About: I have worked with pets for over 10 years caring for and feeding, also medicating if needed. I have worked with and owned various animals such as reptiles, amphibians, spiders, dogs, cats, chinchillas, ferrets, birds and many more. I love working closely with animals and sharing connections with them. I was a dog trainer for Petco for 3 years, and plan to eventually open my own animal training center and sanctuary for large breed canines and felines. I have experience in bathing dogs and cats including nails, teeth, and trimming new growth hair around the face, feet, and sanitary areas. About: I've grown up with cats since I was 8 and began petsitting for people in my 1st couple years of college around 2015. I've done both dogsitting and catsitting for people and I love both animals equally! I have petsat for people with animals of all ages, with the youngest dog I have watched being about 8-10 months and the oldest being about 14 or 15. I love exploring new places and being outdoors especially since I live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. with the best weather! I find it equally enjoyable to see a dog smile and to see him/her bring joy to their owner and to people around them. I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. Feel free to reach out via text to clarify this, especially if your pet has specific needs or needs to be taken out more frequently to use the restroom.

About: I grew up with many pets and learned how to care for them exceptionally well. I understand giving them boundaries and having fun playing with them are both keys to great care. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs as I am a very active person who loves exploring as much as your dog does! When I started pet sitting about 15 years ago I found I had a gift for helping dogs and cats who have a hard time adjusting when their owners are away. I have watched my dogs for days at a time while my parents were gone along with walking and feeding them. I have also helped neighbors with pet sitting and walking dogs when needed! “Julia is EXCEPTIONAL!!! She went above and beyond for my cat and I am so extremely grateful! He is on sticky syringe medication twice a day and gets probiotics in his food so not the easiest. She handled all my cat operating instructions perfectly! My place was cleaner than when I left it, she even cleaned the little moat for his food to prevent ants from getting to it. Julia is also very intuitive, and in all the amazing photos and videos she sent, she showed my cat on her lap for pets, which is something I do and she played with him the same way that I do AND she spent extra time with him. Morgan was so calm and content when I got home, and his digestion was not affected by my leaving, which is so rare. I think he was disappointed I was back because Julia is absolutely the BEST and I highly recommend her!!!”

About: Lived with pets all my life. Dogs, cats, domesticated rats, fish, my grandparents even had a farm I helped out on when I was growing up. I am currently working full-time at Sherwin-Williams and am looking for extra income to save up for some trips and concerts and I would like to attend. California dreamin I have a cat and a dog myself. She is well mannered and we go on walks several times a day for exercise and is just a big baby. The cat actually requires the more strict care routine.
