Since I work from home most days, I sometimes take them for an afternoon walk if they are feeling very energetic. We have a little play ground we let them go to bring out their zoomies before coming back in. Around 4-5pm, we always go to the park close to our neighborhood to let our furry friends play with each other and socialize! In the days it rainy, we usually take a longer walk around the neighborhood. About: Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile, here’s a little about me. My family has had at least 1 dog and 1 cat in the house since I was 8 years old. My family currently has 2 dogs (yellow lab and black wire-haired dachshund), and 1 cat (Siberian). I used to be an equestrian, have watched many different animals (including guinea pigs), I’ve volunteered at dogs shelters, and recently cared for a 2 month old puppy. As you can expect, I am very comfortable with animals and attuned to their unpredictability and unique needs (potty training and feeding schedules, gentle socializing, chew-proofing the house, reading their moods and managing the energy of multiple animals at once. I’m a very sensitive person, so being around cats and dogs especially brings me joy and peace! They definitely sense that because whenever I visit my parents all my pets follow me around like tails! If I didn’t travel often, I would get a pet of my own. On a more personal note, I love being outdoors and finding any green space possible (especially in NYC), so your dogs will enjoy walks with me! I’m very attentive to garbage eating/smelling/stepping on walks, especially in NYC, so your dog will be safe with me! I’m currently working part-time with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to watch your pet! I am based on Long Island but can easily come into the city for longer care. I’m in the New York area until July 15 and in NYC between 2-8 July, if you need someone to watch your dog over the 4th July weekend while you’re away! Chunli was an amazing cat sitter! She followed all of our instructions carefully and always left detailed updates after each drop-in visit. She took wonderful daily photos of Oreo, and it was clear from both the pictures and her updates that he really took a liking to her. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about his well-being. We also really appreciated that she noticed and shared changes in his bathroom habits. Couldn't recommend Jasmine enough! She was super communicative, kind and sent lots of photo updates while I was out of town. We had one of our walkers fall through while on vacation and she had no problem helping us out last minute :) Definitely will be using her services again in the future!
Ari is EXCEPTIONAL!!! We have a VERY uncomfortable 11 yr old pup and do not ever leave her alone. She warmed up to Ari extremely fast. Her communication was excellent.
