About: I’ve been taking care of animals ever since I can remember. From feeding my extended family’s pet to walking dogs and staying over night as an adult. Pet care is always a part of my daily routine. I have 2 indoor cats and 2 stray cats that come everyday to eat and lay around. I can easily make time to tend to other pets I tend to other pets with love attention, make them at ease as it can be a stressful time for pets when human parents are away from home.

About: I have three cats of my own (all successfully introduced as adults), and have spent my whole life taking care of the cats in my family. Over the past few years, I have been regularly caring for my friends pets when they go out of town for extended periods of time. I have cared for cats of all ages and personalities, from kittens to seniors and from outgoing to shy. I am also an artist, and will happily draw a portrait of your cat as an added gift with my care! I work part time at my day job 2-3 days a week from 9-5. I have a very open schedule, able to care for your pet any day whether that be morning, evening, or night. I have reliable transportation and don’t mind traveling throughout the county. When first cats, I allow them to approach me on their own to get to know me on their own terms. If allowed, I will given them a treat to let them know I am a friend. I will start off my visit by checking their food, giving them fresh water, and cleaning their litter box. Once I have spent this time around them, I will see if they are in the mood to either play or be pet. I will pay attention to their body language before initiating physical affection. If they seem like they are just in the mood to spend time in the same space without much interaction, I will either read a book or draw in my sketchbook so I can keep them company.

About: I grew up around both dogs and cats and have always genuinely loved animals. I’m an active person who enjoys long walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. What sets me apart is the amount of attention and affection I naturally give animals — I’m actually a pet portrait artist because of how much I love pets and connecting with their personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to adapt to each dog’s individual energy level and needs. I work part time as a pet portrait artist, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to include pet care throughout the weekdays. Because I create artwork from home, I’m able to provide dependable walks, check-ins, and attentive care during the day rather than only evenings or weekends. Spending time with animals is genuinely one of my favorite parts of my routine, so I enjoy making pet care a consistent and meaningful part of my week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine consistent so they feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed while you’re away. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals, and affection based on their individual needs and energy level. I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s routine, and I pay close attention to behavior, comfort, and any special instructions you provide. I also enjoy sending updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I've had pets my whole life, and I've always been considered the animal whisperer of my family. I've owned and cared for cats, dogs, birds (parakeets + cockatiels), freshwater fish, toads, ferrets, and event rats! I'm very in tune and informed on common health issues or changes in behavior that may indicate health problems I just recently moved to the El Cajon area and would love to care for your pets :) My availability is currently fully open! About: Hello! I am 27 years old and I have a range of experience with many different breeds, personalities and sizes! In my past, I’ve had a Golden Retriever, a Lab, three Pitbulls, a Pit/Husky mix, an English bulldog and a Miniature Schnauzer. I have very personal experience with a reactive and anxious pup and am more than willing to take my time to build that trust. I've also obtained a Certification in Veterinary Assistance and with my range of experience combined, I'm easily able to navigate through emergency situations and regular daily medical routines. Though I no longer practice Vet Med, I continue to stay updated with new techniques and treatments in order to stay proficient. I am currently in Pilot Training here in California to become a Commercial Pilot. Due to my training, I am unavailable my schedule changes weekly but able to give a notice a week in advance. I'm otherwise super flexible and am willing to come out same day! I unfortunately can't keep any pets in my home but willing to drive to you! My personal experience with the different breeds of dogs I’ve had in my lifetime has made me more than qualified for this position. I’m just looking for a part time job that I can enjoy, nothing better than being around a furry friend! ***For July dates and on, I am at the end of my training here in San Diego and will be relocating after. Because of that, I will not be able to give a set answer on my availability until mid June*** I'm currently unemployed during training so I'm basically free almost everyday. I get my schedule a week in advance so I'm able to give that much of a notice or if far enough in advance, I'm able to put in a request in my training schedule to accommodate to your pet's needs. But I have many hours after to spare throughout the week for a long walk or a drop in! If in dire need, I can walk/drop in around 6am. Please try to give a 2 hour notice just in case for traffic reasons 😊 Again, I unfortunately cannot have any pets in my home but I'm more than happy to drive out and take my time to ensure that your pet gets all the attention and exercise they need!

About: I have about 10 years of house sitting experience. I am comfortable with all types of animal. From dogs and cats to turtles and chickens! I currently work in education on Monday-Friday 7:30-4pm. I am excited to do walks after work and snuggles in the evening. And lots of love and playing of the weekends. About: Hey there! I've been in raising and training dogs for a while and had a fun doing it. I’m originally from San Diego and am home for a few months after finishing my masters degree at Columbia University. While I don't have a pup of my own right now, I'm all about providing top-notch care. I absolutely love strolling around local parks, and exploring new places! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I've got some wiggle room to hang out with your furry pal throughout the week and over the weekends. Can’t wait to meet your fur-baby– they'll be in pawsitively great hands! RE: PRICES- I totally get times are tough, so I'm all ears for working out prices. Being in grad school, I’m available all evenings, free each weekend and have several gaps throughout the week! I take walks daily before/after work and on the weekends and would love to have a furry companion! I live near a few parks but there are many other parks walking distance from here. In my clients home, I will be sure to respect their belongings and be sure to keep any safety hazards away from their pets.

About: I am a very empathetic person, and I love my dog dearly. I’ve had over 15 Danes and 3 Weiner dogs and every breed needing a home in between. My dogs is what connected me to my dad, my dog helped heal him, guide him to the next stage of life and helped me grieve. I see the power in pets, and see how hard life is navigating real world responsibilities with giving our pets care when we work, travel or whatever. I bring my love from a deep rooted place of humanity, helping other humans find security peace and ease while being able to enjoy life and also let their pets have fun. I work from home, I want something where I can get my mind outside itself and walk dogs, have fun with them, give back and check in and love on other humans in my own way. Through caring for the most precious thing we have, our pets. In my own home I have a 6 year old dachshund, I would be only doing over nights if I had a trusting relationship with said client. Going to a clients home, only if my partner can watch my dog and I as well have formed a trust with client. If a dog gets along with my dachshund and the parents approve after a few interactions I can absolutely share my home.
