs will be available in fall and winter only. Marathon runner who has a passion for running and dogs. I work with at least 40-90 dogs a day at my other job working at a doggie camp. While working I have become familiar with pet behaviors and training methods. Dogs and cats need patience, love and understanding. This is something I want to incorporate in my pet sitting which will take time and bonding with your pet. Just like humans pets can become anxious over new changes, a new home or human. This is why I only offer in home visits so your pet is happiest in their environment. Please note while I love walking your amazing fur babies, dog walking is only provided for over night visits.

For the comfort of the pets I only offer in house visits so the pets feel more comfortable in their own environment. Eventually over time I have found after 2-3 booking the pets become accustomed to overnight pet sitting and they are more relaxed when their family members go out of town. Just like humans pets love consistency.
Ratings and reviews
Five stars is not enough. From the first minute of meeting Courtney I was comforted by her calm and warm demeanor. I knew my two large dogs were in good hands which helped relieve some of the anxiety of leaving your dogs at home. Courtney is excellent at communicating, setting expectations, and making sure she has everything she needs to care for your dogs. She provided lots of photos and updates, and I got to see that my anxious velcro dog had quickly warmed up to her. Unfortunately a breaker tripped during her sit, but Courtney went above and beyond to help troubleshoot and get things squared away with power at the house. I will absolutely book with Courtney again and I’m more likely to travel knowing my boys are in good hands. Thank you Courtney, you are the best.
Courtney did a wonderful job watching Danso and taking care of my house while I was gone she gave plenty of updates. I would highly recommend her.
Courtney is the absolute best! Our dogs love her, and we know they are in good hands with her. She is our go to whenever we need to be away from home. We cannot recommend Courtney any more than possible.

Schedule
I am free early evenings for a 12-15 hour span. I found this to be beneficial for the pets so they have companionship in the evenings. So the pets know someone will be home with them. This allows me to feed them dinner and wake up early enough for breakfast and any walking that is needed.
