Furry & feathery kid caretaker
I have lived with and taken care of dogs and birds for most of my life. They have been a significant part of my life and where my love for animals started. I can help with visits, walks, and at home care of your kid/kids. I have experience care of adult and senior dogs and cats. I will keep close to their routine, administer medications, and make sure they receive plenty of belly rubs. I also have experience with small birds and large parrots. I do not board since I believe they will be more comfortable and adjust better to me when they are in their own home. Willing to set up a meeting to meet you and your furry or feathery kid before starting the pet sitting services. I will bring my computer to go over my questions to make sure I capture the details I need to be able to care for your furry or feathery kid/s.

I would care of your little one like they were my own. If walking is involved, I would stick to the recommend routes that they are familiar. I would also make sure parents get updates of how they are doing with plenty of pictures. My goal is for you to have peace of mind that they are comfortable and having a blast with me.

I’m so grateful to have found Evelyn! I tend not to go out of town because my three kitties usually get nervous about my absence (I wfh). I have always just had a neighbor pop by twice per day and call it good. Last time I was away for a few days, I came home and the cat dynamic in the house had changed for the worse. I feared I couldn’t ever go out of town or leave for longer than a few hours without causing them harm. I wanted to take my daughter on an end-of-summer adventure vacation, and set to find a solution that would be good for everyone. I knew it would be better for the fur babies to have someone just stay with them at the house to make sure they felt safe and cared for, but didn’t have anyone I could ask. I was cautious about inviting a stranger onto my home to stay while I was gone, but looked into Rover because I’ve only heard good things. I’m so glad I did, because I found an angel in Evelyn! Evelyn came over a few days before we left for our trip to meet the cats and find out about how we care for them so there is as little disruption as possible. Evelyn was so kind and professional and thorough! She asked a bunch of questions about our routine and house care (i.e., plant maintenance, etc) and wrote down all care instructions. I could tell she truly cared about animals and I found trust came very easily with her. While on our trip, I received pics and notes about what the kitties were up to and knew that they were being fed and played with and cared for. They looked like they were just going about their normal day and getting as much pets as they wanted! One of the babies looked to have taken very well to Evelyn. :) I felt so much better about being away from home, and enjoyed my vacation sooooo much more, knowing such a caring and thoughtful person was looking after them. I felt comfortable with her staying in my home and had a good feeling that she was respecting our home space. I came home to a tidy and easy-feeling vibe in the house. I hope she can come fill in for us for all of our trips out of town. Thank you so much, Evelyn!!
Evelyn kept us updated regularly and took great care of our Gladys. Will definitely use Evelyn again when we are unable to travel with Gladys.
Evelyn does an amazing job with our 2 pups. When we are out of town, Evelyn makes sure we have nothing to worry about and provides plenty of updates! Would 10/10 recommend

Schedule
If it's a home visit, I would work with the furry kids schedule to feed and bond with them. If it's a home stay I would figure out some activities for us to build trust and for them to feel comfortable having me around.

- Dogs- I would like to know if the furry kid gets along with other dogs to plan out outdoor activities. I will typically stay away from other dogs since all furry kids reactions vary. Also their energy activity level, I enjoy walking and exploring neighborhoods. I do not mind doing a small walk and finding a spot for them to people watch or smell the environment. I always like to know how long of a walk or play time in the yard we can do based on their energy level or health or comfort. Cats- I would like to know what activities they like to do aside from playing with our favorite laser pointer to keep them active inside. For all my clients, I like to know what is their dietary restrictions/allergies and if there is any routine the parent like me to follow to avoid any upset tummies.
