She took care of our pup for two weeks and gave her the most fun, enriching, and loving days by taking her on hikes, trips to the farmers market, movie nights at the beach, and lots of walks throughout the day. About: I had dogs throughout my life and taken care of many breeds.I’m a retired paramedic for San Diego my background in medicine 27 years which can be applied to animals. Very aware of sickness, diseases or injuries. I will also come to your home where the animals will feel more secure and in their comfort zone. I work with Sharp hospital and teach advanced life support to doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, nurse practitioners through out the week so I will need to know ahead to schedule. I have a very strong bond with all animals and a lot of patience.. My apartment will work for individual animals they have a fenced yard for the home owners so this is where coming to your home more suitable for pets wellbeing. I do feel it’s a better environment to come to the home of the pet. They feel more comfortable and secure…the familiar surroundings are make it more acceptable.

About: I have always been the biggest animal lover. I am vegan for ethical reasons! I used to volunteer for the Paws Adoption Center in Chicago. There, I was involved with the community outreach team, and I’d help put together adoption packets and pamphlets. I mostly spent my time doing physical labor— that is, walking the dogs, cleaning up after them, etc. In San Diego, I live with my roommate’s friendly little Maltese dog in a pet-friendly apartment. Growing up, my family has had a total of four dogs. Three of them we adopted about 15 years ago, and I witnessed them through their teething process and helped potty trained them. A couple of years ago, we welcomed a new, adult dog into our home in Chicago. During winter break of 2017, I successfully taught her several new tricks. In addition, family members and friends have asked me to pet-sit during special events or lengthy vacations. I am very willing to work with new dogs with different personalities who may require special care. My schedule is completely open, and my apartment is a comfortable, clean, and spacious place for dogs to stay in. I am especially willing to travel to your home if that happens to be your preferred option. I am looking forward to accommodating dogs to their own special needs. I am working part-time and can check on your dog at least every six hours! Many days, I only work four hour shifts, so I can probably check on them even more often! I am very neat and clean! “Alegra was absolutely amazing with Penny during her 6-night stay! Penny is a messy eater/drinker and also needs medicine twice a day, and Alegra handled everything with so much care and patience. She sent multiple photos and updates every day, which made me feel like Penny was truly loved and in great hands the entire time. About: I’ve been caring for pets for many years and absolutely love spending time with both dogs and cats! I’ve walked dogs regularly for years and have experience caring for pets for overnight stays, including feeding, walks, playtime, and maintaining their normal routines. Have cared for dogs with illnesses and senior dogs. I’m also a longtime pet owner having a dog for 11 years and a cat for 2 years, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. I’m attentive, dependable, and treat every pet as if they were my own! i’m only working part time, and therefore have plenty of time to play with your pets! I am free all day Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Tuesdays, and Thursday afternoons and most weekends. Will care for pets in clients home preferably. Willing to stay overnight or otherwise visit late evening and early morning! Occasionally can do board and care in my home. I have a fenced in yard with room for lots of play and very friendly cat, dog must be cat friendly.
