About: I am an uncle to many cats and dogs over the years. I have lived with pets all my life. Most recently, 2 years with a Shih Tzu, Sola, and have cared for her throughout our time together. I have watched over my friend’s pets for weeks on end and enjoy the time we spend together. I love seeing the bond between people and their furry friends! I have helped raised a surprise litter of puppies, trained them, and helped them find good homes! We still keep in contact with their new loving families! I am currently working from home on a part time schedule, so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. I can accommodate to most schedules and carry my work with me. Sola has two small homes she uses as her safety zone. A crate is for when she is feeling stressed and a fuzzy home for when she wants privacy. We have an understanding to not cross her boundaries and when she enters those spaces, we give her the privacy she requests. Understanding animals boundaries is important to me, for my safety, their wellbeing, and to maintain trust, especially if I’m a stranger to them.

About: I have been surrounded by cats my entire life. There has never been a significant period of time in my life when I didn't have at least one cat! I am always the go-to cat sitter for family and absolutely love doing so. In high school, I volunteered at the Humane Society with both the resident dogs and cats. I then worked in a vet clinic as a kennel assistant, taking care of boarding pets, many of which were cats. I was responsible for all aspects of their care during their stay, including medication administration and bathing (which was often an interesting experience)! One my my current cats, Mia, was abandoned by her mother near our house at 3 weeks old. I had to bottle feed her then, and she is now a healthy, happy (with a touch of "good crazy") six year old. My other cat, Alex, is another rescue with a completely opposite personality, as she is extremely shy (but also very loving). That being said, I have experience with all types of temperaments, ages, and medical needs. I have even had to administer injections to a senior diabetic cat that my mom used to have. I present a calm, non-invasive presence that usually allows me to establish a quick rapport with most cats. I am now a retired teacher, and would love to spend this part of my life helping pet owners rest assured that their beloved furry family members are in safe and loving care!

“I’m so grateful to have found Evelyn! I tend not to go out of town because my three kitties usually get nervous about my absence (I wfh). I have always just had a neighbor pop by twice per day and call it good. Last time I was away for a few days, I came home and the cat dynamic in the house had changed for the worse. I feared I couldn’t ever go out of town or leave for longer than a few hours without causing them harm. I wanted to take my daughter on an end-of-summer adventure vacation, and set to find a solution that would be good for everyone. I could tell she truly cared about animals and I found trust came very easily with her. While on our trip, I received pics and notes about what the kitties were up to and knew that they were being fed and played with and cared for. They looked like they were just going about their normal day and getting as much pets as they wanted! One of the babies looked to have taken very well to Evelyn. :) I felt so much better about being away from home, and enjoyed my vacation sooooo much more, knowing such a caring and thoughtful person was looking after them. I felt comfortable with her staying in my home and had a good feeling that she was respecting our home space. I came home to a tidy and easy-feeling vibe in the house. My complex also offers dog-walking trails and a gated dog park to play around in. About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. We currently have two rescue beagles and 5 rescued cats. I do not currently work and can be home with your animals unless running short errands, and once someone enters our home they are family and will be treated like the spoiled royalty they are. I'm happy to send updates and pictures throughout their stay as well. I do not currently work, so I have all the time in the world for your furry friend. The animals rule our house and are allowed on all furniture/beds so they will be very comfortable. I do walks in the early morning with my dogs, but could also do day time/evening walks if your pets need. We have a fenced in dog-run with 24/7 access through a 1-flap dog door. They can go in and out as they please, but the fences are only 3ft high in the dog run, so jumpers/runners might not be the best fit. We feed our dogs twice a day and cannot free-feed animals.

We are here to provide a cherished home away from home for your beloved dog(s)! We have extensive backgrounds in animal training, wildlife welfare, and simply creating a loving environment for all animals. We will provide daily updates and photos; you can rest peacefully knowing your pet is safe and comfortable in our home. We have a sweet friendly, welcoming dog that would love to befriend your furry companion(s)! Please choose us for your boarding needs, we won't let you down, thank you! We are available 7 days a week to house your pet. If we have to step out of our home for any reason, the dogs under our care will have access to a beautiful spacious outdoor area, as well as indoor safety. If you prefer your dog(s) and our dog to be separated while unsupervised, we can happily accommodate this as well. Along with having a large wrap-around yard to play in, we will also take your pet on several daily walks, and even outdoor adventures if preferred! If your pet is staying in our home, we want not only you, but also you pet to feel safe and comfortable as well! And because of this, we only house one household at a time in our home. We have a sizable fenced in yard, and a friendly dog to keep your pet company. We can crate your dog if requested, we can leave them indoors, outdoors, or with access to both depending on your preference. Because I love the outdoors, I am more than happy to walk in all weather conditions! I am very comfortable with larger breeds and pups that have a lot of puppy energy to burn off. I am new to the Rover platform, but I have years of experience of providing private pet care and dog walking for friends and family! Safety is always my top priority when I am out with your pet. When we go for a walk, your dog will have my full, undivided attention! I always follow your specific leash rules, safety commands, and route preferences to ensure a smooth, worry-free trip! I have a flexible schedule and would love to build a regular routine with your pup! I am an early riser and a morning person, so earlier in the day is great for me! I am strong and athletic so I can care for dogs of all sizes. I like to communicate with my clients on their dogs current state of training so I can help to continue that, how they interact with other dogs, leash training, can they go in the car if they like to hike, and what their dogs enjoy the most- whether it be a dog park, a hike, or just a walk through the neighborhood! I give my undivided attention so I am not wearing headphones or using my phone.

I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Whether your dog is full of energy or just wants some company, I adapt to their needs to make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to easily accommodate dog walking, drop-ins, or extended stays throughout the day. Since I already care for my own dog, pet care is a natural part of my daily routine: walks, playtime, and attention are built into my day! When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where dogs feel relaxed and happy. I provide plenty of playtime, regular walks, and lots of cuddles, making sure each dog’s needs and routines are followed closely. About: I've been around animals for many years and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and safe. I'm happy to follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications if instructed, go on walks, play with energetic pets, or simply provide companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have very flexible schedule as well so if I’m needed, I can always stop by in addition to the already scheduled times. I try to be around as much as I can. For walks, I usually walk them earlier in the morning before it gets too hot for them.

About: I am new to Rover but not new to taking care of pets. I have a 2 year old dog who is my whole world. He is super friendly and LOVES being around other dogs. We go for long walks every day and want your pup to join us! I am the go-to pet sitter for all of my friend's pets so I figured to make it official and sign up for Rover. I have a backyard with grass so it easy to have dogs at my place. I had a cat for 12 years who was diabetic so I know a lot about care for cats and the best ways to give them love. I am available full-time to take care of your pets. I can check in on them or walk them whenever is best for your schedule. I love going for walks and play fetch with doggies. I have a fenced backyard with grass for them to play and can pick them up and drop them off to make it easier on you if you are traveling.

About: Welcome To the Barbells Barkyard, where we have something for everyone! Whether your dog is crazy energetic or laid back and wants to snooooze, we are for you! we play often in the backyard but my 9 yr old also created a little oasis in his room for the dogs who prefer less space. we always make sure their comfort comes first! We have cared for animals our entire lives and have always known wanted to work with animals in some capacity so when we discovered rover, this became the perfect path for both my wife and i! We are both AVID animal lovers and treat each furbaby like family! we are both home full time and will seldomly leave them alone/if at all. We both know CPR and basic first aid for animals. A typical day will include lots of play time both inside and outside, enrichment activities (such as a ball pit, sniff spots, etc), water play time (if they feel so inclined :) ). we also provide treats- all 1 ingredient, healthy options so we do not upset their tummies, lots of bed options, allow them on the couches if you are okay with that, and all the toys they can dream of. we clean and sanitize the entire house daily and we ask for each client to be on flea meds to prevent any unwanted friends :) Our primary goal is to help the people of our community be able to have BOTH great loving top dollar care that you are confident in AND is affordable. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and make sure to send lots of pictures and videos throughout the stay. I offer walks, drop-ins, and in-home care. I follow routines closely and keep owners updated with messages, pictures, and notes throughout the stay. Whether your pet wants snuggles on the couch or adventures outdoors, I’m happy to make their time enjoyable. In my home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable and part of the family. I follow their normal feeding and potty routines, provide regular walks/playtime, and make sure they have safe spaces to rest. I offer lots of supervision and affection, and I send photo updates throughout the day. Pets are treated with patience and respect, and their comfort always comes first. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and getting to know each dog's unique personality is one of my favorite parts of what I do. Over the past 5+ years, I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities from high energy pups who love to play to anxious or reactive dogs who just need a little extra patience and understanding. My own dog, Xochitl, has taught me so much about reading body language, building trust, and creating positive experiences for every dog I care for. She's playful, friendly, and loves making new friends, which has been a wonderful bonus for many of the dogs who stay with us. I'm experienced caring for puppies, reactive dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with medical needs, including administering oral medications, eye drops, following special diets, and sticking to detailed routines. There are multiple designated areas nearby for dogs to use the bathroom, as well as several dog parks within a 10 min walking distance for dogs who enjoy extra exercise and social time. All outings are based on the owner’s preferences and the dog’s comfort level. Dogs in my care are always supervised, follow their regular routines, and receive attentive, structured care. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their established routines so pets feel comfortable and secure!
About: I have cared for personal dogs and cats my entire life whether that be for a few days or just a few hours, I have also been relied on to care for friends and family members beloved animals. I have a completely open schedule this summer and am willing to give close attention to the needs of any animal I may care for. Giving my outright attention the entire time I am caring for them. I personally would not bring clients dogs into my own home because I have my own two dogs and a cat, so would just want to avoid any issues between them. However, I will gladly care for the animals in the clients home with attentiveness and care. I have experience with puppies all the way down to four months old and elderly dogs who may need medication, extra care and a close watch.
