“A.J. is legit the best . He’s very communicative and quick to respond to any messages. He gets along great with my dog , who can be a bit naughty at times during her walks. Would give him 10 stars if possible.”

“Mark is super nice, professional, mature and trustworthy. This was our first Rover experience so we were a bit skeptical about the type of person we were entrusting with our beloved Westie. Mark gladly agreed to meet with us which gave us a chance to get to know him. So far we have used him for about 8-10 walks and we are super pleased with him and with Rover.”

“Laura did an absolutely fantastic job with my foster dog. She took him for walks over lunch and spent a few extra minutes with him to ensure he was comfortable. She was communicative, sent pictures, gave thorough updates, and most importantly made sure he was safe. I will absolutely use Laura again in the future!”

“Haley walked our pet beagle Maya a few times over the last month. She’s very caring, punctual and reliable and we will not hesitate to use Haley again for pet walking services. Thx”

About: Hi! I’m a UCSD student who loves all pets. I have over a year of hands-on pet care and grooming experience, including puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets. Friends often joke that animals trust me instantly, I take that as the highest compliment! I have a Ragdoll cat whom I absolutely adore, and caring for her has deepened my understanding of feline behavior, patience, and gentle handling. I’m outgoing, reliable, and happiest when spending time with pets, making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. I’m happy to adjust my availability to fit your pet’s needs, whether it’s walks, playtime, or extended care. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication at all times. I follow pet parents’ instructions carefully, pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, and always make sure they’re in a safe and comfortable environment. I believe trust is built through patience, consistency, and genuine care.
About: I’m semi‑retired, have a senior chihuahua mix of my own, and bring experience with all kinds of pups — reactive, elderly, or youthfully energetic. Whether your dog needs a calm, patient presence or someone who can keep up with their zoomies, I’m your person. I'm available for dog walking 3 times a day Monday thru Friday as my work schedule is flexible. The weekends can be added as needed. When I walk my dog, my eyes are on him and the environment. I'm never on my cell or multi tasking. Safety of my pet and other animals is my #1 priority.
About: I have taken care of my friends dog and also have had pets my entire life (cats, rabbits, birds) and are family to me. I have fed my friend's dog while they were away and am aware of important items that are needed for dogs such as: treats, litter box, leash, medicine, toys, and carriers. I am patient and am good at picking up on dog body language. Picking up on these things such as tail wagging, rolling over and signs of stress has enabled me to beter serve the dog I was taking care of. I am currently working full time in the evenings from 3 pm to 11 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. I would love to use my available time to take care of dogs and cats of various breeds and ages. I care for my pets at home by creating a stimulating environment for them to play, rest and explore. I also make sure to proof my home so that pets are safe. I use engaging toys to play with my cat and feed him twice a day with snacks if needed.
About: I have over 7+ years of pet care experience. My background includes working in a compounding pharmacy specializing in pet medications, giving me valuable experience supporting pets with a variety of needs. I provide dependable, loving care and treat every pet like family. I am a college student so my availability during the week can be pretty flexible. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets in my care. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or sticking to a specific routine, I make sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve while their family is away. I care for every pet as if they were my own. In a client's home, I work to maintain their normal routine by following feeding schedules, providing exercise and playtime, administering medications if needed, and giving plenty of attention and affection. I understand that pets are most comfortable with consistency, so I do my best to keep their environment stress-free while you're away. I also don’t mind sending pictures updates to ease any worries while away from your loved ones.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I had two parakeets growing up, which taught me how important it is to stick to a routine and pay attention to small details. As I got older, I started helping out family and friends by taking care of their dogs and cats when they were out of town. I would feed them, take dogs on daily walks, and spend time with them so they didn’t feel alone. I’d say what sets me apart is that I’m really patient, attentive, and dependable. I take responsibility seriously, and I always try to make sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for while their owner is away. Im a first year college student at Cal Poly SLO so pet care fits into my daily schedule perfectly because at school my schedule is very flexible. I have two class a day Monday- Thursday. As well as that, when I am home for breaks in san diego, my schedule is completely free so I am able to care for pets any time. In a client’s home, I will care for pets by following their usual routines, feeding them on schedule, taking dogs on walks, providing companionship, and giving them plenty of attention to keep them happy and comfortable while their owners are away.

About: New to the pet-sitting world- although I’ve grown up taking care of dogs and cats growing up. I know how much pets look forward to a walk, and that they just love to lounge with their favorite person. When working at Petsmart, I learned that every single dog & cat is different, including dietary needs, activity levels, shyness, and health. I respect any and all animals. In fact, I go bird watching often! Looking forward to helping take care of your pet family member :) I have a flexible yet varying weekly schedule. If you need a pet sitter last-minute, I am the one to message. I can walk, spend quality time, clean litter boxes and feeder bowls. Any other request are welcome as well. Can also feed your other pets such as reptiles if requested. I allow my pets to lounge in between walks throughout the day. I stick to scheduled feedings. I love quality time including toys and walks.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rancho Penasquitos
Laura once again is wonderful! She consistently comes at the same time each day to take my foster dog out for a walk during lunch. Laura monitors what each dog’s abilities are and then adjusts the walk as needed, e.g., slowing down when my senior dog needs a bit of a break and hanging out in a grassy area. She is incredibly reliable, communicative, and truly enjoys her time with the dogs.

Bella has been walking and checking in on our pup for months! She is an excellent communicator and she always responds to our questions and care instructions that we provide. Bella provides lots of pictures and updates during her visits - which we really love!!
