I work from home, so I’m able to spend lots of quality time with the dogs in my care. Every day includes three walks — a 30-minute walk in the morning and evening, plus an afternoon trip to the dog park for about an hour of play and socialization. I love making sure dogs have a fun, active, and fulfilling day.

I follow your instructions carefully, maintain your pet’s normal routine, and always leave your home clean and secure. I’m also very attentive to each pet’s energy level and social needs. If your dog is playful, we’ll go on adventures and burn off that energy. If they’re more laid-back or shy, we’ll keep things quiet and cozy. For safety, I take introductions slowly and always ask for details about behavior, health, and routines before any stay. I make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and truly cared for.

Behavior & Social Preferences Are they good with other dogs or prefer space? Any triggers, fears, or aggressive tendencies? How do they behave around strangers or in new environments? 4. Favorite Things What toys, games, or activities do they love? Any comforting routines or items they like to have nearby? 5. House Rules Are there commands or rules you follow at home that you’d like me to maintain—like no couch time, crate use, or off-limit areas? 6. Clean & Flea-Free Please make sure your pet is clean, up-to-date on flea prevention, and ready to socialize if they’ll be around other dogs (like my Border Collie!). I'm happy to offer a free bath when its needed
A typical day
Every day is filled with love, activity, and plenty of tail wags! Since I work from home, your pet will never be short on attention or companionship. I keep a consistent routine that blends structure with fun to make sure your pet feels comfortable and happy from morning to night. Here’s what a day might look like: ☀️ Morning: We start with some playtime, breakfast, and a potty break. Then it’s time for our first walk of the day—whether it’s a short city stroll or a longer trip to the nearby dog park, your pup will get fresh air and a chance to stretch their legs. 🎾 Midday: Midday is usually our most active time! If your dog enjoys being social, we might go on a longer walk or visit a dog-friendly spot with my Border Collie. If they prefer a quieter pace, we’ll have some gentle play or cuddles at home. 🌤️ Afternoon: After all that fun, it’s rest and recharge time. Your pet can lounge in a cozy spot while I work nearby. If they need more activity, we’ll break up the day with a game of fetch or enrichment toys to keep their mind busy. 🌆 Evening: We’ll go out for another walk and enjoy some one-on-one time before dinner. I love ending the day with calm cuddles, belly rubs, and making sure your pet feels relaxed and loved before bedtime. Throughout the day, I’ll send you updates and cute pics, so you can follow along with all the fun your pet is having! I always adjust the day based on your pet’s needs, age, energy level, and preferences.

My experience includes: - Managing multiple dogs during walks and playtime - Giving medication (oral or topical) as directed - Basic training reinforcement (sit, stay, leash manners, etc.) - Reading dog body language to prevent overstimulation or conflict - Caring for senior dogs with mobility or medical needs - Supporting puppies through their socialization and potty training Whether your dog is shy and prefers quiet cuddle time, or outgoing and ready to play all day, I adapt to their needs and give them the attention they deserve. This was our first time using Rover for our dog Maverick, and we had a really great experience with Yantian, who boarded him from before Christmas through after New Year’s. Maverick has some specific needs, so doing a meet-and-greet beforehand was super helpful. Maverick got along with Yantian and their dog, Sesame, which put us at ease. When we dropped Maverick off (along with all his stuff), Yantian walked us through where Maverick would sleep and spend his time, and Maverick was comfortable right away. Throughout the stay, Yantian was very responsive and sent regular photo updates, which we really appreciated. It was clear Maverick was comfortable, happy, and having a good time. Maverick clearly liked both Yantian and Sesame, and the communication throughout the stay was excellent. We’d definitely book again and highly recommend Yantian!
Yantian was amazing! My pup is an anxious one and has a hard time with transitions but Yantian was so wonderful with her!
