“Melly had such a wonderful stay! We loved the daily updates and pictures from May -- it really put my mind at ease, especially since our pup has had separation anxiety issues in the past. We will definitely use May & Marc for any future sitter needs!”

“Hands down my go to for pet sitting. Amazing communication and great pictures to keep your mind at ease while away. For sure will use in the future for pet sitting. 10 out of 10!”

“Brooke was the absolute best with our puppy River!! I loved the video and photo updates and just knew he was in the best hands! He can’t wait for his next stay 🐶”

“Michael did an AMAZING job taking care of our dog. Very conscientious and careful, he took her on lots of walks and went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable at his home. This was our first pet sitting experience and he really put us at ease. He also sent photos everyday and we felt our dog was watched after as one of his own. Great job!”

“Shuo was great with Milo! Super easy to coordinate with, really attentive, and sent lots of photos and videos. Milo had a blast playing with her dog, Dou. Milo is already looking forward to returning!”

“Ehda took wonderful care of my dear friend Nico. I could tell that she loves how wonderful dogs are, and it comforted me to leave him with someone who cared about him. Pictures everyday, super responsive to messaging, and flexible with scheduling. Thank you!”

“Kimberly was incredible and kind and has a perfect and safe setup to watch our pup! A+ experience overall! Great communication and tons of pictures throughout our trip made us feel at easy and able to enjoy being away. We will be bringing our pup back to her very soon 😁”

“Robin was great! She was very communicative and kept us updated throughout our trip, including sending us pictures of our pup. We really appreciated the updates and felt comfortable knowing he was in good hands. We would definitely use her again!”

“Winnie came home happy and calm. With our previous sitter, she was often anxious and it took an adjustment period to settle back in. After being in Claire's care, Winnie was noticeably relaxed and herself, not stressed. Claire communicated regularly and kept us informed how things were going. We will definitely reach out for Claire's help again.”

“Yongzi took such incredible care of our dogs! She has watched them twice now and both times we got lots of updates and knew they were well taken care of. Our pups loved getting to run around in the backyard!”

“Alix is an amazing person! She and her kids took great care of Zoya. They cuddled and played with her and took her with them to various fun activities. I got pictures and videos everyday and I could see Zoya had so much fun and was so happy staying with her family. I am so grateful that I found Alix! Thank you so much! ”

“Julia was great with our Pup and she came back very happy and well taken care of. She provided daily photos and updates and was very responsive to us. We will certainly be using her again next time we are out of town.”

“Ruda was just awesome! From the numerous photos and videos that they sent, I just knew that Kenji was having a great time and was in good hands. I’ve already made arrangements to rebook with him!”

“Lena and her family did an incredible job boarding our dog (50 lbs/7 yrs old) for 5 days while we were away. She was so responsive and easy to communicate with. Lena sent update photos and videos of our dog throughout our trip and gave our dog so many more walks and outdoor explorations than she gets at home. I could rest easy knowing our dog was happy with Lena!! I would recommend Lena for dog boarding to anyone considering booking with her.”

“Yating was so great with my dog Joey and he loves her! Our first time boarding with her was so well we definitely will go back to her again. She made sure all his needs were met and gave him plenty of walks and exercise. She was so accommodating and sweet to us! Grateful to have found a great sitter”

“Zil and Casey were so amazing with our two cats (1 cat, 1 kitten). I’ve never left them with anyone before so I was worried about how they would interact with other cats, but they did great and I know getting the interaction with other cats will only benefit them as they get older. We received updates daily with a lot of pictures and videos. It was wonderful to go on vacation and not be worried about them at home. I highly recommend Zil and Casey and will definitely use them again.”

“Chewie had a great time with Khamsay and Amit. He was well taken care of with lots of walks. Khamsay sent lots of updates with photos and was so nice. Chewie can’t wait for his next stay with them.”

“Linda took a chance on us as first-time Rover users and fairly new dog owners. And we are so so glad she did!! We were very lucky to have heard about Rover through a friend and knew it'd be a better option than a kennel for us. Since we weren't sure until two days before our trip whether or not we'd be able to bring Chica along with us, Linda was great in offering the flexibility to take her in a little last-minute. Linda invited us over a few days before the trip so that we could all meet. It immediately felt like a good fit. Sammie is literally the sweetest dog in the world and must be a good role model because Chica returned happy, calm, and sweeter than ever!! Linda is very active and very intuitive with dogs- and it was nice to see that in action when we met her and Sammie. Linda texted us updates while we were gone (very much appreciated as new parents!) and Sammie was such a sweetheart she agreed to sleep halfway in Chica's small bed because apparently Chica loved the big bed! I couldn't offer higher recommendations for Linda to care for your pup. We are so, so happy to know that Linda and Sammie can care for Chica when we need it!! Also: when talking to our neighbor after meeting Linda, our neighbor said she hired Linda to walk her two rescues for months while she had a broken foot and she, too, raved about how great Linda is with her dogs. My heart is so warmed by this service knowing that people like Linda are involved. And if your pup happens to like squeaky toys: Linda's house is a pup-heaven!!”

About: I'm a dog owner myself. I have had a senior dog that needed medication. I've had foster dogs of all shapes and types. I'd say I treat my dogs almost like humans. They get tons of love, attention, words of affirmation, and TLC. I turn music on for them if I need to leave. My pet friends are my biggest source of joy and I do all that I can to adhere to any schedules, special requests, and whatever it takes to keep my doggie friends happy and comfortable. I work from home full time. The busiest time in my work day is from 7-10am for remote meetings. I have a lot of flexibility for walks, dog park outings, and cuddle time. I am on meetings so excessive barkers could be a little tough. I have a large fenced yard where doggies love to sniff and roam and explore. I am generally outside observing. I have a large grassy yard that is fully fenced. I always join my doggie friends outside to make sure they are safe and not getting into any trouble. My goal is to make sure my pet friend has frequent breaks outside, walks as needed, and a comfortable and quiet home to nap and do their thing. There are no small children here. I have 2 dogs of my one - a 10 year old male, 25lb mixed poodle terrier and a 2 year old male, 11lb mixed poodle mutt. They both like easy going dogs. Both are neutered.

“Paz was amazing! She took care of everything, that I asked her to do. Sent pictures during the visits. And my cat wasn’t meowing much after leaving him for 4 days, which is a huge win. Very happy with the results.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my house at all times, and have a lifetime of experience walking, feeding, and taking care of them over the years. Recently, my childhood dog Kona (a sheepdog mutt) crossed the rainbow bridge, and I really miss being around dogs. As a kid, I taught Kona how to fetch when she was 5 months old, tricks and commands (sit, roll over, speak, shake), and I cut her long sheepdog coat about every other month for almost 10 years :). My recent experience includes dog sitting, walking, and helping raise my sisters’ dogs (ranging from a 1 month old lab to a 15 year old husky mix). I also cat sit (2 cats) for my friend in New York when I visit. I’ve been told I have a special gift of connecting with dogs and cats, and I truly enjoy spending time with them :) I’ve even worked with dogs on-set for clients at work! I’m a competitive lacrosse player, so I am already active and have the strength to handle bigger breeds. My sister’s 1-year old lab is almost 80lbs and I take care of him regularly. Looking for some extra opportunities to go on walks/runs and stay active!! I also grew up in San Diego and currently have a lot of schedule flexibility since I freelance for work. I currently freelance and have a light load of clients at the moment, so I have a lot of time and flexibility. I can be available weekdays and weekends. I’d love consistent schedules but can be available for last minute or one off bookings as well. I am very respectful of others’ spaces, and can follow rules very well if your dog(s) need to be crated, only in certain rooms, etc. I won’t enter or use any part of your home that you don’t feel comfortable with and will always default to the side of caution to ensure your privacy and trust. Also, if your dog has a favorite walking route I’m happy to utilize familiar environments as well! Please let me know about any specifics and I’d always gladly accept feedback.

“I was away for 11 days while Devon looked after my cat, Tito, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She sent thoughtful daily updates and the sweetest photos of them playing and cuddling together—I loved watching their bond grow over the week. It was clear Tito felt safe and happy, which made it so much easier for me to be away. Devon even stayed a little longer on some days just to spend more time with him. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring hands, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was a teenager, and I truly love spending time with animals—it feels like such an honor and a privilege. While I don’t currently have pets of my own due to my travels, caring for other people’s pets helps fill that void until I can adopt a furry friend of my own! I work from home with a flexible schedule. I pet sit and dog walk for friends and family whenever I can because I love it. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s. I always make sure the environment is secure, free of hazards, and suited to the pet’s needs. I follow any specific instructions from the owner, including dietary restrictions, medication schedules, and preferred routines. When walking dogs, I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoiding unsafe areas and extreme weather conditions. In a client’s home, I ensure doors and gates are properly closed, and I respect the pet’s space while providing plenty of attention and care. My goal is to create a stress-free, comfortable experience for both pets and their owners!

“Audrey was so great with our sweet cat, Milo. She is exceptionally timely, provides great updates and photos, and super resourceful - helping us troubleshoot an issue with our autofeeder. We are super appreciative. This was our second time working with Audrey, and we will again!”

“I cannot recommend Brianna enough as a pet sitter! She took care of my cat, Henry, while I was away, and her attentiveness and care were truly outstanding. Brianna kept me updated with regular pictures and videos, which not only let me see how happy and well-cared-for Henry was but also gave me so much peace of mind. She clearly loves what she does and took the time to make Henry feel comfortable and cared for. Knowing I could trust her completely made my time away so much easier. If you’re looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and dedicated, Brianna is absolutely the best choice. Thank you, Brianna, for going above and beyond!”

“When my husband and I brought home our puppy, Bridget, our biggest concern was how she would be cared for while we’re at work. Alice and Trey alleviated any worries and then some! They are communicative, attentive, and treat Bridget like one of their own. I can go to work with total confidence and peace of mind that she is well cared for and enjoying fresh air, exercise, and socialization. They have been nothing short of a blessing for us as our pup grows!”

“What a great person with intelligence, wit and so dependable. I can’t brag on Gina enough! She’s definitely going to be my go to favorite! Very attentive to my fat cat and actually got close! My cat just doesn’t do that but I think they became friends.”

“Drea did a wonderful job! She came to my house before my trip to meet me and my kitties, Gus and Boo. She was really good with G and B, and she consistently sent me photos and updates. From her photos and updates, it appears that she took good care of my babies, and they were happy with her. And she left my house neat and the linens in the laundry, as I requested. It's a big deal to trust one's home and beloved kitties with someone new, and I can say that I'd absolutely ask Drea back the next time I travel! Drea--thanks so very much!!!!”

“zil n her husband were OVER MY EXPECTATIONS ? as a new cat owner and new to this whole pet sitting, i was a lil nervous but all my worries were gone w zil!!! i knew nemo was having a great time w new friends and was being taken care of like their own <3 zil n her husband truly love cats!!! and we def could tell <3 10/10 reccommend. also loved the daily pics and vids!”

About: While dogs have been a part of my life for over 25 years, I've also developed a genuine love for caring for cats. For the past two months, I've provided weekly care for two Persian cats, learning the importance of respecting each cat's unique personality and routine. I understand that cats thrive on consistency, patience, and a calm environment. Whether your cat enjoys playtime and attention or prefers quiet companionship, I'll care for them at their own pace while keeping their routine as stress-free as possible. I'll make sure your cat receives fresh food and water, a clean litter box, plenty of affection (if they want it!), and careful attention to their comfort and well-being. My goal is for both you and your cat to feel completely at ease while you're away.

About: Hi, I’m Kord. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have cared for more than 20 cats over the past 10 years. I know how much our animals mean to us—they’re not just pets; they’re family. My goal is simple: when you’re away, I want your dog or cat to feel safe, loved, and genuinely happy to see me. I bring patience, positive energy, playfulness, and lots of affection to every visit. For dogs, that might mean a fun adventure, a great walk, or simply getting outside and enjoying the day. For cats, it might mean earning their trust, giving them space when they need it, and eventually getting that special moment when they decide, “Okay… I like this guy.” I want your pets to look forward to seeing me as much as I look forward to seeing them. And I want you to come home knowing they were cared for, loved, and treated like they were my own. Because at the end of the day, your peace of mind matters to me just as much as your pet’s happiness.
About: Hello! My name is Cecelia and I am so excited to get to know you and your pet! Growing up, I have always had a dog in my house and all of my extended family members have pets as well. I love going to parks and finding exciting and fun places. I love taking walks and am able to handle any sized pet. I have my own transportation so errands are not a problem. When not at work, my schedule is very flexible and I am a very easy going person. I work in biotech M-F and have weekends off. I will always send pics of your fur baby and as many updates as you’d like! I have a mini goldendoodle (30lbs) named Ollie who is such a love bug and gets along with any sized dog. Cant wait to meet your fur baby :) M-F I work in office for about 9 hours a day and am home no later than 4pm most days. When home, I love to take my dog on walks around the neighborhood or take him to a park. On the weekends, I bring my dog to get coffee with me and we take a walk on the beach. I love being as active as I can with my dog and would love for your pet to join us! I provide a safe, calm, and enriching environment with plenty of exercise, attention, and supervision. I live in a dog-friendly condo community directly across from a park, so dogs enjoy regular walks, potty breaks, and outdoor time throughout the day. We also take neighborhood walks on the many nearby sidewalks, and sometimes stroll through One Paseo for new sights and smells (with owner approval). On weekends, I’m typically home, so pets receive lots of companionship and aren’t left alone for long periods. When I do run errands, I often bring dogs along if we’re visiting pet-friendly places. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while keeping their routine as close to home as possible.

“Christy did an awesome job watching my dog - she was great with communication and sent so many pictures and videos while he was there! The second day pulling onto her street, he got soo excited in the car that he was coming back and having the closed in backyard was great for my energetic dog, would definitely recommend!”

“Julia made our San Diego visit so much more enjoyable as she watched our fur baby. She was very prompt, responsive, and flexible. Definitely requesting her again for our next visit.”

“This was my first rover so I was admittedly quite nervous. Not only for myself, but even my dogs caretaker as at 4 months old, she can still have puppy like tics. Despite it all, Linda was communicative, thorough and a joy to interact with. You can tell her family has a great vibe, and that reflects in how they treat their dogs. I’m especially appreciative that we were a bit late to pick my pup up due to some traffic and Linda was so understanding and patient. Two paws way way up ?”
“Laura and her husband took great care of Ozzie. He went on a few nice walks and enjoyed his time by the beach! Laura was flexible and easy to communicate with to organize drop off and pick up. When I’m next in the area, I would rebook.”

“Angelica took such great care of our 4 month old puppy, Tapioca. She sent us pictures throughout the day and took him on 3 walks! Plus, their dachshund, Copper, was also wonderful playmate. We will definitely reach out again for dog sitting with Angelica.”

“Thank you for watching our sweet girl last minute. The whole process was so smooth and Ehda and her mom were wonderful. Super responsive and so nice! Bailey had a great time! Thanks again!”

“Our dog had another great stay with Shuo - this time just for the day! When I dropped him off, he was so excited to spend time with Shuo and Dou that he barely noticed me leaving. When we picked him up, I could tell he had a great day! Thanks, Shuo!”

“Torrey has stayed with Ari for Doggy Day Care three times now and each time if fantastic. Torrey is so excited to see and spend with day with Ari that she can't stop wiggling when we get there. Thanks again, Ari!”

“Sarah was great! Her communication was excellent (photos/updates). It was evident that Bailey felt so comfortable and enjoyed her walks! We will definitely be using her again. Thank you!”

“I usually don’t like to leave my dog with strangers but I’m so glad someone like Claire is able to take care of my boy, and show him love. Claire is very loving and responsive. I’d definitely take any pet to her before anyone else on this app. I can tell my dog loves going over there with her!”

“Brooke was amazing! I felt very comfortable leaving my sweet girl with her. I appreciated all the prompt communication & photo updates. Can confidently say we will be booking again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since as long as I can remember! I’ve helped train puppies and large dogs. I was a foster to many different types of dogs for two years! I will go the extra mile to care for your animal by playing with them to get them mentally and physically exercised. I love all animals! I am a teacher so I have my summers off! I am available on weekdays and weekends as long as I get a days heads up. I can travel to your house to let the dog out or feed your cat. I have a fenced in yard and no animals or kids. “Julie was fantastic! Rossi was so excited to go over there for a few days of daycare. Rossi loved her and looked happy, she was super nice and responsive and took great care of him”

“Mustafa came through on very short notice, was super flexible and willing to help out how ever he could. He even went above and beyond in caring for our pups, our yard, and our home. So grateful to have found him, highly recommend!”

“Caity was super responsive when it came to trying to book daycare for my dog! Her dog got along with mine super well, and they loved to play. She gave me updates while he was there, and for the meet and greet she hung out with my dog for an hour so we could make sure he would do okay, and I could run some errands!”

“Kimberly and her family took such great care of our two dogs. We had a meeting in San Diego and needed a dog watcher for a few hours. Kimberly was super quick to answer my questions before booking and helped me figure out how far she was from our meeting and hotel. What a relief and peace of mind. Her home is lovely. The yard is a wonderful play spot for any sized dog. She also asked insightful questions when we first met such as do they like certain treats - made us feel like she not only would house the dogs but would actually care for them and make sure they are having a good time. I highly recommend Kimberly and her pack for daycare and overnight. She's just super cool and has a nice warm energy about her. Five star all the way!”

“I needed a place for my fur baby to stay while my housekeepers were cleaning and I contacted Ruda. He responded right away and was able to provide daycare for my dog with 24 hour notice. You can tell Ruda is a "dog person" and he took very good care of my boy and took him on walks even though he didn't have a very long stay at his home. Drop off and pick up was super easy too. Thanks Ruda! We will be coming back again.”

When going to your place, I can bring my own leash and toys if needed. I have my own mode of transportation so traveling back and forth will not be a problem.
About: I have hands-on experience with reactive dogs, having raised and trained two of my own. I know how much patience, consistency, and calm energy it takes to help a nervous or reactive pup feel safe, and I’ve spent countless hours on exposure work and training to do just that. Whether your dog is shy, anxious, or still learning their manners, they’re in understanding hands with me Caring for dogs is part of my daily rhythm. Between my own dog and the time I spend on walks and play, dogs are always in my schedule. I have plenty of flexibility throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and giving your pup the time and attention they deserve I’ll always come to you, where your dog feels safest. I’ll follow whatever routine your pup already knows, and when we’re walking, my phone stays in my pocket so your dog has my full attention. I always keep the leash secure and lock up before I go. If your dog is reactive, you’re in good hands. I’ve had two reactive dogs of my own, so I know how to stay calm, read the signs, and move them away from triggers before things get to be too much. Either way, you’ll get photo updates so you can relax knowing your pup is happy and safe
“Halle was great! Willing to help us out when we realized last minute that we would need a daily dog walker during our trip. She was prompt, reliable, and trustworthy. Would highly recommend.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and San Diego-based grad student with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Growing up, my family always had dogs in the house, from rescues, energetic pups, protective breeds, and sweet seniors, so I'm comfortable with just about any temperament or need. Over the years I've dog-sat for friends and family, and I regularly help with my mom's dog walking and sitting business when I'm home. I’d love to give your dog some extra love and attention while you’re busy or away. Whether your pup needs long walks, playtime, or just some company, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes and always make sure to keep owners updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind. Can’t wait to meet you and your dog! My schedule is fairly flexible on both weekdays and weekends. I'm available for midday walks, potty breaks, and overnight stays. Happy to accommodate last-minute requests. I will always prioritize keeping your dog safe, comfortable, and stress-free whether at my place or yours. My neighborhood is quiet, residential, and has plenty of walking paths and green spaces!

“Trey did a wonderful job with our two dogs. We adopted our oldest dog when he was over a year old. He had suffered some trauma and has severe anxiety around men he does not know. While he has come a long way under our care, now at 4 years old it's still an issue he has. But Trey went above and beyond, visiting approximately four times before our trip departure to ensure that our Shaq would gain his trust. Our puppy absolutely loved Trey and his family right away, and we were able to travel with peace of mind knowing that our dogs would get their exercise on a daily basis. Trey also sent daily updates, pictures and short videos regarding each of their walks. Would hire him again. He did a great job!”

Great job!”

“Ehda took wonderful care of my dear friend Nico. I could tell that she loves how wonderful dogs are, and it comforted me to leave him with someone who cared about him. Pictures everyday, super responsive to messaging, and flexible with scheduling. Thank you!”

“Sarah did a great job watching Roxie for us while we were away for an evening. Our pup warmed up to her quickly and we got several updates throughout the evening so we knew she was in good hands. Thank you, Sarah!”

“Anna took great care of our dog PJ while we were on vacation. She is nice and thorough, and I could tell PJ was in great hands. My anxious dog needed a calm and understanding environment and she was able to provide that. Anna was able to follow the feeding and other instructions easily, and communicated with me daily, providing pictures and videos of PJ while we were away. I think PJ enjoyed his time so much with Anna because he wasn’t really excited to see me back! Thank you Anna for taking in my quirky PJ and providing for his needs while we were on vacation. 😊”

“Olivia and Sebastien were so great! This was the longest we’d ever left our dog Millie, but we got so many great pictures and videos we knew she was having a great time!! They were responsive, friendly, and had clear communication with us. They went above and beyond to make sure all Millie’s needs were met / special requests were followed. Their dog Zuko is also so great, Millie had a great time while we were away! Would recommend them to anyone.”

“I immediately knew my pup was in good hands when I met Keely - he was immediately comfortable with her. She took him on plenty of walks and gave him all the puppy love! Highly recommend Keely , 5/5 experience - will definitely be using again!”

“Our family is incredibly grateful for Julia's care of Theo and 8Ball during our family trip. Now that they're back home, both are active, healthy, and doing well. Their past few days have been comfortable and reassuring.”

“Abigail was responsive and provided lots of updates. My 2 pups seemed comfortable with her and were in great spirits when I picked them up. Would book with her again.”

“Holly was an amazing sitter for Hazel. I received regular pupdates with pictures and in every single photo Hazel looked absolutely comfortable and happy with Holly, her home, and her family (including her 2 dogs). I feel 100% confident and comfortable using Holly’s services in the near future and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Linda and Zach were great to Noodle!! They sent me photos, were extremely responsive and my pup was nice and tired from his stay. Would have them watch Noodle again! 😌”

“Mayank and Shruti went above and beyond! i was very nervous with it being peppers first time overnight with anybody new but they made it a great experience for her! i got daily pictures and was very reassured that pepper was comfortable. she came back a happy pup. would highly recommend them!”
