Over the years, I've cared for pets by dog and cat sitting for friends and neighbors, giving me experience with walking, playing, and caring for high-energy dogs. Since moving to San Diego, I've really been missing my family pets, and I'd love the opportunity to spend time caring for yours. I love spending time outdoors, going on long walks, and staying active, so I'm always happy to give pets the exercise and attention they need. Although I'm new to Rover, I'm dependable and committed to treating every pet as if they were my own. I look forward to providing your furry family member with reliable care! I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate a variety of care needs. I'm happy to work with your schedule! While I'm currently unable to host pets in my home, I'm more than happy to care for your pet in the comfort of your home!

About: Hi! My name is Emme, and I’m currently an Occupational Therapy student living in La Jolla. I’ve been caring for animals for many years and absolutely love spending time with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and provide overnight care for their pets while they’re away. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re gone. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, administering basic medications, and caring for multiple pets at once. I will treat your pets as if they were my own and provide plenty of updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away! As a graduate student in Occupational Therapy, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care for your pets. I am generally available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting. I only have in-person classes on Mondays, so I can spend plenty of quality time with your pets and maintain their normal routines. I know leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful, so I do everything I can to make both you and your pets feel comfortable. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, and routines to keep things as normal as possible for your pet. I treat every home with respect and every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’m the go-to pet sitter for all my friends and have had pets my whole life! My pets have always meant the world to me, so you can rest assured I’ll treat yours with the TLC they deserve. I’m currently working from home which gives me the freedom to take care of pets whenever I’d like. Bring on all of the fur-babies! :) Unfortunately, my current place does not allow animals, which is why the only services I’m providing would be me going to your dog. I’m available for play-time, potty breaks, walks/runs etc. Ideally, I’d like to know if your dog has quirks or preferences that would make both of us more comfortable. Behavioral notes are key as well.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 13 years of hands on experience caring for dogs and cats. I’ve always had pets in the house since I was a little girl and currently have a 3 year old pup of my own. We trained her from puppyhood, and I have learned even more about patience, communication, and unconditional love since adopting her. Over the years, I’ve provided everything from daily dog walks to full-week overnight care. Whether it’s a quick check-in, a long walk, or extended pet sitting, I always treat each pet like they’re my own. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away because I know how important this is for all our pets. I’m currently working a full time job but have unique hours where the alternate days and have a half day Friday. I also get every weekend off. I can use my later work days, short Fridays, or weekends to help walk or check on your pets. When I help take care of pets in the home, I always make sure I know the specific details I need to make the pets feel comfortable with me and taken care of. I have helped care for very friendly and also very scared pets and have always found they warm up to me quickly. I remain calm and loving to all the furry friends I help watch.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and have plenty of experience caring for them. I have fostered cats and dog/cat sat all throughout middle and high school. I also trained my dog when he was a puppy. Comfortable with whatever fun quirks your dog may have:) I work part time in La Jolla, so I have plenty of time. My shifts are typically around 4 hours, with the maximum being 6. If longer than 5 hours, I can pop over on my lunch break and check on your pets! I am more than willing to spend the night with your pets, and can manage any crating needed. That being said, if they are most comfortable in the bed, I don't mind cuddling!

About: I have been around dogs since I was 3 years old. I have 2 rescue dogs and have experience fostering multiple puppies at a time. I also have experience caring for other animals such as horses and genuine pigs. I walk and feed my dogs daily. They are high energy and require two walks everyday. For this reason, I have also learned how to train dogs. I have a very large yard and two other friendly dogs to keep yours company. Walks are a big part of my daily dog care routine so your dog would be sure to receive a lot of exercise. Additionally, I am very flexible with care and happy to crate your dog if needed. There are many dog parks in the area that are easily accessible as well.

About: I have always been the biggest animal lover. I am vegan for ethical reasons! I used to volunteer for the Paws Adoption Center in Chicago. There, I was involved with the community outreach team, and I’d help put together adoption packets and pamphlets. I mostly spent my time doing physical labor— that is, walking the dogs, cleaning up after them, etc. In San Diego, I live with my roommate’s friendly little Maltese dog in a pet-friendly apartment. Growing up, my family has had a total of four dogs. Three of them we adopted about 15 years ago, and I witnessed them through their teething process and helped potty trained them. A couple of years ago, we welcomed a new, adult dog into our home in Chicago. During winter break of 2017, I successfully taught her several new tricks. In addition, family members and friends have asked me to pet-sit during special events or lengthy vacations. I am very willing to work with new dogs with different personalities who may require special care. My schedule is completely open, and my apartment is a comfortable, clean, and spacious place for dogs to stay in. I am especially willing to travel to your home if that happens to be your preferred option. I am looking forward to accommodating dogs to their own special needs. I am working part-time and can check on your dog at least every six hours! Many days, I only work four hour shifts, so I can probably check on them even more often! I am very neat and clean! About: My wife (her account rover.com/sit/dianad09326) and I love dogs! We both work remotely so it will be such a pleasure to sit with your fur friend coz we would have great company during the day. We recently bought a 1500 ft duplex with a nice fenced yard in a safe gated community. It's a great space for doggies to hang out, play, and enjoy beautiful San Diego weather outdoors. There is a nice park starting right outside of our backyard. I have more than 3 years of experience as a pet sitter and I love it! We couldn't have our own dogs right now coz we need to go on business trips from time to time. So hosting doggies is a great solution for us to share our love for pets and be able to enjoy their company. My working schedule is flexible so I always will have time for your dog's potty breaks, long walks, and play. Available on weekdays and weekends. I have fenced yard, and no my own pets at the moment. My wife and I are also willing for house sitting and walks with your fur babies. :) We both work from home so we will be happy to to stay with your fur friend. Actually, we wanted to adopt our own doggie but we travel a lot so being a Rover sitter helps us to enjoy fur babies company! We have no our own pets so your doggie will receive all our attention! I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for my friends and family whenever they head out of town because they know how much I enjoy spending time with pups. I grew up with dogs, and I currently have two of my own who are staying with my parents in Florida. Over the years, I’ve raised and trained several puppies, so I’m very comfortable with everything from potty training to leash manners. I am currently self employed and work limited hours of my choosing, allowing me the flexibility and time to help your pet most days of the week. I've also volunteered at multiple humane societies, so I bring both lifelong passion and real-world care experience to every pup I look after. Pet care fits naturally into my active daily routine. I love getting outside and am always happy to take dogs on walks, drop in for visits, or help socialize them. Keeping pets happy, exercised, and engaged is something I genuinely enjoy. I primarily offer dog walking and drop-in visits, but I'm also happy to host dogs at my home when needed. I live walking distance from the beach, making it the perfect environment for an active, happy pup. Every dog in my care gets a safe, loving, and fun experience.
