About: I have a Mini Australian Shepard of my own who is 3 years old, whom I trained myself. He is very well behaved. Additionally, I’ve been a dog and cat sitter for friends and family over the past 5 years. My service will include lots of walks, love, and play time with your pet. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available all day on weekends and on weekdays after 6 p.m. Although I live in an apartment, I do have access to 2 fenced dog parks across the street and I live close to Balboa park which makes for great walks!

“It was our first time ever having our dogs stay at someone’s home vs going to a boarding facility. Jennifer and Donald were awesome with our 2 Weimaraners, who can be demanding and a handful. We got photos and sometimes videos on a daily basis, which helped put our minds at ease during our vacation over Thanksgiving. We could see that our dogs were getting great walks, being properly fed and in a loving environment. About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog (does not live with me). I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

Amaru is very social and has never shown aggression toward a dog or person. He’s also famously picky about food (😩) so visiting dogs don’t have to worry about him being possessive over food. That said, we still feed dogs separately as a standard precaution and never leave visiting dogs unsupervised together. 📸 Our camera roll is already full of Amaru photos, so sending you regular pictures and updates of your dog throughout the day comes naturally. 🚨We’ll also collect your vet’s information and an emergency contact before the stay, and we’ll reach out right away if we notice anything unusual. I recently lost my 8-year-old lab/pitty mix and am hoping to continue engaging with dogs while dealing with the loss. I work from home full time so can give your dog all the love and attention they need. My schedule is pretty flexible and I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. I prefer to take dogs out at least twice daily for walks, including one longer scent walk where we let their nose lead the way. I live close to downtown San Diego and can easily walk to East Village or Gaslamp which is are extremely dog friendly areas. I have a small fenced-in yard and can easily crate your dog if necessary. I have experience administering oral medications if necessary and always keep a well stocked pet first aid kit in my home and car. I'm a member of PSI (Pet Sitters International) and have taken many courses including dog body language, pet sitting essentials and pet first aid. About: Hi! I’m Amy, a dependable and attentive dog lover who understands how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your pet. I have a senior dog of my own, Sammy, so I’m very comfortable with the routines, patience, and extra care that some dogs need, whether that’s slower walks, medication routines, or simply a calm and reassuring presence. I’m active, responsible, and love spending time outdoors, so I’m happy to tailor care to your dog’s needs, whether that means neighborhood walks, playtime, or relaxed companionship at home. I’ll care for your dog the way I’d want someone to care for mine: safely, lovingly, and with lots of attention to their unique personality and routine. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the week. I do have a standing commitment on Monday and Wednesday mornings that takes me away for a few hours, but outside of that I have a lot of flexibility and can often accommodate a variety of schedules with advance notice. I prioritize safe, attentive, and individualized care for every dog. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, temperament, triggers, and any special instructions before providing care. I’m mindful of leash safety, secure doors and gates carefully, monitor for signs of stress or discomfort, and make sure they have fresh water, exercise, and a calm environment. I also understand that every dog is different, some want lots of activity and play, while others do better with a slower pace, extra patience, or a more structured routine. My goal is always to make dogs feel comfortable!

About: I have a Mini Australian Shepard of my own who is 3 years old, whom I trained myself. He is very well behaved. Additionally, I’ve been a dog and cat sitter for friends and family over the past 5 years. My service will include lots of walks, love, and play time with your pet. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available all day on weekends and on weekdays after 6 p.m. Although I live in an apartment, I do have access to 2 fenced dog parks across the street and I live close to Balboa park which makes for great walks!

We got photos and sometimes videos on a daily basis, which helped put our minds at ease during our vacation over Thanksgiving. We could see that our dogs were getting great walks, being properly fed and in a loving environment. “Lori watched our dog Hana for four nights and we couldn’t be more pleased. Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”
