“Rachel did a good job caring for our cats and kept us updated while we were away. She was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, and everything was in good order when we returned. Overall, a positive experience and we would happily rely on her help again.”

“Kristina is so amazing with my Frenchie Gus! She’s super communicative about how the walk went, and always super quick to respond. She always takes into consideration how hot it is with how far to walk. I love having her to help take care of Gus on days I work and he’s always happy as can be when I come home!”

“Julia was prompt, quick to respond, and Bao loved hanging out with her for the afternoon! She was communicative and is great with dogs. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I've grown up with dogs all my life, so I am extremely comfortable with dogs and understand how to take care of them. In addition, I've been around dogs ranging from Miniature Schnauzers to Great Danes. I love playing with dogs, so I will always be good company for your pets. In addition, I have experience dog sitting, both day and night. I am punctual and pay close attention to details, so you will never have to worry about me being late or forgetting to feed whatever your pet needs, be it food and or medicine. I've worked with owners who's have strict guide lines for their pet, and I have always been able to deliver on those and make sure their pets are taken care to the best extent. I am also very comfortable with cats and do not have any allergies of any kind. I work from home & my schedule is pretty flexible, so I am able to make it work very well. I enjoy frequent walks, so including the dog(s) on those walks is something I’d do as long as the owner wants that. When taking care of clients pets, I do exactly what the clients ask. I pay attention & will keep eye out for pet to make sure they aren’t getting into things they should not.

“Julie is kind, patient, and extremely reliable. She took the time to get to know my four cats & their routines so that she could take exceptional care of them while we were away. She even returned to my home after-hours to help one of my kitties get unstuck from behind the washer! I highly recommend Julie to all pet parents.”

“Jaylynne is awesome! She did a great job looking after my cat while I was gone - sent daily pictures and detailed messages on her drop-in visits. It’s evident she really cares about the pets she looks after.”

“Janet did an amazing job taking care of my cat Theo! She is everything you would want in a cat sitter: responsible, communicative, and experienced. Even though my cat can be a little unpredictable, Janet handled everything like a pro and I never once worried about my cat when I was gone. Thanks Janet!”

“Luana was absolutely amazing! I got photos and updates throughout her visits. My kitties really liked her and were clearly well taken care of. I will definitely be rebooking!”

“Yue is THE BEST cat sitter I have ever worked with. Hands down. If she’s available, do not hesitate! 10/10! She took such great care of Momo while I was travelling internationally. I was worried at first as it’s my first time using a cat sitter, but I’m truly at a loss for words because everything went so well and beyond my expectations!! What I appreciate most about Yue is her responsiveness and communication. We had a few last minute bookings that she was able to accommodate on super short notice. And she responds so quickly and was helpful so that I felt confident coordinating the bookings through the App. She also has such a genuine disposition for cats too. When she met Momo the first time I instantly felt at ease that she would be watching him. 10/10 experience. Not a single thing that I would change or wish went differently with my experience! If you’re thinking of booking her or you’re like me and have never used Rover before, you’re in good hands. Thank you Yue!”

About: With a lifelong passion for animals, I've been immersed in pet care since childhood. Growing up alongside three beloved labs and rescuing a stray cat seven years ago, I've honed my skills through countless neighborly pet sitting gigs and college life with roommates' furry friends. I specialize in providing tailored care to each individual unique pet and offer specialized attention to senior pets. I just graduated with my masters degree May 2024, and am in search of a job so I currently have a very flexible schedule and routine. I have a small outdoor area attached to my townhome which is gated in, but I live near Tempe Town Lake making it a nice area to walk. My home has a large living room/kitchen area with lots of space to play with pets!

“Jenna was super helpful and a great communicator. We needed last minute drop in care for 3 dogs while we were out of the house for many hours and Jenna was quick to respond and very reliable. We had our pup and our friends pups staying together and she followed our instructions by taking each dog out for potty breaks and making sure they were fed. She arrived on time and we came home to three very happy pups. Would definitely book with her again!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - La Jolla
I had such a great experience! Frankie is a very nervous and independent cat, so I was worried about leaving her with someone new. She was incredibly patient, respected Frankie's space, and never tried to force interactions, which I really appreciated. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Frankie was being cared for by someone who understood her personality. Communication was great, and I came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat. I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable pet sitter!

I had never used a sitting service before. A friend told me about rover.com. I thought I’d take a chance and boy did I get lucky. Jenna showed up at my door to meet my cat and myself. She was bright, professional and pleasant and….. from the Midwest! she did an amazing job. Remembered every little detail I had told her. She sent happy photos of my happy cat twice a day. I looked forward to those photos and her little review. It was this that enabled me to enjoy my visit with my elderly parents. Thank you Jenna!

Victoria is amazing! She was super thorough during our meet and greet, and great with my two cas during the stay. She sent me lots of pictures every day, played with them, and gave them lots of love. I felt really at ease leaving the country for a week knowing that Victoria was there. I will definitely be asking her to watch the cats again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
