About: I have had dogs of all sizes and ages growing up so I'm very comfortable with any dog. I have also been asked to walk many of my friends' dogs as well, allowing me to have experience with dogs who are not my own. I work a typical 9-5 where I’m in office, however afternoons are free and Fridays I am remote, making my schedule much more flexible! Weekends I am also free! If I were to take your pets outside on walks, they will always be securely leashed, and if I do decide to go to a park/environment for dogs I will confirm that it is okay with the you as well as making sure it is a safe place for your pet and me in general. I would never do anything without the owners approval because I understand the heartache of losing a pet to unexpected incidences.

About: I’m the go-to pet sitter for all my friends and have had pets my whole life! My pets have always meant the world to me, so you can rest assured I’ll treat yours with the TLC they deserve. I’m currently working from home which gives me the freedom to take care of pets whenever I’d like. Bring on all of the fur-babies! :) Unfortunately, my current place does not allow animals, which is why the only services I’m providing would be me going to your dog. I’m available for play-time, potty breaks, walks/runs etc. Ideally, I’d like to know if your dog has quirks or preferences that would make both of us more comfortable. Behavioral notes are key as well.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals. My family bred Siamese cats, and we always had dogs of all sizes in our home. In June 2025, I began house and pet sitting and quickly fell in love with it. Being able to spend time with animals again has been incredibly rewarding. Since then, I've cared for dogs both large and small, watched multiple pets at once, and administered medications when needed. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I strive to provide attentive, loving care so both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease. I live a fairly routine lifestyle and enjoy spending lots of quality time with the pets in my care. I typically start my day early, which allows plenty of time for morning potty breaks, feeding, and attention before I head out to train clients for a few hours. I'm usually back home around midday and enjoy spending time with the animals I'm caring for. Depending on their energy level and owner's preferences, this may include walks, playtime, a run, or even a hike. I also work virtually at times, which allows me to be home throughout much of the day. In the evening, I'll follow your pet's normal feeding schedule and spend the rest of the night relaxing at home. Whether your pet enjoys cuddling on the couch, playing, or simply having someone nearby, they'll have plenty of companionship and attention. I'm typically home in the evenings and maintain a consistent routine, helping pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pets and your home. I take that responsibility seriously and strive to provide a safe, reliable, and respectful experience for every family I work with. I carefully follow each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions provided by their owner. I prioritize safety on walks and outings and always make sure pets are secure and comfortable. When staying in a client's home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. I keep the home clean and tidy, lock doors and windows when leaving, and provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel relaxed, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the entire stay.

About: I have been around dogs since I was 3 years old. I have 2 rescue dogs and have experience fostering multiple puppies at a time. I also have experience caring for other animals such as horses and genuine pigs. I walk and feed my dogs daily. They are high energy and require two walks everyday. For this reason, I have also learned how to train dogs. I have a very large yard and two other friendly dogs to keep yours company. Walks are a big part of my daily dog care routine so your dog would be sure to receive a lot of exercise. Additionally, I am very flexible with care and happy to crate your dog if needed. There are many dog parks in the area that are easily accessible as well.

About: My grandpa had many dogs and grandma takes care of cats. So, I grew up loving pets. I love nature and the outdoors as well. I studied environmental sustainability. I’m a Christian. I was once a lifeguard, and people can trust me with their lives and pets:) I love plants and have a green thumb. My work is very flexible. Only occasionally do I need to go into office. And I wouldn’t know ahead of the time when I have appointments. Most of them are fairly brief: 2 to 3 hours. However, I do need to make arrangements ahead of time in terms of scheduling. So please reach out as early as possible. Occasionally, I have travel plans as well. I can come to your home and take care of your pets or walk the dogs in the neighborhood. If you prefer, I can sometimes take them to dog parks.

About: Hi, I'm Marcy! Dogs have been a part of my life since birth. Growing up with dogs and later in life owning a few dogs, I’ve always had a passion for pet care. I’ve been lucky enough to own three German Shepherds well into their teen years and currently own a senior black lab. New to Rover, but not new to care for pets. I’m a stay at home dog mom, empty nester who loves walking my black lab around La Jolla Shores three to four times a day. He’s slowing down now that he’s a senior and I’m looking to keep up my steps. Let me take care of you dog and incorporate them into my daily routine or start a new one with your fur baby. I’m located in the heart of La Jolla Shores with great beach access when allowed on beach. This neighborhood is perfect for walking. If allowed, a walk to Starbs for a pup cup is an option and I know all the great treat stops, if allowed by owner. My black lab is great with other dogs and very friendly.

About: Absolutely dog obsessed!!! - here for the summer before heading to grad school in September! I have a very lazy older dog Earl (we used to live in Manhattan and have been on good morning America and Seth meyers together!). Earl won’t walk as much as I want to get out this summer, so I thought I would love walk other dogs and walk to check in on other dogs! I will never walk more than one dog at a time (unless you have two dogs and want me to walk them together!) Very flexible with scheduling, living in windansea and have a car so willing to drive to you if needed, happy to accommodate what routes your dog likes or if it’s just a home check in send pictures to you 🐶🐾 Let me know if you have any questions! After working in finance for tech (Spotify and Square) / sports (NFL) for 6 years I decided I want to go to grad school to pivot my career. I ended my last tech job early June and am taking an online math class (~3 hours a week) until grad school starts! Will have lots of available time and thought what better than to get out in the sun and go on dog walks/walk to check in on others’ dogs! Happy to set up expected routines (I have a few weddings / some weekends I’m out of town) or work on an ad hoc needed basis :) Best way to tell you about safety and trust is that my dog is a 6 year old bulldog with no health issues - I take very good care of him and always keep a close watch (he has his quirks with temperament!!) I almost went to UC Davis for undergrad in vet sciences but decided I love animals too much I can’t imagine the harder conversations some vets have to have. I’ve grown up in Northern California with big and small dogs (basset hounds, weiner dog, terrier chihuahua mix, 2 goldens, 1 English retriever… and some chinchillas (our home was amazing!!!)) so I know each dog is different with temperament and quirks- totally here to take notes and make sure I abide by exactly what you want! Also, I worked as an internal auditor for 4 years at Spotify and an AI company - so I am naturally a very risk adverse person who wants to make sure I understand guidelines and expectations..Especially when it comes to your house / dog! feel free to run a background check or ask for references 👍 happy to also set up a quick meeting and I can swing by or meet you at a local coffee shop to “vet” me out (no pun intended!).
