About: I grew up with many pets and learned how to care for them exceptionally well. I understand giving them boundaries and having fun playing with them are both keys to great care. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs as I am a very active person who loves exploring as much as your dog does! When I started pet sitting about 15 years ago I found I had a gift for helping dogs and cats who have a hard time adjusting when their owners are away. I also specialize in senior care as I’m willing to do anything needed to help your dog or cat be comfortable, eat well, and feel loved. I interact with each one as the unique individual they are. Let me know all about your pet’s personality and special needs so I can be the closest thing to having you at home as possible. I’m currently in school a couple days a week and have flexible work which gives me plenty of time to play with your pups during the week and on weekends. I only care for pets at your home. I have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to be there when needed. I can also do overnight house and pet sitting if needed.
About: Been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager. Experienced in pets, cuddles, mess clean ups, walks and giving medicine as needed! Can't wait to meet your pet! My schedule is open for helping take care of your critters! I am available throughout the day most days to provide the needed care for your cats and dogs! When caring for pets in someone else's home, it is really important to follow the standards set forth by the pet owners. Most pets have a set routine and it is important to stick with their routine while providing lots of love and attention.
“This is our second time with Kaitlyn. She watched our puppy last time and this time she watched our cats while we were out of town. She sent us updates everyday with lots of photos. She is very reliable and took great care of our cats. Thank you Kaitlyn!”

“Nate and Ray are the absolute best! I feel so much peace at work knowing that my pups are being taken care of. I have one dog with pretty bad separation anxiety and having Nate and Ray stop in has been life changing. I used to dread coming home from work and cleaning up the destruction from my dogs, but now I come home to two tired pups with no accidents in the house. Thank you so much!”
About: I've had a lifelong passion for working with dogs and cats, and I've spent the past eight years dedicated to the pet industry. Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from puppies to seniors. Whether it's feeding, potty walks, playtime, or grooming, I have extensive experience and a deep love for caring for furry friends. I’m excited to share my expertise with your pet! Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine as I have an open schedule and am not working full-time elsewhere. This allows me to provide flexible and attentive care to your pet, ensuring they get the attention, playtime, and routine they need throughout the day! In my home, I create a comfortable, pet-friendly environment where your furry friend can feel safe and relaxed. I ensure they have plenty of space to play, rest, and enjoy their time with me. I also follow any specific instructions you provide to make sure their routine stays consistent. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize their comfort and well-being by maintaining their usual routines, whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, or playtime. I provide plenty of attention, love, and care while ensuring your home remains safe and tidy. My goal is to offer a stress-free experience for both you and your pet!

I have a large yard for plenty of play but it is NOT fenced so please no run a ways please :) I homeschool and work part time from home. The kids and I are home most days and only leave for a few hours at a time for activities like gymnastics or soccer. Both my dogs are friendly and not food aggressive at all. They free feed out of the same bowl. I have ways of separating or crating if need be. I’m very good with reading behavior and gaining trust.

About: I've grown up with cats since I was 8 and began petsitting for people in my 1st couple years of college around 2015. I've done both dogsitting and catsitting for people and I love both animals equally! I have petsat for people with animals of all ages, with the youngest dog I have watched being about 8-10 months and the oldest being about 14 or 15. I love exploring new places and being outdoors especially since I live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. with the best weather! I find it equally enjoyable to see a dog smile and to see him/her bring joy to their owner and to people around them. I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. Feel free to reach out via text to clarify this, especially if your pet has specific needs or needs to be taken out more frequently to use the restroom.
About: When you want someone who does much more than the bare minimum, that’s where I come in. Pets can have a difficult time when you’re gone. They’re nervous about having someone else in the house and they miss you. Having someone there who truly cares about what your pets may need in order to have as much peace as possible until your home matters. Do they feel more comfortable with my hand coming from the side or the back when they’re pet? I’ll find out. Do they feel more comfortable with me in a certain line of site until they get to know me a bit? I’ll find out what that is. Their favorite toy? What makes them anxious? What makes them happy? I’ll find it. I bring a patient, calm and playful energy to bring as much comfort as I can! Pet care is my full time job right now! I have the availability I need so your pet isn’t lonely! It helps with bathroom needs and an overall homey environment. This is dependent on what each client and pets need. I’m versatile, and open to individual needs. I do more than take them to the bathroom and feed them. I like to make sure they feel loved and comforted and each pet has their own way that they experience that.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I learned how to wash dishes! I’ve walked dogs and puppies from 10lbs to larger dogs of 120lbs + When I spend time with animals, even in short amounts of times, special bonds are formed. Both parties just have a blast to be honest. I’ve wanted to be a Veterinarian my whole life but as things have changed this is the closest thing to it. I hope you’ll choose me as your trusted sitter! I’m currently in the military Active Duty Shore. I do drop in visits around lunch time, and I’m up early in the morning for early morning walks and feedings before work starts on weekdays. After 4pm we play, go for walks, eat and play again. On weekends I’m available whenever. Sundays mornings are exceptions, being that I attend church. I only take care of crate trained animals in my home. Animals who are potty trained, and nothing bigger than 25lbs. I do live in a gated community with plenty of room to walk and run around outdoors. I also have a spacious living room and dining room area with no furniture. Spacious for small animals, their crates, and their zoomies! I do not have any pets or children. When it comes to clients homes, I clean when needed. And I stick to whatever schedule I’ve been given.
About: I have two dogs of my own, a 18Lb Maltipoo and a 70 Lb American Bully. They are my family and want the best quality of living and care for them. I am passionate about protecting our pets and keeping them safe. I have trained both of my dogs myself. I spend a lot of time with my pets and ensure to take them out to play or walk for a minimum of 2 hours a day. On rainy days we run around inside my home. The quality of life I provide for my dogs is the same quality of care I provide for dogs around me and under my care. I work from home 2-3 times a week and the days that I do need to travel for work I am only gone for about 4-5 hours. I am able to be flexible with my time. I have a fenced little yard but I also like to take the dogs out for trail walks or play catch in a field near my home (no other dogs are around). For safety reasons I don’t go to dog parks or allow my dogs to interact with dogs I do not know. When going to clients home I am open to walking dogs around the neighborhood and playing with them during my time with them. If your dog is more of a cuddle bug I am open to giving them that extra affection. My dogs are crate trained for safety reasons.
About: I have had pets my whole life. Growing up with a cat, dog, and horse taught me a lot about responsibility and understanding what is needed to care for another life. I’ve since been cat sitting and dog walking around my hometown, San Diego, CA! I am currently a college student on summer break looking to fill some hours walking dogs and taking care of pets! It is a great opportunity to get outside and enjoy animals since I’m not able to have one myself in the city. I am always incredibly responsible when entering anyone’s home. I am trustworthy and could connect you to further references of house sitting jobs I’ve done if needed.
“Marla was so great! One of our cats required meds twice a daily and Marla perfectly handled our cats needs. She sent us tons of photos and incredibly detailed reports so we knew our cats were in good hands. She’s amazing!!”
About: Hello! I am 27 years old and I have a range of experience with many different breeds, personalities and sizes! In my past, I’ve had a Golden Retriever, a Lab, three Pitbulls, a Pit/Husky mix, an English bulldog and a Miniature Schnauzer. I have very personal experience with a reactive and anxious pup and am more than willing to take my time to build that trust. I've also obtained a Certification in Veterinary Assistance and with my range of experience combined, I'm easily able to navigate through emergency situations and regular daily medical routines. Though I no longer practice Vet Med, I continue to stay updated with new techniques and treatments in order to stay proficient. I am currently in Pilot Training here in California to become a Commercial Pilot. Due to my training, I am unavailable my schedule changes weekly but able to give a notice a week in advance. I'm otherwise super flexible and am willing to come out same day! I unfortunately can't keep any pets in my home but willing to drive to you! My personal experience with the different breeds of dogs I’ve had in my lifetime has made me more than qualified for this position. I’m just looking for a part time job that I can enjoy, nothing better than being around a furry friend! ***For July dates and on, I am at the end of my training here in San Diego and will be relocating after. Because of that, I will not be able to give a set answer on my availability until mid June*** I'm currently unemployed during training so I'm basically free almost everyday. I get my schedule a week in advance so I'm able to give that much of a notice or if far enough in advance, I'm able to put in a request in my training schedule to accommodate to your pet's needs. But I have many hours after to spare throughout the week for a long walk or a drop in! If in dire need, I can walk/drop in around 6am. Please try to give a 2 hour notice just in case for traffic reasons 😊 Again, I unfortunately cannot have any pets in my home but I'm more than happy to drive out and take my time to ensure that your pet gets all the attention and exercise they need!

“Mariela was wonderful with our 14 year old Senior boxer! Many times when we are gone he won’t eat a lot but but he ate like a king! Mariela was very timely & efficient! We appreciated her services very much!!”

Crest cat parents share their Rover experiences
Baylee was absolutely fantastic with my two cats and dog and she went above and beyond in every way possible. What impressed me most was her proactive communication. She checked in frequently throughout my time away and sent the cutest photos of my pets looking happy, well-fed, and content. I never had to ask for updates; she just knew how much it would mean to me as a pet parent to see that they were thriving. She genuinely spent quality time playing with them and giving them the attention they needed. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet sitting services. Thank you, Baylee, for taking such wonderful care of my babies!
