Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. As a college student, I only have a few short in-person classes (no more than 2.5 hours a day, 4 days a week), and the rest of my coursework is online. This gives me plenty of flexibility and open time to devote to caring for pets, whether that means walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I’m able to adjust my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m looking after.

It’s also helpful to know if your pet has any quirks—like being shy around new people, nervous with loud noises, or reactive around other animals—so I can make sure they feel safe and comfortable. If you're working on training or reinforcing certain behaviors, just let me know so I can stay consistent. Lastly, let me know if you do not want your pup posted on Instagram. 📸
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged! With dogs, that can mean walks, playtime with their favorite toys, games like fetch or tug-of-war, and plenty of cuddle time if they enjoy it. For puppies, I add in short training games to help with focus and learning. With cats, I keep things fun with interactive toys, feather wands, or just quiet companionship if that’s what they prefer. I always adjust activities to match each pet’s age, energy level, and personality so they feel comfortable and cared for.

Pet care experience
I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from 8-week-old puppies to senior dogs, including sick fosters needing extra attention. I had an unusual situation where I needed care for my dog on very short notice and the timing was subject to change. Stella was able to accommodate me. As a bonus, my dog really seemed to like her, and you can tell that Stella really does like dogs.

Stella went above and beyond when caring for our pups. We were very nervous about leaving our dogs for an extended period but Stella eliminated all worries immediately and exceeded expectations. It is obvious that Stella genuinely cares for and loves animals, from the way she talks about her own dog to the way she consistently showed up for our dogs. In addition to the day to day routine, Stella took our dogs to the beach, bathed them, and left the house in immaculate condition. She is a fabulous communicator, sending photos and updates daily as well as letting us know if she had any questions or concerns which we really appreciated. Coming home to a clean house and happy pups is a great feeling! I would recommend Stella to all and look forward to booking with her in the future (I know my dogs do too)!
Stella is awesome! She is responsible, sweet, and patient with Arlo. She arrives on time and with a positive attitude. I love that Stella takes lots of great pictures - Arlo looks like he had a blast on their walks. So glad we found her!
