About: Hi! My name is Lauren, and I grew up with cats and have been surrounded by them for most of my life. Since I was a teenager, I've cared for both my own cats and those of friends and neighbors. About: I grew up with dogs and cats and have plenty of experience caring for them. I have fostered cats and dog/cat sat all throughout middle and high school. I also trained my dog when he was a puppy. Comfortable with whatever fun quirks your dog may have:) I work part time in La Jolla, so I have plenty of time. My shifts are typically around 4 hours, with the maximum being 6. If longer than 5 hours, I can pop over on my lunch break and check on your pets! I am more than willing to spend the night with your pets, and can manage any crating needed. That being said, if they are most comfortable in the bed, I don't mind cuddling!

About: I've taken care of family dogs and I've volunteered at the rescue shelter "A way home for dogs" in San Diego. The volunteering mostly involves watching and restraining dogs as we got them acclimated to crowds of people. Currently free for the summer, so I'll have plenty of time to care for pets. “Where do I even begin? Nia watched Gordo for 12 days and not once did I question his safe being. Gordo is a young but big puppy and is not easy to deal with always and sometimes doesn’t know the line between soft and aggressive playing. I was worried because It’s important for me to leave Gordo when I travel in a trust situation. Nia, not only took very thurogh instruction on Gordos care, Gordo has come back a different dog. Not making it up. His behavior is so much more relaxed and has been incredible. Idk what Nia, but so grateful for it. I got the cutes pics and video stitching edits everyday. Not to mention the goodie bag she sent home with Gordo 😭 her dogs are the absolute cutest also. So grateful. I. About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by pets. My household has always had two dogs, and my family currently owns two AKC registered Golden Retrievers who compete professionally in scent work competitions. I’ve played a significant role in their training and development, giving me extensive hands on experience caring for and working with dogs. I’ve also lived with many cats and other dogs through roommates over the years, often becoming their trusted secondary caretaker and taking on full responsibility while my roommates were away. I have a deep love for animals, and my goal with Rover is to welcome pets back into my life and provide them with the same care and attention I would give my own, until I’m ready to become an owner again! I believe my life situation makes me uniquely well suited to be a great sitter! I work a fully remote engineering position on an east coast schedule, so my hours are 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday. This means that I am used to being awake early and would be able to be attentive to your pet early in the morning, doing things such as morning outings and daily routine care. I also then wrap up my workday early in the afternoon, leaving much of the rest of the day to give your pet undivided attention! Since I work remotely I will be able to spend every second of the day alongside your pet, whether it be at my own home or yours. I live right on the beach with access to many miles of coastal trails and multiple dog parks, and I would love to show your pet around the area. I also have a spare bedroom so if they need their own space to chill then they have that option as well.
“I have had my dog Percy for about a year in a half, he has had to wear diapers however ( male wraps) which has made it hard for me to find a sitter , So i went on Rover and found Anar, after our meet and greet she agreed to have Percy stay with her for two nights with no Problem at all. She attended percys special request with diapers as well as kept me comforted with pictures throughout the stay, he was walked, attended too and got a long with her Dogs. Anar was great and i will be requesting her again for Percy.”
“Zi was easy to communicate with. We did a meet and greet which went well. She watched my dog for 4 nights and he came back happy and taken care. He even ate with her which he usually doesn’t when I drop him with babysitters. Thanks Zi!”
