Kind, dependable canine & cat care
From high-energy hounds to fickle felines, I've cared for & loved a wide variety of animals in my own home and as a certified volunteer dog team member at San Diego Humane Society. My 30+ years of experience with pets includes plenty of playtime, positive reinforcement training and Fear Free Shelter certification, thousands of dog walks, medicine delivery, and one-on-one attention. Dogs are my specialty, but I also loved and cared for a cat for 23 years and currently share my home with a 5-year-old rescued feline. As a semi-retired high school teacher, my hours are flexible. I have a strong work ethic and a long track record of commitment to animals and humanity.

Safety, trust & environment
All pet care provided at owner's location. Communication with the pet owner is critical so I can learn what works best for each animal. Each dog/cat is different and I will adapt my care to the animal's needs and what makes him/her feel most comfortable in your absence. I am available to provide care to animals in the greater San Diego area, including La Mesa, El Cajon, Santee, Spring Valley, Lakeside & Alpine.

Schedule
I'm available for dog walking and pet sitting, potty breaks, and other animal care needs in the convenience of your own home. Overnight stays are also available with reasonable advance notice. My work hours are very flexible since I am now semi-retired from full-time teaching and only substitute when I choose to fill my schedule.
