I work from home so with them all day and close to a park for plenty of walks and outside time. I also have a dog who loves having guests and friends visit! About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and grew up in a home where they were truly part of the family. Over the years, friends and family have trusted me to care for their furry loved ones while they’re away, and I take that responsibility seriously. I also have a dog of my own, Lev, a 6-year-old male who has taught me a lot about patience, communication, and positive reinforcement training. Because Lev can be leash reactive, I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and handling walks calmly and safely. Through consistent positive reinforcement, we’ve built successful and enjoyable walks together. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I always aim to create a safe, positive, and fun experience for every pup in my care. I currently WFH full-time! Afternoon/evenings between 3-7pm on weekdays are ideal times for walks and visits. Weekends would vary, but I have pretty open availability in general! My own pup gets at least three walks a day—a long walk first thing in the morning and another before bed, plus a midday walk for some relief and fresh air. We often go on other adventures, including the beach and the dog park, but this our typical schedule. Because of this routine, I’m very accustomed to walking during high dog-traffic times and always prioritize safe, attentive handling. I stay aware of our surroundings, read dog body language, and use positive reinforcement to keep walks calm, structured, and enjoyable for every pup.

About: I had my 16 year old dog Dakota since she was a puppy until she passed away earlier this year and I've fostered multiple senior dogs over the last couple of years for Frosted Faces. I live in a one bedroom apartment, there is no fenced in yard but the door always remains closed. I wouldn't take any dogs out without their collar and leash on. There is a set of stairs to get up to my apartment (~12 steps), I can carry dogs up and down if needed. The apartment itself is one level and I have doggy stairs to get on the couch as well as a gate to keep them in a carpeted area if they need that for balance or anything.

He and other dogs I've watched had aggression issues so I know how to stay out of trouble. I'm strong enough to handle multiple medium-to-large dogs at a time and fit enough to take them on long walks or runs. I helped out my mom a lot last year with our second family dog Yogi who struggled with incontinence, mobility, and pain. I still miss him but realized after watching my friend's elderly dogs that I'm ready to connect with some more great animals! I work full-time but I'm remote and not overworked so I have flexibility in terms of schedule. I'm generally available to do walks/check-ins around noon or in the evening and can also have animals stay with me in my apartment during the day or overnight. I have an apartment on the second floor of a small complex and there is no elevator so I likely cannot accommodate larger dogs with mobility issues. My complex and apartment are pretty quiet and theres is a park with two dog runs only two blocks away. On weekdays I only leave the apartment for about two hours so I can keep a close eye on any dogs that need extra supervision. I'm very respectful of other people's homes and know that many animals will need time to warm up to me. I try to give animals as much space as they need but also keep an eye out for when they're in need of some stimulation.

“Due to an injury, living upstairs I’m not supposed to do much of and having to use a cane for awhile, I desperately needed help asap walking my big girl. We are active and usually walk at least two miles twice a day. I came across Daniel’s profile, nervous as I’ve never had anyone but myself walk my sometimes very hard headed strong Cane Corso. I really appreciated that his profile noted that he’s comfortable with bigger breeds and has one of his own. About: I enjoy pups of all breeds and sizes and promise to treat your family member with love and respect. I’ve trained as an advanced dog walker with a shelter in Washington state as well as taken professional training with my own dogs, a large German shepherd and active husky. I WFH full time with some flexibility to my schedule, and I am hopping on here in the hopes that I can help some of you who have to travel daily to work, letting your dogs out mid day if you cannot personally be home, or drop in while on vacation to check in on your guys and gals. I WFH full time with a somewhat flexible schedule so if you are in the Normal Heights/North Park area I can work with you to meet your dog or cats daily needs I can provide your pet with whatever treats they like for their adventures and get them all suited up with collars/leashes/harnesses you usually utilize for walks. We have strict feeding schedules at home as well as medications that we have to dispense daily, so this is something I can also provide if necessary, just let me know what you need!
About: My wife and I have lived in Normal Heights for over 30 years, are empty nesters, and had dogs and cats during this period. We think they are like a chosen family member. I've always been around pets since I was a kid and raised puppies or kittens as well as taken care of pets into their senior ages. We currently don’t have any furry buddies at home and given my flexible work schedule, I want to spend time being around them in 2026. I’m intrigued by their behavior and enjoy caring for them. I pride myself on understanding their unique personality, needs, and boundaries. I really enjoy engaging with them with play sessions, providing just the right amount of affection, or ensuring their food, water, and litter are meticulously maintained. A priority is making them feel happy, safe, and comfortable. Your pet’s well-being is my focus and I’m here to give them the exceptional care they deserve. I have a flexible schedule during the week and weekends. I work from home and will be keeping an eye on your dog(s) or cat(s). We have a fenced yard and back patio that is very pet friendly. It can be a fun playground for your dog(s) to explore and have fun barking at the squirrels or birds.

About: I’ve had a dog in my home since I was 3. I’ve taken care of pups at all ages and all stages, I will love yours like I love mine. I believe they all deserve the best in life! I work from home so with them all day and close to a park for plenty of walks and outside time. I also have a dog who loves having guests and friends visit! I have a fairly spacious apartment and allow dogs to be on furniture and sleep with me and my pup. If you prefer crate I can accolade that as well!
