“I have a real sense of security and comfort when Ellyn cares for my girl Gretel, my GSD. Ellyn is a true professional with the perfect blend of structure and sweetness that Gretel needs. This particular assignment was to give Gretel her dinner and hang out for a bit so her alone time before I got home late that night wouldn’t be too long. Gretel was excited but not frantic when I got home which tells me her time with Ellyn was enriching and comfortable for her. Thank you Ellyn!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who truly can’t imagine life without animals. I grew up on a cattle ranch surrounded by dogs and cats so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. From raising puppies to loving senior dogs through their golden years, I’ve experienced every stage and I cherish them all. I grew up with two Labradors and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and I currently have an 8 yr old rescue Chiweenie from Mexico and a 13 yr old Goldendoodle. Caring for a senior dog has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and gentle care. For the past 7 years, I’ve also volunteered with 2 local dog rescues which has given me extensive experience with all types of dogs including those who are reactive, anxious or strong leash pullers. I’m comfortable administering medication and always approach each dog with a calm and loving energy. I treat every dog like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe and completely loved while you’re away. Whether your dog loves long walks and jogs, or prefers slow sniff filled strolls or cozy cuddle time at home, I’m happy to meet them exactly where they are. I’m reliable, punctual, and communicative and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you feel connected and at ease. My goal is to become your go-to, trusted dog walker and someone your dog gets genuinely excited to see! I truly love dogs so much and I can’t wait to meet yours 🤍 I currently have a very flexible schedule which allows me to be fully present during my time with dog. I'm available weekday or weekend care. Safety and trust are everything to me. I take the time to learn your dog’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can care for them just like you would. On walks, I stay alert and mindful, with experience handling reactive or strong leash pullers, always prioritizing their safety. In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and consistent while making sure water is full, feeding routines are followed, and medications are given if needed. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you feel at ease, knowing your dog is safe, happy, and truly cared for ◡̈
“Cary is a lifesaver!! She made sure my pets were taken care of when I was away at a wedding all day. Multiple check ins, plenty of photos, lots of cuddles given and she even got to spend time with my very shy cat. It is evident she cares seriously for your animals and provides the very best of care. She’s a very kind and sweet woman too! Thank you so much for helping me!”

“Aubrey is the best! Looks like our dog had a great time based on the adorable pictures she got of him, and everything was in order when we got home. Absolutely will keep using Aubrey to care for our boy!”

“Madison was so great! Not only did she take the best care of my senior kitty. She was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure my kitty was so comfortable and loved while we were away. I would highly recommend her. I can't say enough great things!”

About: I'm a dog owner myself. I have had a senior dog that needed medication. I've had foster dogs of all shapes and types. I'd say I treat my dogs almost like humans. They get tons of love, attention, words of affirmation, and TLC. I turn music on for them if I need to leave. My pet friends are my biggest source of joy and I do all that I can to adhere to any schedules, special requests, and whatever it takes to keep my doggie friends happy and comfortable. I work from home full time. The busiest time in my work day is from 7-10am for remote meetings. I have a lot of flexibility for walks, dog park outings, and cuddle time. I am on meetings so excessive barkers could be a little tough. I have a large fenced yard where doggies love to sniff and roam and explore. I am generally outside observing. I have a large grassy yard that is fully fenced. I always join my doggie friends outside to make sure they are safe and not getting into any trouble. My goal is to make sure my pet friend has frequent breaks outside, walks as needed, and a comfortable and quiet home to nap and do their thing. There are no small children here. I have 2 dogs of my one - a 10 year old male, 25lb mixed poodle terrier and a 2 year old male, 11lb mixed poodle mutt. They both like easy going dogs. Both are neutered.
About: I am centrally located by I-5 in a house with a fenced back yard, without any access by other animals. My home is filled with love and positivity! Many years of dog sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors. My teenage daughter and I are the ultimate dog lovers and it shows, we are always on time, follow their diets and walks are as long as possible. We are very flexible to accommodate your beloved baby’s needs. Weekends are almost always available, evenings and nights, too. During the week days, it varies. Just ask! We have a fenced yard and a park next to our house. Whether walking or pet sitting, I always make sure the safety is number one priority.
About: I love surfing and going on adventures with dogs. I have cared for all types of dogs of all ages. I love them all very much. I am a full time dog sitter and walker. I love taking my dogs to the dog park in Encinitas and long walks on the coast! I do not board the dogs at my home. I am honest and trustworthy, I have taken care of dogs for many years in San Diego.
“Isabella was top notch! Best cat-sitter west of the Mississippi! 😃 She took amazing care of my grieving kitty who has lost all his buddies/companions while I was away. So happy she could and was empathetic for good ol Skiddy da cat! Thanks again. Will definitely be using her again.”

“Emily was so wonderful during her drop in visits with our sweet Luna girl! Luna loved her and Emily is a natural with animals. She provides excellent updates and is very thorough and thoughtful! Highly recommend her!”

“Kathryn was great! She was very communicative and flexible with a last-minute day trip I planned with my family. She sent pictures and updates, which were greatly appreciated. Would definitely use Kathryn again to look after our dog, Porter!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all breeds since I was young, whether for friends, family, or neighbors. From daily walks to overnight house and dog sitting, I’ve had experience with it all. I’m comfortable working with both small and large breeds, as well as dogs with different energy levels—from relaxed and low-key to very active and high-energy. I grew up around large dogs, so I’m especially confident handling bigger breeds, but I truly love being around dogs of all kinds. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m available in the late afternoons and evenings on most days for dog walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I also offer overnight care for dogs who need extra attention and a comfortable, consistent presence while their owners are away. I’m flexible with timing within those windows and happy to work around your pet’s routine to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible. I maintain a calm, attentive environment during walks and in-home care, and I always follow owner instructions closely—especially regarding feeding, medication, leash rules, and routines. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including larger and more active breeds.
“AJ is great with my dogs, I’ve scheduled him for walks and drop ins and he’s great with both. He’s very attentive and follows specific instructions/details to a T! Super easy to communicate with and very nice guy.”

Ari did an amazing job watching our small dog. She was patient with her so she could feel comfortable with someone else taking care of her. Our dog is a rescue from the streets of Mexico and is afraid of everything. We were sent updates and photos from Ari all day long of the 2 of them bonding and playing. We would definitely recommend Ari if you need someone to spend quality time with your pet.

We are very grateful for Luciana. For nearly two years now she has been a steady presence in our puppy sitting journey. We recently received a difficult diagnosis for one of our dogs (glaucoma) and the daily care for her eyes has become very complex. Today Luciana helped us get comfortable with trusting her with Rylee’s care while we got out of the house for the first time in over 3 months (to join our friends for a San Diego Padres baseball game for the day). Luciana is extremely calm and attentive to every detail. We couldn’t have enjoyed the day if it wasn’t for Luciana.
