“I don’t know why Kathy doesn’t have any reviews because she’s the best! This is saying a lot for someone who doesn’t usually leave reviews. I booked her for a week while my family and I went on a vacation out of state. She is very honest, transparent, communicative, attentive, patient, and thorough with her care of our 3 cats. Not only did she make sure my cats are well-nourished and attended for, she also respected my house rules (for our privacy) which I greatly appreciate. Will definitely book her again. Thank you very much, Kathy!”

“Kaitlyn has great communication and is very reliable and enthusiastic about pet sitting. Our picky dog Lotus likes her as soon as they met, and that is a good sign! We would recommend Kaitlyn to someone who needs a friendly and responsible pet sitter.”

“Loren was so great and helpful while we were traveling! She was responsive the entire time we were gone and she gave our kitty the meds she needs every day. She gave them treats and looked after them with lots of care, we will absolutely contact her again should the need arise :)”

“Jordan has done a fantastic job with both of our two dogs. You can tell that she loves dogs. She’s responsible, on-time, and dependable. We’re so glad that we found her. I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you!”

“Trinity took in our request for drop in visits for our 2 dogs while we were away for the Memorial weekend. She did exceptionally well and did things the same way we do with our dogs with their daily routine. Trinity gave us the peace of mind while we were on our trip and kept us updated on how our dogs were doing. She even went the extra step to grab something for us at the store to treat our dog. Highly Recommend using her services and would definitely be using Trinity’s services again. Thank You Trinity.”

About: Being raised in the rural parts of El Cajon, with my mom being apart of the AKC- American Kennel Club, I spent a lot of time around animals. Learning at a young age how to properly interact with dogs. I have walked up to three small dogs at the same time that belonged to my land-lord of 5 years. Even though these three dogs were considered aggressive toward other people, they loved and trusted me and I loved them back. I enjoy being around small animals and spending quality time with them. I am retired from the County of San Diego where I worked for 16 years. I am very flexible, reliable and punctual. I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies.

Victoria was amazing with our cat! She was prompt and came at the same time everyday to feed and play with our girl. I got tons of videos/photos, along with very detailed notes about how she was and how the visits went. I will definitely rebook with her in the future and encourage you to reach out to her for your fur babies! Thank you so so much again for everything!

Shelby and Dalton were amazing! They did an initial meet and great with our cat prior to the scheduled drop in visits. They were thorough during the visits and were very good sports when our cat was being feisty. They even brought out/in our trash bins when asked. Would definitely recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
