“Whitney is the best! Bentley is always well taken care of and Whitney is super great to schedule with. We had a rough trip home with flight delays. Moved pick up times like 3 time and ended up having to add two nights! Whitney was super flexible, adding days and rolling with the changes.”

“Cerita is so accommodating and sweet with Indy. We felt so comfortable leaving him for the night. We got updates and photos, he had so much fun! Indy would love to come back and visit!”

“Kaitlin & Verle took amazing care of our dog Punky. She clearly loves it there, and they are very attentive, caring, and communicative--can't recommend highly enough!”

“Natasha was incredibly attentive to our 8 month old pup and communicated regular updates! I appreciated that she asked how frequently we wanted updates to help set expectations upfront. She made sure our pup was not just well taken care of but engaged and exercised regularly, plus she kept up with training which was a bonus. We even went through travel delays getting home and she was flexible to accommodate the extra time, it was great knowing our dog was taken care of and didn't add to the stress of travel. We would absolutely use Natasha again.”

“Marwa was great with our rescue corgi. We were apprehensive about leaving our dog with a sitter so soon after adopting her, but as soon as we met Marwa our anxieties were eased. She was great about providing us photos, videos, and updates about our sweet girl. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again for our pet sitting needs.”

“This was Willow’s second time staying with Araceli, and when I picked her up, she didn’t want to come home! Araceli is the best, her manner with pups and her joyfulness with being a sitter is what makes me effortlessly comfortable to leave my Willow with her. Willow loves her “Tia” and she’ll be back!”

“Mihaela did an amazing job watching my doggo. My dog is senior so she needs more care, and she was very attentive, kind, and kept me informed. Highly recommend her!”

“20/10!! Savannah took amazing care of our pups!! Especially when it came to giving my one pup her eyedrops daily. She took the best photos and I could tell the pups had a great time! 100% recommend and would have our pups stay with her again!”

“This was our second time trusting Holly with our furbaby! She is always on time, communicates right away, and sends several daily updates so we never have to worry. It puts our minds completely at ease when we are missing our pup. Thank you, Holly, for being an awesome dog sitter!”

“Samantha watched our Lab Shepherd mix, and our dog was in absolute heaven! She has a lot of anxiety, but Samantha did an amazing job following her routine and making sure she felt safe, comfortable, and loved. She sent updates and pictures throughout the day, which I really appreciated and gave me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter!”

“We’ve been frequent flyers with Todd and Bill now for over a year. They have always been so welcoming of our little puppers and so loving with them. It’s scary leaving a furry friend behind so finding the right person to care for them like you would yourself is important. I love how happy my pups are when they come back from a pawcation😄they are so happy Zane tired. A tired dog.. is a happy dog.. very glad I found them!”

“I can highly recommend Jason to board your dog! He took wonderful care of Nikki and was very flexible when I had to extend for another day. She cane home washed with her nails clipped, smelling and looking great! He’ll be my first choice the next time I need someone to care for my dog.”

“Ami treated my boys well and kept me updated as one of them was having trouble adjusting to a new location. I really appreciate her patience and graciousness in caring for the boys. They both came home healthy, happy, and worn out. I’d definitely recommend Ami to other pet parents.”
“Everest was loved and taken care of! Kylie was super flexible and worked with me on pickup and drop off times. She kept me posted on how Everest was doing and sent me pictures of her. We will definitely book with Kylie and her family again.”

“Hana was wonderful with our slightly neurotic older poodle mix. When I picked her up after her overnight visit, she really seemed like she had had fun! And Hana's home environment seems like doggy paradise. She provided me pics throughout the day, and her communication was excellent. I would be glad to use Hana's services again.”

“Linda took wonderful care of my dog, Nicky. While Nicky was with her, we felt completely at ease. She kept us updated with photos, which meant a lot to us and showed how much attention and care she gives. Linda also took the time to get to know both us and Nicky, which made the experience even more personal and reassuring. I would absolutely recommend Linda and would trust her again to take care of my dog in the future.”

“Mark is an absolutely the best. He is so accommodating, easy to communicate with and goes above and beyond anything I couldn’t have hoped for. I had pictures everyday and my little guy was obviously at home. I felt confident and reassured that little “Stevie “ was well cared for and happy. It was all that I could have hoped for.”

“Paige was an amazing sitter for my cat! She played with her during her drop ins and kept constant communication including sending me pics of each visit. I will definitely book with her again next time I go out of town. Thanks again Paige!”

“Devon did a great job with my doggo! She has great ideas for training that I haven’t thought of and she seems to naturally attuned to what he is thinking and what he needs. My dog is really odd, so this is not an easy feat. I’m really glad that I found Devon and I will definitely seek her help with Tucker long term!”

“We can’t recommend Caity enough! We were first time Rover users and feel really blessed to have worked with Caity. From the beginning she was very understanding and patient with our questions. She took her time to hear our slightly nervous concerns over our two cats. We have one that required medication and I felt very comfortable knowing Caity had experience. Her reports were very detailed and I appreciated the numerous photos we got after each visit. We plan to use Caity in the future. Thank you for making sure our girls were so well taken care of and respecting our home with an equal amount of care.”

“Sara took great care of our kitties while we were on a weekend trip. She was very professional, caring and transparent in communication since from the beginning. I would highly recommend her and will be definitely booking her next time!”

“Whitney has watched my kitties twice in a row now, and both times was able to schedule on short notice! At one point, I was feeling anxious because one of cats wasn’t coming out to see Whitney and I worried he had gotten stuck in one of the rooms we closed. Whitney took my concerns seriously and went back to check on him first thing the next morning (he was fine, I’m I just a worrywart).”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life by dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, and at 40+ years in, my love for them has only grown. I've pet sat for many households and have a natural ability to handle all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I'm a verified member of Trusted House Sitters (in which the primary is pet sitting), and I take that seriously. I'm experienced with medically complex pets. I've administered subcutaneous fluids, insulin injections, and oral medications. I also have cared for special needs animals including a three-legged seizure-prone Chihuahua, a teacup Chihuahua with broken elbows, and a German Shepherd with cow-hocks disease. If your pet has extra needs, they're in capable hands. My approach is calm, grounded, and playful and animals feel it. I'm a certified hypnotherapist and life coach, and the same energy awareness and patience I bring to people, I bring to pets. Anxious, shy, and difficult animals tend to soften around me naturally. My sister didn't call me the Cat and Dog Whisperer for nothing. :D I have a soft spot for the ones others overlook. I've rescued an abandoned Chihuahua-Terrier, adopted a shelter pup, and my two boys Bruce and Charlie came to me as feral kittens nobody else wanted. Every animal deserves patience, consistency, and genuine love and that's exactly what I bring to every walk and drop-in. I'm a San Diego local with regular availability in LA County as well, so wherever you are, I've got you covered. My schedule is flexible and I'm available most weekdays and select weekends, morning through evening. I don't operate on a rigid 9-to-5, which means I can work around your pet's needs rather than the other way around. Outside of pet care, I'm an active, outdoorsy person and love hiking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. That energy carries directly into every walk and drop-in. Your dog won't just get a stroll around the block, they'll get someone who genuinely loves being outside and moving. Your pet's safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities always. I follow your established routines closely and take detailed instructions seriously. Every home, every pet, and every owner is different, and I respect that. When I'm in your home I treat it with care. I leave things as clean or cleaner than I found them. Your space and your pet's environment will be respected. I'm extremely mindful of doors and escape artists. I know how quickly a curious pet can bolt, and I create my own blockades when needed to make sure no one slips out unexpectedly. I'm comfortable walking multiple dogs simultaneously including large, high-energy breeds. I've walked a Rottweiler and German Shepherd together, both with strong pulling tendencies, and handled them with confidence. You'll never wonder how your pet is doing. I send photos and updates daily including sometimes multiple times a day because I know how much you miss them and how much it means to see a happy face pop up on your phone. I also have hands-on experience with pet first aid, including applying Quik Stop for bleeding so minor mishaps are handled calmly and quickly without panic. Your home, your routines, your pet I've got all of it handled.

“I always book with Audrey because she takes great care of my cats when I’m out of town. Always takes great notes and sends plenty of update pictures so I don’t feel like I’m missing out on seeing my pets. Thanks again Audrey!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child, we always had dogs and cats in our household and I’ve been in love with animals my whole life. I loved taking care of our pets and started a neighborhood dog walking business. I’m not afraid of big dogs and know how to treat animals with kindness and empathy. I currently work full time M-F, and am usually available those days after 4:30 pm. I’m also open to pet care over the weekends when I don’t have anything planned. I currently have no pets, but have lived with pets in my household most of my life. I treat all pets I interact with as if they are my own and with the upmost respect.

I love taking pictures and keeping my clients updated about how their fur babies are doing so there is a peace of mind while away or traveling. I also do nail trims, anal gland expressions, administer medications, ear cleaning and dog bathing if needed. I hope to meet with you soon, and learn all about your animals. I currently am looking to work with rover full time and some holidays as well. I am not working anywhere else at the moment so have a lot of free time. Although I am not a certified trainer, I happen to be very committed to become one and I think taking care of your best friend will help me get there.

I’d trust Calla again in a heartbeat—highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Brenda was very patient with my 2 cats, who had never been left alone before. She took care of everything and I was very happy with the service she provided. Will definitely book again if needed.”

“Jessica was once again great with my senior cats - I was so incredibly stressed about leaving them with all of their current medical issues/medications, but her communication/updates to me in addition to her overall attentiveness to their well-being made it possible to actually relax about it. She went above and beyond and for that I am very grateful - the boys and I thank you, Jessica!”

About: I've loved dogs since I was a kid growing up with huskies! I would always handle their grooming, walking, and medications. In adulthood I found my passion for rescue dogs and have rescued/fostered pitbulls and mastiffs for the last 8 years! I have a heart for gentle giants but love snuggling and taking care of my parent's little poodle mixes as well. I also have a lot of experience handling senior and ill dogs, and give that level of care and patience to all dogs that I work with. I handle our two dog's enrichment all day and love having visitors. I'm currently working from home so can be their all day for your pet's needs. I understand that pet routines are key to creating happy healthy pets and will do what ever I can to accommodate your needs! We also have doggie doors to allow your pet access to potty breaks whenever they need! I have a fenced yard and two friendly pups to keep your pup company! I also have a great neighborhood for walking your fur baby in, low traffic and tons of plants for them to smell. Dogs are more than welcome to cuddle up on the couch or our dog beds. I have comfy crates available as well if that's your dog's jam.
“Mark has been wonderful to work with. Our dog, Mello, has some anxiety around new environments, so we arranged a test daycare day before the official boarding dates. Mark has been incredibly patient and thoughtful in helping Mello get comfortable. We really appreciate how willing he is to work with us and plan a few more test daycare and boarding days ahead of the actual stay. It’s clear he truly cares about making sure the dogs in his care feel safe and supported. Based on this experience, we’re very confident Mello will have a great time during his upcoming stays.”

“Had a last minute trip and Melanie was able to accommodate us. She was very informative, sent pictures and let us know how she was doing. I would love to use Melanie again when we are in town.”

“Jessica has been absolutely amazing! As a travel healthcare worker starting at a new facility in San Diego, my schedule has been changing constantly, and she has been incredibly flexible, accommodating, and easy to work with. It has taken so much stress off my plate knowing Broly is in such great hands. This morning I completely forgot his bag with his food and leash, and without hesitation she offered to pick up the mobile order I placed so he had everything he needed. She was an absolute lifesaver! It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and I always feel confident leaving Broly with her. I can’t recommend her enough, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets as if they were my own. I have over 7 years of hands-on experience with both big and small dogs, including owning an Old English Sheepdog whom I regularly took on long walks, beach trips, and hikes. I’m comfortable with energetic pups who need exercise as well as senior dogs who require patience and gentle care. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and safety, and I genuinely love building trust with every pet I care for. My goal is always to make your dog feel happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. This allows me to comfortably care for both high-energy dogs who need exercise and more relaxed or senior pets who need a slower pace.

About: Full time pet care professional - your pets are my priority! I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love, and I can’t wait to meet yours! Every pet is unique, with their own personality, and I am excited to take care of them and earn their trust to become a reliable sitter that they enjoy seeing. Fast paced and playful or laid-back and lounging, conforming to your pets lifestyle is important to me - I also send updates at least once a day, as well as pictures, so you don’t miss your babies too much! About Me: As a full time sitter, I get lots of 1 on 1 time with my furry guests! I love having a head to pet or ball to throw throughout the day, and spend a majority of my time at home with my ever-growing, extended fur-family. I have extensive experience with fear-free basic training, including walk fundamentals, as well as trust building training and practices. I am also well versed in administering medications (liquid, pill, and subcutaneous) to pets with special needs and health conditions, including senior dogs (I love a frosted face!) I have a darling, 15 year old, Chinese Crested named Kovu who spends her golden years napping and welcoming her furry friends with a sniff and a shake. Having two special needs dogs in recent years, I know how hard it is to leave your little loves behind. I am also independently insured as a pet sitter, daycare provider, pet trainer, and pet taxi through Pet Care Insurance (PCI). About My Home: My home features a large, fenced-in yard on a quiet street with tons of space for pups to run around and play. When the weather allows, they’re given free rein of the inside and outside of my home. The maximum time a dog is ever alone in my home is 2 hours (when I need to grocery shop or go to an appointment), but there is always a dog-loving adult family member home in case of an unexpected emergency. I am not a sitter who boards as many pets as possible, as that is too stressful on the dogs and is not the kind of care I would want my baby to receive. I only allow up to 2 pet families to book on any day, and my rates reflect the individual attention, love, and calm environment that your pups receive in my care. I like to have a hands-on approach when pet sitting, and anything we can do together, we do together! Pups love coming over to my home because they know they’re in for a fun time!
“I have a 155lb Great Dane and I am very weary of letting just anyone walk him because of his size and strength. Caity might not be big, but she’s mighty! The first walk I got cute pictures and updates, and when she showed up for the second walk it was like I no longer existed and it was the Oceyn and Caity show! That made me feel good that he has a good time with her. I’m pregnant and on bed rest so I can’t walk him myself… but even when I can walk him again I still plan to keep Caity around 😊”

“Aria has watched and cared for Sierra prior to me joining rover. She has done a great job communicating with me and taking care of Sierra. This included overnights and giving her a pill each day. She has a dog of her own named Millie who gets along with Sierra.”

“He is great with Kira and always prompt. He keeps in contact while on their walk and is very accommodating. Kira us happier with her daily walks and gets really excited when we mention zane.”

About: I recently graduated from New Mexico State University and moved to San Diego. I have been a pet sitter/walker for about 5 years for friends and friends of friends in my community, as well as taking care of my own for 15 years. I have one sweet chihuahua and a torti cat! I have experience walking different dogs as I volunteered for dog walking for Petsmart and Petco when they have adoptions. I am responsible, kind-hearted, and compassionate for animals. While in my care, I will always ensure the safety of your pets as if they were my own. This is currently my only job so I am able to be with your pets as often or as long as needed! I know some pets may require more attention than others and can work with their schedule. I will treat your pet just like I do mine. Plenty of attention, make sure they have food, plenty of water, and any other special things they like during the day

“Whitney is a true pet lover. She is very thoughtful, communicative, and caring. Our dogs and I look forward to many future visits with her. Many thanks from everyone in our family, Whitney!”

About: Greetings, and welcome! I’m Eucalyptus your Fur Baby Godmother. Animals have been the greatest joy of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for pets of all kinds, and for the past 8 years I’ve had the privilege of providing professional pet care for families who trust me with their beloved companions. My experience includes dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, rabbits, ferrets, farm animals, aquatic pets, and many other exotic species. I’ve also cared for senior pets, puppies and kittens, pets with special needs, and animals that require extra patience, medication, or individualized attention. What makes me different is the connection I build with each animal. Every pet has their own personality, routine, and way of communicating. I take the time to earn their trust, making sure they feel safe, understood, and genuinely loved while you’re away. Whether your companion is energetic, shy, anxious, or simply enjoys quiet company, I tailor my care to what makes them happiest. Over the years I’ve helped reinforce good manners, redirect unwanted behaviors through positive interactions, and create calm, enriching experiences that help pets feel comfortable in their own environment. Pet care isn’t just something I do it’s my full-time passion. When your furry, feathered, or scaly family member is with me, they’re treated like one of my own. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your best friend is receiving dependable, compassionate, one-on-one care. I offer pet sitting, house sitting, drop-in visits, walks, and extended stays, making me a great fit for vacations, business trips, weekend getaways, or whenever your pet simply deserves a loving companion. I can’t wait to meet you and your wonderful animal family. Until then, may your pets be happy, your travels be worry-free, and a little Fur Baby Godmother magic follow you wherever you go. My schedule is pretty open because caring for pets is what I genuinely enjoy doing. I tend to have a little more flexibility than the average person, so I’m usually able to work around different routines whether that means an early-morning drop-in, a spontaneous trip, a last-minute change of plans, or a cozy little sleepover. I like having the time to actually be there with the pets I care for. Not just stopping by, checking a box, and rushing off. I enjoy the little things getting to know their personalities, following their routines, giving them attention, and letting them feel like they have a little vacation of their own while their humans are away. So if your fur baby needs someone with a flexible schedule, a calm presence, and plenty of time for cuddles, playtime, or simply keeping them company… you may have found your person. I’ve always felt like animals have their own little language, and I genuinely enjoy learning their way of communicating. When a pet comes into my care, I like to meet them where they are. Some babies need structure and routine, some need a little extra patience, and others simply want someone to sit beside them while they decide you’re their new best friend. I follow the routines and care instructions their humans have created for them whether that means crate time, potty training, medication routines, playtime, socializing, quiet time, or plenty of cuddles. Their comfort and safety always come first. I’m also someone who naturally spends a lot of time outdoors, so I love having little adventures with my animal companions walks, fresh air, exploring, sunbathing, or just sitting outside together and watching the world go by. And my definition of a “pet” has never been limited to cats and dogs. I’ve cared for animals of all different personalities, sizes, ages, and species, including exotic pets. I find their little quirks fascinating and enjoy giving each animal the kind of care that makes sense for them. If your baby happens to enjoy a bubble bath, treats, an afternoon adventure, or an unreasonable amount of affection… well, they may have just found their favorite babysitter. I’ve jokingly been called the female version of Dr. Dolittle. I’ll take it. Really, I think animals simply know when someone genuinely enjoys being around them. And I’m very happy to be living in their world. Overnight stays are always welcome, too.

“Samantha watched our Lab Shepherd mix, and our dog was in absolute heaven! She has a lot of anxiety, but Samantha did an amazing job following her routine and making sure she felt safe, comfortable, and loved.

“Mark is an absolutely the best. He is so accommodating, easy to communicate with and goes above and beyond anything I couldn’t have hoped for.
