“Tori and her fiance were great! They we’re very communicative, responded quickly when I texted them, took my two dogs out for about 11 minute walk even though it was dark out so they could get some exercise and go to the bathroom. I only used her for a drop in service this time, but would not hesitate to use her to come and sit at my house in the future.”

“Barbara is AMAZING! Barbara took care of my 3 cats while i was out of town for 2 weeks. She was friendly, timely, responsive and truly loved my pets. Loved the photos and her concerns for the pets! I will definitely book again without hesitation”

“Cary is a lifesaver!! She made sure my pets were taken care of when I was away at a wedding all day. Multiple check ins, plenty of photos, lots of cuddles given and she even got to spend time with my very shy cat. It is evident she cares seriously for your animals and provides the very best of care. She’s a very kind and sweet woman too! Thank you so much for helping me!”

About: I have cared for animals since I was 5, whether that was a family pet or a stray. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments as I have previous experience in a boarding/veterinary facility. Additionally, I have fostered puppies and older dogs with many different medical and training needs. I also have over 10 years of experience with horses and caring for animals of that nature. Currently I am a student at Mira Costa College, however, I am majority online so my schedule is very flexible for playtimes and walks with your pet! Keeping up with a pet’s routine and safety are my number 1 goals. I am unable to have others’ pets in my home, but I intend to respect others’ homes and values when caring for their pets.

About: I have 2 dogs currently and I have had 3 dogs at one time. I also dog sit occasionally for family friends. Most of my dog sitting experience has been staying at someone’s house and taking care of the dogs and house. I know how to take care of both puppies and senior dogs and I have experience giving medication to pets as well. I’m currently on a summer break in between graduating from the University of Michigan and attending law school in the fall. Most of my days are very open so I would love to fill them with pet sitting or dog walking! I have experience dog sitting overnight and following routines. I have a bigger lab and a smaller dog, and I have also had a husky. I have lots of experience with all kinds of dogs and their routines!
About: Growing up I was the kid knocking on every neighbor’s door to walk their dog. My parents eventually me a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. A big, strong-willed breed that taught me a lot about patience and understanding a dog on their own terms. My family has had multiple dogs since, and I volunteer at local shelters whenever I can. Shelter work especially has given me a lot of experience. I’ve worked with dogs of all backgrounds, including shy and fearful dogs who need extra patience to build trust, seniors who need gentle and attentive care, and dogs with aggression who just need someone calm and consistent. I know how to read a dog’s body language, respect their boundaries, and help them feel safe in an unfamiliar situation. On top of that, I’m the first person everyone calls when they need help with their animals — friends, family, neighbors — and I’ve cared for a huge variety of breeds and personalities over the years. I have an incredibly flexible schedule, which means your pet gets my genuine time and attention. I’m available for services throughout the week, with only occasional short windows away a couple of times a week that never exceed about 3-4 hours. Unless there’s a special event, you can count on me being available and ready to give your pup the love and care they deserve! I live in a spacious condo in Solana Beach with a fenced outside deck and real grass potty pads that are always accessible, so your pup can go whenever they need to. I maintain a clean, pet-proofed, and calm environment where your pet can truly relax. I always keep dogs leashed in public, never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations, and stay fully attentive to their needs and body language throughout the day. I’ll send regular photo and video updates throughout the day, because I know how much it means to see your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away.
About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life—growing up with both cats and dogs taught me early how to care for pets with love and patience. Over the years, I’ve been the go-to sitter for my friends whenever they go out of town, whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or just making sure their pets feel comfortable and cared for. I understand that every pet has its own personality and needs, and I always do my best to match their energy and routines. Whether your furry friend is energetic and playful or more laid-back and shy, I’ve got them covered! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I’m available for regular walks, drop-ins, or extended care depending on your pet’s needs. I keep my availability up to date and do my best to be reliable and consistent, so you can count on me to stick to your pet’s routine. I’m also happy to coordinate a schedule that works best for you. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with respect and follow all instructions closely—from feeding routines and walk preferences to any special needs or behaviors. I take extra care to ensure doors, gates, and crates are always secure, and I never leave pets unattended longer than agreed. I stay attentive during walks and in the home to keep your pet safe at all times. You can expect clear communication and regular updates, so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.
“We were in bit of bind as we extended our vacation another week to attend to some business. We had only booked 2 weeks with a previous pet sitter and needed help with the last minute planned 3rd week. Audrey, was very easy to communicate with and had no problem”

“When my husband and I brought home our puppy, Bridget, our biggest concern was how she would be cared for while we’re at work. Alice and Trey alleviated any worries and then some! They are communicative, attentive, and treat Bridget like one of their own. I can go to work with total confidence and peace of mind that she is well cared for and enjoying fresh air, exercise, and socialization. They have been nothing short of a blessing for us as our pup grows!”

“Can’t recommend Drea enough! She arrived on time, provided regular updates (including photos & videos!), & gave Murphy the best love + care. We are now repeat customers! Five stars for Drea. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Sara is incredibly amazing. Trustworthy and responsive. Her communication style provides comfort for any companion animal owner. She's definitely on my short list of people to call when in need. She deserves my highest recommendation.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was a teenager, and I truly love spending time with animals—it feels like such an honor and a privilege. While I don’t currently have pets of my own due to my travels, caring for other people’s pets helps fill that void until I can adopt a furry friend of my own! I work from home with a flexible schedule. I pet sit and dog walk for friends and family whenever I can because I love it. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s. I always make sure the environment is secure, free of hazards, and suited to the pet’s needs. I follow any specific instructions from the owner, including dietary restrictions, medication schedules, and preferred routines. When walking dogs, I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoiding unsafe areas and extreme weather conditions. In a client’s home, I ensure doors and gates are properly closed, and I respect the pet’s space while providing plenty of attention and care. My goal is to create a stress-free, comfortable experience for both pets and their owners!

Solana Beach cat parents share their Rover experiences
Nycole was fantastic. One of the best pet sitters we've had. Our cats are friendly, but can be somewhat reserved to strangers. They took to Nycole immediately, even letting her hold them. Nycole was responsible, timely, and professional. She spent a good deal of time playing & entertaining the cats during her visits. Nycole asked if we needed any small extra efforts, such brining in patio furniture before an upcoming storm. Nycole is 5 stars all the way!

Emily watched my cat Niele again in October and, as always, did a wonderful job! She’s reliable, thoughtful, and keeps me updated with photos that give total peace of mind while I’m away. Niele is always relaxed and content when I return — clearly well cared for. I’m so grateful to have found such a caring and dependable sitter. Highly recommend!
