“May was great! My dog loved her instantly when doing the meeting session. She was wiggling and trying to rub up against her. It was my first time leaving my dog with someone. We've had her for a little over a year, but her previous owners abandoned her during their vacation. Luckily, she seemed to be just fine because she was with May. She sent us updates and didn't hesitate to send a picture or video if I asked how she was doing. They went on little adventures together. She went to the pumpkin patch and then had a Hawaiian day later on. It was great not having to worry about if she was okay. The only thing I had to worry about was if Tuesday would want to come home when we went to pick her up. It was nice feeling like my partner and I were having our own vacation as a couple, and Tuesday got her own vacation with May. The location is perfect for us. There are a ton of good walking areas that are pretty safe around where she lives. Her house is very clean and dog friendly as well. I didn't have to worry that she might get into something. She works from home which really helped since it was our first time leaving her. I'm happy to know that if we need a dog sitter, we will know where to go next time! We couldn't be happier with the whole experience. PS: her dog is out of town right now, but I think it comes back soon. She is just moving back from out of state. I was concernedTuesday would be lonely at first, but once I saw all the activities and photos; Tuesday didn't seem to mind. I am looking forward to them being able to play next time. :)”

Most recently, 2 years with a Shih Tzu, Sola, and have cared for her throughout our time together. I have watched over my friend’s pets for weeks on end and enjoy the time we spend together. I love seeing the bond between people and their furry friends! I have helped raised a surprise litter of puppies, trained them, and helped them find good homes! We still keep in contact with their new loving families! I am currently working from home on a part time schedule, so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. I can accommodate to most schedules and carry my work with me. Sola has two small homes she uses as her safety zone. A crate is for when she is feeling stressed and a fuzzy home for when she wants privacy. We have an understanding to not cross her boundaries and when she enters those spaces, we give her the privacy she requests. Understanding animals boundaries is important to me, for my safety, their wellbeing, and to maintain trust, especially if I’m a stranger to them.

Lucy is a gentle, loving girl and an exceptional hostess. Depending on the cues given by her visiting dog friends, she will play with them, cuddle them, or give them their space. Lucy is the best companion for any dog missing its owner. Both my partner and I work from home during the week so someone is always available for potty breaks or belly rubs. Dogs are not left unattended for more than a few hours at a time. We have a single family home with a fully fenced yard. We have enough space to crate your dog or put them in a separate room if needed. We do have a dog of our own and two cats. The cats don’t mind dog visitors and stay away when friends are over. Dogs are allowed on furniture and in the bed.

I like to be playful and goofy with dogs (I talk to them like people), but I also know it's my job to make sure they feel safe and know what to expect. I will follow your established routine and rules, and can also help reinforce good behaviors. What you and your fur baby can expect: - Reliability. My schedule is flexible and mostly open on weekdays, so I can do midday walks, last-minute drop-ins, and stays of any length, including single nights. If plans change, I tell you right away. - Clear communication. You'll get a photo and a quick note after every visit so you always know how your dog is doing. - Walks that are more than a potty break. I like getting outside and exploring new routes and spots, and I keep control of the walk so it stays safe. - Experience beyond walks. I've cared for dogs overnight, including week-long stays. I'm comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, and every age in between. I'd love to do a meet-and-greet with you and your dog, so we can get comfortable before the first visit. Send me a message with your dog's name, age, and any quirks, and we can set it up! My schedule is flexible and mostly open on weekdays, so I can do midday walks and last-minute drop-ins. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for most my life. I've had up to three dogs of my own at a time. Had to say goodbye to two of them last year. I have a one year sweet pup named Lucy that has been great around all dogs big and small. I work full time from home so I am more than happy to have your dog for the day while you're at work, or for the night if you're away. I can stop in to let your dog out throughout the day if needed. I do have 2 cats in the house so would need dogs that are cat friendly or ignore them. Look forward to meeting your pup! Whether your dog is crazy energetic or laid back and wants to snooooze, we are for you! we play often in the backyard but my 9 yr old also created a little oasis in his room for the dogs who prefer less space. we always make sure their comfort comes first! We have cared for animals our entire lives and have always known wanted to work with animals in some capacity so when we discovered rover, this became the perfect path for both my wife and i! We are both AVID animal lovers and treat each furbaby like family! we are both home full time and will seldomly leave them alone/if at all. We both know CPR and basic first aid for animals. A typical day will include lots of play time both inside and outside, enrichment activities (such as a ball pit, sniff spots, etc), water play time (if they feel so inclined :) ). we also provide treats- all 1 ingredient, healthy options so we do not upset their tummies, lots of bed options, allow them on the couches if you are okay with that, and all the toys they can dream of. we clean and sanitize the entire house daily and we ask for each client to be on flea meds to prevent any unwanted friends :) Our primary goal is to help the people of our community be able to have BOTH great loving top dollar care that you are confident in AND is affordable. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and make sure to send lots of pictures and videos throughout the stay. I offer walks, drop-ins, and in-home care. I follow routines closely and keep owners updated with messages, pictures, and notes throughout the stay. About: I have cared for personal dogs and cats my entire life whether that be for a few days or just a few hours, I have also been relied on to care for friends and family members beloved animals. I have a completely open schedule this summer and am willing to give close attention to the needs of any animal I may care for. Giving my outright attention the entire time I am caring for them. I personally would not bring clients dogs into my own home because I have my own two dogs and a cat, so would just want to avoid any issues between them. However, I will gladly care for the animals in the clients home with attentiveness and care. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their established routines so pets feel comfortable and secure!
