About: Hey there, I’ve been taking care of dogs for 10 years now, and will definitely make sure they have all the attention they need! I’ve been around dogs all my life and know how to deal with dogs of all different sizes and ages as well. I’ve fostered 14 dogs before so I know exactly how to make sure they are having a wonderful time and are safe the whole time! I work from home and have a pretty relaxed schedule so I can take them out to the park/walks/jogs/car rides/ bathroom breaks multiple times a day depending on how much activity you would like your dog/dogs to get! My main goal is to make your dog/dogs as comfortable so they won’t even know their real mom or dad is not there. I have a ready to go kit for any small emergencies equipped with all the sprays bandages/or any small medical devices I would need. I have my primary vet on speed dial as well if any emergency should happen in which you will be immediately notified and kept up to date. I strive to make sure you and your pets are 110% comfortable with me and the environment they are in so they can feel safe at all times!

About: I adopted my senior chihuahua at 10yrs old and have a special place in my heart for seniors. I can give medication and extra care for those dogs that require extra attention. I recently lost my dog and would love to care for other dogs. I work from home with a flexible schedule and usually done with work in the early afternoon. About: I have a dog of my own. I treat them as if they are my kids. My dog is fed twice a day and given treats for tricks. I am home 4 days a week. The other days I work 12 hour shifts My dog is getting older: she is almost 12. I have fostered puppies all the way to senior dogs, and even the seniors tried to keep up with mine during play time. Pets are allowed on my furniture, so no issues here if they do. I'm used to administering meds to pups as my dog that passed away required daily medication. I have a large fenced in yard, with plenty of room to run and play. If you have any questions you would like answered, just let me know. I work full time as a nurse so I work 12 hour shifts. I usually won’t book on days I’m working as some dogs aren’t used to that schedule. If yours are, message me and we can work something out. My dogs are dog friendly, but getting older so they don’t want to play too much. I have a fenced in back yard. If your dog is kenneled during the day I have an extra kennel. About: I have been surrounded by cats my entire life. There has never been a significant period of time in my life when I didn't have at least one cat! I am always the go-to cat sitter for family and absolutely love doing so. In high school, I volunteered at the Humane Society with both the resident dogs and cats. I then worked in a vet clinic as a kennel assistant, taking care of boarding pets, many of which were cats. I was responsible for all aspects of their care during their stay, including medication administration and bathing (which was often an interesting experience)! One my my current cats, Mia, was abandoned by her mother near our house at 3 weeks old. I had to bottle feed her then, and she is now a healthy, happy (with a touch of "good crazy") six year old. My other cat, Alex, is another rescue with a completely opposite personality, as she is extremely shy (but also very loving). That being said, I have experience with all types of temperaments, ages, and medical needs. I have even had to administer injections to a senior diabetic cat that my mom used to have. I present a calm, non-invasive presence that usually allows me to establish a quick rapport with most cats. I am now a retired teacher, and would love to spend this part of my life helping pet owners rest assured that their beloved furry family members are in safe and loving care!

About: Welcome To the Barbells Barkyard, where we have something for everyone! Whether your dog is crazy energetic or laid back and wants to snooooze, we are for you! we play often in the backyard but my 9 yr old also created a little oasis in his room for the dogs who prefer less space. we always make sure their comfort comes first! We have cared for animals our entire lives and have always known wanted to work with animals in some capacity so when we discovered rover, this became the perfect path for both my wife and i! We are both AVID animal lovers and treat each furbaby like family! we are both home full time and will seldomly leave them alone/if at all. We both know CPR and basic first aid for animals. A typical day will include lots of play time both inside and outside, enrichment activities (such as a ball pit, sniff spots, etc), water play time (if they feel so inclined :) ). we also provide treats- all 1 ingredient, healthy options so we do not upset their tummies, lots of bed options, allow them on the couches if you are okay with that, and all the toys they can dream of. we clean and sanitize the entire house daily and we ask for each client to be on flea meds to prevent any unwanted friends :) Our primary goal is to help the people of our community be able to have BOTH great loving top dollar care that you are confident in AND is affordable. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and make sure to send lots of pictures and videos throughout the stay. I offer walks, drop-ins, and in-home care. I follow routines closely and keep owners updated with messages, pictures, and notes throughout the stay. Whether your pet wants snuggles on the couch or adventures outdoors, I’m happy to make their time enjoyable. In my home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable and part of the family. I follow their normal feeding and potty routines, provide regular walks/playtime, and make sure they have safe spaces to rest. I offer lots of supervision and affection, and I send photo updates throughout the day. Pets are treated with patience and respect, and their comfort always comes first. I provide feeding and fresh water on schedule, clean litter boxes or cages as needed, and give plenty of attention and playtime tailored to each animal’s personality. I also monitor their behavior, energy levels, and health, noting any changes in appetite, mood, or habits. For pets that require medication, I administer it according to instructions and keep the owner updated. I treat each home and pet with respect, making sure the space stays clean and secure, and I provide regular photo and video updates so owners can feel confident and reassured while they’re away.
About: I have had dogs and cats all my life, so I am very comfortable with pets of all ages! I am happy to take care of any of their needs, from administering oral medications to giving lots of love and attention. I am a doctoral student at San Diego State University. I am currently on clinical rotations, so my schedule is open on Sunday-Tuesday for all-day care or in the evenings on Wednesday-Saturday. I cannot care for animals in my own home since I live with other roommates. If you have a smaller animal, like a cat, it may be able to be negotiated.

About: I have a dog of my own. I treat them as if they are my kids. My dog is fed twice a day and given treats for tricks. I am home 4 days a week. The other days I work 12 hour shifts My dog is getting older: she is almost 12. I have fostered puppies all the way to senior dogs, and even the seniors tried to keep up with mine during play time. Pets are allowed on my furniture, so no issues here if they do. I'm used to administering meds to pups as my dog that passed away required daily medication. I have a large fenced in yard, with plenty of room to run and play. If you have any questions you would like answered, just let me know. I work full time as a nurse so I work 12 hour shifts. I usually won’t book on days I’m working as some dogs aren’t used to that schedule. If yours are, message me and we can work something out. My dogs are dog friendly, but getting older so they don’t want to play too much. I have a fenced in back yard. If your dog is kenneled during the day I have an extra kennel. Dog are allowed on furniture.
About: I worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years, with all breeds and sizes. I’ve raised 3 dogs over the past 10 years, two small and one big. My job is very flexible where I have long lunches and shorter days. Checking in on your pet is a great way to spend my lunch! I have a friendly older dog. I can crate up when needed. I’m flexible and can work with the parents to make their pup feel welcome.
About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little. I understand animals' body language and am well-adverse to many unique pet personalities and behaviors. I have experience working with reactive dogs, hyper-activity, Deaf and blind animals (my dog is Deaf and knows sign language!), medication and illness with pets, and more. I'm also understanding of different needs or specific routines to be followed for pets to feel comfortable. Whether your pup needs a walk and the bearded dragon needs to be fed, or the cat needs a clean litter box and the fish tank needs a skim, I'm here for you and all your fur (or scale) babies! My schedule is flexible currently. I recently moved back home to San Diego and have plenty of availability. I do have two large dogs of my own as well as a cat and will need to take care of them as well if house-sitting. I am aware of animals' body language and their need for routine. I will respect this and their specific needs (hand-signals, cue words, walking preferences, etc.). I can co-exist from a distance or offer lots of snuggles and playtime depending on your pets preferences. I can provide baths and maintain training if you're working on house training or pulling while walking.

About: I’ve had a dog in my home since I was 3. I’ve taken care of pups at all ages and all stages, I will love yours like I love mine. I believe they all deserve the best in life! I work from home so with them all day and close to a park for plenty of walks and outside time. I also have a dog who loves having guests and friends visit! I have a fairly spacious apartment and allow dogs to be on furniture and sleep with me and my pup. If you prefer crate I can accolade that as well!
