About: Hey there! I've been in raising and training dogs for a while and had a fun doing it. I’m originally from San Diego and am home for a few months after finishing my masters degree at Columbia University. While I don't have a pup of my own right now, I'm all about providing top-notch care. I absolutely love strolling around local parks, and exploring new places! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I've got some wiggle room to hang out with your furry pal throughout the week and over the weekends. Can’t wait to meet your fur-baby– they'll be in pawsitively great hands! RE: PRICES- I totally get times are tough, so I'm all ears for working out prices. Being in grad school, I’m available all evenings, free each weekend and have several gaps throughout the week! I take walks daily before/after work and on the weekends and would love to have a furry companion! I live near a few parks but there are many other parks walking distance from here. In my clients home, I will be sure to respect their belongings and be sure to keep any safety hazards away from their pets.

About: I've had pets my whole life, and I've always been considered the animal whisperer of my family. I've owned and cared for cats, dogs, birds (parakeets + cockatiels), freshwater fish, toads, ferrets, and event rats! I'm very in tune and informed on common health issues or changes in behavior that may indicate health problems I just recently moved to the El Cajon area and would love to care for your pets :) My availability is currently fully open! Feel free to message me with any concerns or questions! I'm currently job searching since I'm new to California, so my schedule is very open/flexible to any odd times you may need. I'm comfortable with adapting to however you would prefer your pets are looked after and cared for. I'm also happy to help accommodate any current training you may be implementing to help the process. Rest assured your pet will be cared for as if they were my own.

“Nate and Ray are the absolute best! I feel so much peace at work knowing that my pups are being taken care of. I have one dog with pretty bad separation anxiety and having Nate and Ray stop in has been life changing. I used to dread coming home from work and cleaning up the destruction from my dogs, but now I come home to two tired pups with no accidents in the house. Thank you so much!”
“This is our second time with Kaitlyn. She watched our puppy last time and this time she watched our cats while we were out of town. She sent us updates everyday with lots of photos. She is very reliable and took great care of our cats. Thank you Kaitlyn!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I have over 9 years of experience training service dogs of all ages. Through my training experience, I have worked with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, helping them build confidence, learn new skills, and receive the care they need. What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with a wide variety of dogs and my ability to adapt to each pet's unique personality and needs. I have also cared for my own foster dog, which taught me patience, consistency, and the importance of creating a safe and loving environment for every animal. I am comfortable administering medications and following specific care instructions to ensure your pet stays healthy and happy while you're away. Whether your pet needs extra attention, exercise, medication, or simply lots of love and companionship, I am committed to providing the highest quality care. I carefully supervise all interactions between pets and make sure each dog feels comfortable in their environment. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I treat every animal as if they were my own. About: I grew up with many pets and learned how to care for them exceptionally well. I understand giving them boundaries and having fun playing with them are both keys to great care. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs as I am a very active person who loves exploring as much as your dog does! When I started pet sitting about 15 years ago I found I had a gift for helping dogs and cats who have a hard time adjusting when their owners are away. I also specialize in senior care as I’m willing to do anything needed to help your dog or cat be comfortable, eat well, and feel loved. I interact with each one as the unique individual they are. Let me know all about your pet’s personality and special needs so I can be the closest thing to having you at home as possible. I’m currently in school a couple days a week and have flexible work which gives me plenty of time to play with your pups during the week and on weekends. I only care for pets at your home. I have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to be there when needed. I can also do overnight house and pet sitting if needed.

My availablity depends on if you mind my children come with me or not but I’m super flexible! I currently have one adult medium dog, 1 Large mixed breed (1year old) a horse and chickens. I have a large yard for plenty of play but it is NOT fenced so please no run a ways please :) I homeschool and work part time from home. The kids and I are home most days and only leave for a few hours at a time for activities like gymnastics or soccer. Both my dogs are friendly and not food aggressive at all. They free feed out of the same bowl. I have ways of separating or crating if need be. I’m very good with reading behavior and gaining trust.
“Sarah will be staying this weekend for dog sitting and I wanted her and him to get used to each other. He was a bit nervous but she stayed with him and tried her best to make him comfortable. They will be friends eventually!”

“Loren always go above and beyond for our sweet boy, Dash! She is a really great communicator to let us know how Dash is doing. Dash hated going into his kennel when we leave and Loren bought treats to teach positive reinforcement & now Dash goes into his kennel when we are home with no issues! (With treats of course. :p )”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs most of my life whether it be the family pets or friends, neighbors or my own pets. I also am good with reptiles! I am about to start a new job working evenings but I have plenty of availability during the day and weekends. I’m never too busy to play with pets! We have 2 dogs and 2 cats in our home currently. One of our dogs in both blind and deaf so bringing in a new animal is a little tricky but I am more than happy to also take care of your baby in your home!

About: I grew up around both dogs and cats and have always genuinely loved animals. I’m an active person who enjoys long walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. What sets me apart is the amount of attention and affection I naturally give animals — I’m actually a pet portrait artist because of how much I love pets and connecting with their personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to adapt to each dog’s individual energy level and needs. I work part time as a pet portrait artist, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to include pet care throughout the weekdays. Because I create artwork from home, I’m able to provide dependable walks, check-ins, and attentive care during the day rather than only evenings or weekends. Spending time with animals is genuinely one of my favorite parts of my routine, so I enjoy making pet care a consistent and meaningful part of my week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine consistent so they feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed while you’re away. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals, and affection based on their individual needs and energy level. I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s routine, and I pay close attention to behavior, comfort, and any special instructions you provide. I also enjoy sending updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: Hello! I’m a sitter in Lakeside offering loving, attentive care! I’m passionate about daily walks, potty breaks, and providing love and care. If your dog needs medications, I’m experienced and comfortable administering them safely! Happy to do a meet & greet to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone! Best, Angelina Darling I’m a student learning from home so I have an extremely flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets consistent care, walks, and attention throughout the day! Whether I’m caring for pets at my home or yours, I will always provide walks, playtime, meals (and medication as needed) making sure your furry friends feel safe and loved!
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I learned how to wash dishes! I’ve walked dogs and puppies from 10lbs to larger dogs of 120lbs + When I spend time with animals, even in short amounts of times, special bonds are formed. Both parties just have a blast to be honest. I’ve wanted to be a Veterinarian my whole life but as things have changed this is the closest thing to it. I hope you’ll choose me as your trusted sitter! I’m currently in the military Active Duty Shore. I do drop in visits around lunch time, and I’m up early in the morning for early morning walks and feedings before work starts on weekdays. After 4pm we play, go for walks, eat and play again. On weekends I’m available whenever. Sundays mornings are exceptions, being that I attend church. I only take care of crate trained animals in my home. Animals who are potty trained, and nothing bigger than 25lbs. I do live in a gated community with plenty of room to walk and run around outdoors. I also have a spacious living room and dining room area with no furniture. Spacious for small animals, their crates, and their zoomies! I do not have any pets or children. When it comes to clients homes, I clean when needed. And I stick to whatever schedule I’ve been given.

About: I’ve had about 13 dogs of different breeds in my lifetime. Every dog that I’ve had in my life still carry on in my heart. I was responsible for all of my dogs and made sure to attend to their needs in a safe manner. I’m able to work any day of the week as long as it’s 8-3pm. I’m just not available around 4-6, but I am able to care for them in my home if necessary. We have a screen door and our parking lot is gated, so there is no way for them to get through. There is also a park nearby that is great for walking.
About: I've grown up with cats since I was 8 and began petsitting for people in my 1st couple years of college around 2015. I've done both dogsitting and catsitting for people and I love both animals equally! I have petsat for people with animals of all ages, with the youngest dog I have watched being about 8-10 months and the oldest being about 14 or 15. I love exploring new places and being outdoors especially since I live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. with the best weather! I find it equally enjoyable to see a dog smile and to see him/her bring joy to their owner and to people around them. I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. Feel free to reach out via text to clarify this, especially if your pet has specific needs or needs to be taken out more frequently to use the restroom.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Crest
Baylee was absolutely fantastic with my two cats and dog and she went above and beyond in every way possible. What impressed me most was her proactive communication. She checked in frequently throughout my time away and sent the cutest photos of my pets looking happy, well-fed, and content. I never had to ask for updates; she just knew how much it would mean to me as a pet parent to see that they were thriving. She genuinely spent quality time playing with them and giving them the attention they needed. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet sitting services. Thank you, Baylee, for taking such wonderful care of my babies!

As of June 2026, there are 129 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Crest. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
