Animals have been a part of my life since childhood. Growing up on 5 acres, I cared for cows, sheep, pigs (even helped a mama pig give birth!), fish, and of course, dogs and cats. At just 10 years old, I worked hard to save up and buy my first bought by me doggo—a sweet Golden Retriever named Dusty. She was with me until I was 27, and I cared for her every step of the way. I miss her so much. She was so sweet, loving and enjoyed her back scratches like no other. We had an older pup before her, his name was Buddy. Hr had passed and so it was the 1st time I got to earn and choose our pup. I was also active in 4-H, where I gained hands-on experience with raising, training and caring for animals of all kinds. My family has always cared for animals. My Grandpa Stew, he trained dogs to aid the blind. In this family we take pride in everything that we do. Today, I share my home with Bella Blue, my rescue cat who thinks she’s a dog—she rolls over for belly rubs and even wags her tail. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets. With over three decades of experience, I bring patience, responsibility, and genuine joy to caring for animals. Beyond being a financial professional, my heart is full when I’m around animals.
